Where is Kwak Shi Yang's award!? Talk about a career making performance.

In general this movie was beautiful. Cinematography was breathtaking. The acting was superb. The music was on point. The story was thoughtout and well rounded. Less of a love story between two people than I thought it would be but honestly I don't even care because the story was so good and the characters so gripping, all I wanted was just to see where they would lead. I have no complaints. Just a stunning movie that deserved all the awards! I'm still crying over the ending.

What I didn't like: 1) Father's back story was never explored so as the main villain, he felt underdeveloped. I actually hated him the least of the three villains I felt the story mainly had. 2.) in the last arc, I felt things went a little stagnant, the story needed something there but it didn't have it. And that went on for like 5 eps, it just needed something more.

What I loved: 1.) wow! The beginning of this show hits you like a punch! I was hooked emotionally so quickly, crying like a baby for nearly 4 eps straight lolol the storyline continued to be amazing as it developed and I was continually impressed. 2.) the characters, even the side characters, were very well fleshed out. It's not common that you find that in tv shows. very well done here.
3.) omg the soundtrack is outstanding. Melancholic, moody, dark.
4.) excellent acting! For one character, for example, I've never hated someone so much. Honestly, I wanted to reach through the screen and strangle him!
5.) I think from a psychological standpoint, cults are fascinating. They eased you into their world and as a viewer, really made you question what is happening. I wish more shows were like Save Me. Feel like I can always rely on OCN to deliver what I crave, a dark show that hooks me into the story within the first episode.

I am not the type of person who likes dramas, I need more excitement in my movies most often. Unless they do an outstanding job with the storyline, I am not into it. The Beauty Inside was one of those rare exceptions for me. The movie perfectly showcases not only the main character's struggle but the woman whom he falls in love with, how hard it eventually becomes for her.

The movie features an all star cast with many favorite actors and actresses. Despite there being only one lead, she plays her role tremendously. I felt like she had chemistry with everyone .

I loved this movie so much I bought it and then recommended it to my friend who is so! anti-foreign films. she said she loved it. You have no idea how much of a feat that is.

Your heart will ache. You'll cry. You'll swoon. It's the perfect romance movie.

First off let me say that Choi Min Suk is a master class actor. When I saw he was in it, that's all I needed to watch it. The movie was not my usual go to but I took a chance and it was well worth it. Beautifully set in the mountains, man vs beast plays out; but it's more complicated than that. We see the motivations behind many types of hunters with Choi's character being the most endearing.

The costumes and sets were perfectly done. The music! You know I never paid attention to music in shows much but I think that goes to show that the scores were never that good. But in The Tiger, it was. Music was perfectly set to scene so you cried when they wanted you to and when they wanted your heart racing, it was.

I didn't expect to appreciate this movie in such a multifaceted way but I do. It has many depths and layers and I finished it with tears in my eyes and appreciation for a great ending. I would watch it again but I don't think I will have the strength to sit through it twice, so many heart wrenching moments.

I was drawn to this after finding out the director had done Train to Busan which we all know is impeccable. psychokinesis isn't as good by a long shot but it does well what it's going for. I've seen these kind of movies before, indie-vibe, superhero, comedy, dramas and I tend to like them. This movie plays into that niche well, making me laugh as the main character is thrown these powers during a time when he's trying to be a better person. I think storywise it works, but the pacing was a tad slow and I once when I had stopped halfway through it, I wasn't dying to get back to it the next day. I'm glad I finished it because I did like it but it was a little slow and the storyline was a little light.

So all the actors did excellent in this, in particular I'm a huge fan of Yoo Ah In after seeing him in Secret Love Affair and of Kim Jae Work after seeing him in Coffee Prince and Voice. They were my favorites in this movie and I thought they played their roles the best.

It was much more light hearted than I expected and i thought that complimented the atmosphere of the bakery and their work in general. But also it strongly juxtaposed Joo Ji Hoon's back story which was very interesting and unexpected. I was confused by the ending though. I didn't feel like things wrapped up and am now wondering if there is a part 2 out there. Even if there was, I don't think it would have the same charm as the first one and so I wouldn't watch it which means I finish this show feeling a little unsatisfied.

So I've seen the anime, read half of the manga, and now watched the live action. In comparison, having not finished the manga, I'm believe it or not, unsatisfied with how this ended. I just can't suspend my beliefs and come to the conclusion that how things played out was a natural thing. It felt scripted. Hopefully the manga is better. Acting was great, everyone was well casted. My favorite part of this series is the kayo stuff and they did a fantastic job on those sequences. I was a little upset that the scene where kayo cries over breakfast in the anime, didn't appear in the show. That was my favorite scene. Definitely give it a watch if you liked the anime. It's worth it to see the ending as it was apparently supposed to be as.

Let me start off my saying that in the past I gave high scores on the music section but after watching this I've realized how wrong this was. Secret Affair has an impeccable OST that actually compliments the show's scenes.

I thought that the chemist between the two leads was FIRE!!! they were definitely the best part of the show which is also why I gave a total rating of 8.5 because the rest of the storyline wasn't strong. I understand why it was what it was, that her being corrupt allowed him to come in and "save" her from herself. But whenver they weren't on screen together I just didn't care about what was going on.

