I would like to see this taken over by non-chinese co-production but with chinese actors as in ”meet you at the blossom”〜if chinese so backward as to censor same sex themed shows then give the revenue and cultural kudos to others
nice short dorama sometimes frustrating as it focused too much on company employee work problem but managed even so to dramatize the real problem of work life balance as well as bringing in sensitive emotional touches 。Nomura Kota is attractive actor why has he not had more main roles I wonder?❤️🌈
I am so glad to see the transfer of wuxia to co-production in countries where the essential elements are retained and Chinese actors can act freely but without the " Censored Adaptation Of Same-sex Original Work" label appears and hope there will be more. Chinese authorities really shoot themselves as there is a big demand for these dramas and they will lose the cultural kudos as well as revenue. This was a good story with tender moments, the uncomplicated plot not original [but that is not the point with this genre] and more linear than previous wuxia so all done with fewer episodes, in some ways an advantage from having to commit yourself to watching a huge saga. The MLs chemistry very good for me and attractive characters. Costumes and settings quite good.
I am so glad I gave this another chance after being put off by some poor reviews。it starts off rather wooden but develops nicely: I love the tender moments and sensitive artistic touches that make up for limitations in production values、 so I view it as more an impressionistic drama and the MLs have very good chemistry。 unusual to see such open displays of affection in Chinese drama。 the low rating is really undeserved and a travesty❤️🌈
a truly great drama series and although long with long episodes it never dragged for me〜I liked nearly all the characters and the interwoven stories were skillfully put together and above all kudos for including the story of a gay couple in a big traditional Korean family❤️🌟🌈 watch out for thee trademark falls!
after the disappointment of political censorship of same sex drama in China I was hoping other countries would take up the dramas they foolishly discriminated as I am sure there is much demand〜 I love to see back Chinese style drama with men in beautiful costume flowing hair and elegant style of ancient times and no prejudice for same sex themes the story is amusing though seems rather thin but I hope more productions like this or more serious follow
krist perawat is quite expressive but Fluke Gawin is pretty wooden and 、from two episodes where is the gay romance ?all it seems is a non congruent triangular rotation
watch out for thee trademark falls!