I still really enjoyed the show and have already rewatched some scenes on YouTube. All in all, I'm satisfied. For a kdrama that aired on cable, this is a passionate romance that I'll think back in frequently and may rewatch again one day. Seeing how hye won changed as a person and fell in love, was beautiful.

Also I must say, some of the camera shots were nicely done.

I clicked on this movie knowing nothing about it except that it was a comedy and was very satisfied with my choice. What started as a classic rags to riches story turned it all on its head when the two worlds start unraveling and the hitman regains his identity. The comedy was especially well done on the hitman’s part as he tries to follow in the footsteps of who he thought was himself, including trying to gain approval from who he thought was his father. That part I found really funny. The ending was sweet and totally not cheesy- which I can be particularly tired of so I was grateful. I think it has rewatchability and all the actors were great and I’d look for them in other roles especially if they were similar to ones like in this movie. Check out Luck Key. I enjoyed watching it and I’m sure you will too.

Story lulled in the middle but it was necessary to build the character. Because of what they developed, she grew as a person and it was important to see that. Action scenes were outstanding and very original. I've never scene sequences like that anywhere else. The film was cinematically and visually appealing to the eye. I couldn't stop noticing the camera shots and the colors used. Acting was superb, especially the main actress who really shined. I enjoyed the action most but the ending had a little twist that made me appreciate the story too.

This drama took me a really long time to finish and I don’t know why. When I was watching it, I enjoyed it and would binge a few in a row. It was the kind of show that’s really good in the moment but when you’re away from it, you don’t feel as excited to get back to it. The story was good and I really enjoyed the island scenes. I never watched the American show Lost but I imagine how crazy it would be to be stranded on a deserted island and I loved getting to see that play out. How they chose to tell their story was interesting and didn’t take any of the suspense out surprisingly. The show did unexpectedly well with the thriller/suspense genre. There was one episode where they getting saved from the island and that was by far the strongest episode, especially in that genre. All the characters had good chemistry and the villain, god! he was despicable and you just loved hating him. What I didn’t expect from this show that I loved so much was the comedy. I plan to watch more shows from this screenwriter because it was so hilarious and played perfectly to my comedic sense. I think it would’ve been better if it had been cut down a little. Maybe to 13 episodes. Just tightened up and a few less setbacks. But overall, I enjoyed it.

Not as funny as the trailer made it seem but still hilarious. Good chemistry between the main leads and a good plot as we watch them hunt down the criminals and realize their passion for police work. There were a few really well written scenes that added depth to the characters that I think were necessary and in fact, may have needed a few more and that’s why I can’t give this a 10/10.  I really enjoyed it and would watch again. Plus, the training scene *fanning herself* wow thanks guys! You looked really hot!

What a great movie! It was kinda funny how evil they made the Americans but I loved the guy who played the President, he was the Prime Minister in Pandora too and in both, he played the caring leader who wanted to save his citizens. The acting in this film was great. I saw Jang Hyuk in the Voice and was so happy to see him in this, he plays all his roles to so well. And Park Min Ha as the daughter was just outstanding! I was totally rooting for them to become a family in the end.

The story was well done, I wasn’t bored oncee. Everything progressed at an even pace. The score fit the movie perfectly. My only complaint is one of the scenes, about midway through we saw how they were disposing the corpses and it was quite disgusting. I think they could’ve scaled back on that a little. But I guess it achieved what the scene intended, I was entirely on the citizens side at that point and thought, “to hell with the government!”

Definitely worth the watch. Especially it you love disaster and thriller movies.

I don't know why I cried so much after the movie was over. The songs played during the credits coupled with the drawings  really hit home for me what happened to him as a whole and all that he lost. His family were terrible people and what they did was a terrible thing but it was so interesting seeing how they all in their own ways and for their own reasons, became a family with him. Watching him become more aware of his morality and taking a stand, it created this dilemma of who he wanted to stay faithful to. Finding out who Hwayi really was just deepened that to another level and broke your heart. I've got to give credit to Yeo Jin Goo, he is an excellent actor. And personally, I was super excited to see that Jo Jin Woong was in this movie. I loved! him in Signal (as we all did of course ????) and he was wonderful in this movie! Without his character, I think I wouldn't have felt as conflicted about the Day Breaker family as I do. I'm really surprised how much I loved this movie. It had just enough depth to make me think but not too much to take away from the action. I'm trying so hard not to spoil anything so this might sound confusing but I couldn't stop thinking about Im Hyoung Taek and his wife, the whole time just imagining all the pain they've gone through as the try to cling to every last shred of hope. Just heartbreaking.

What a strange movie. So dark and bloody but most of it was silly because of Bok Sun. As always Kim Go Eun is fantastic and so was Ahn Seo Hyun.  Kim can cry so realistically, coupled with her character's personality, I think she really shined here. The guy who played the killer, Lee Min Kee, woah! did he do good. So creepy and psychotic! My heart was racing in fear whenever he was chasing them, he's just nuts! Am I crazy because I kinda feel bad for him? It's the classic case of if his family were different, maybe he would've turned out better. I did feel like the story dragged on a little bit and I wanted to fast forward a few times. But it was worth the watch.
