People are just disappointed because there's so much wasted potential and nothing is really happening. The main issue is that they introduced an interesting world but they're not doing anything with it. The friendships feel unearned, there's no sense of urgency. The romance is cute and all but I feel like it's been stuck in the same place for a couple episodes now. It's not that people want a fast paced romance, I personally enjoy slow burns, it's the fact that they're focusing so much on the romance but there's still no progression. All I see is Talay and Puen going on dates and hanging out while making some flirty comments here and there. If they want to do that that's fine but they could've just turned it into a regular romance without the universe switch, people would've complained way less if they did that. You and I might have a different perspective on this because I'm just a casual BL watcher so I haven't seen any terrible ones to compare this to but I really think they could've done a lot better.

I had to pause the episode for several minutes because I was laughing so hard, I don't know how Mix could hold it together in that scene 💀

I'm pretty sure they were just going for a visual gag, like when a character stays alone for a while and doesn't really take care of himself so he grows a beard. I thought it was pretty funny, reminded me of Phupha's fake beard in atots

I noticed that Talay said "my brother" and "my parents" instead of referring to them as Tess' family in this episode. Makes me feel like they really should've done something with that, they could've shown him bond with them over time until he actually feels like they're his family. Maybe he has a bad relationship with his own family which we could've seen in episode 1, and getting closer to Tess' family makes him miss his and makes him want to fix things. Puen bonding with Tun's friends and them now going separate ways could've been so much more impactful if they showed him being lonely at the beginning, or people only approaching/using him because he's famous, and this is the first time he has real friends. This could've also better justified why he really doesn't want to tell Talay his name because he has serious trust issues and fears that he would treat him differently. There's just so much they could've done and so much wasted potential already.

On another note Oishi needs to chill with their product scenes, first it's High School Musical and now the cup that magically fills itself with snow. Please just drink the tea normally and tell me how fresh and healthy it is

I think you're confusing the characters with the actors, Tine was supposed to be the panicked one while Sarawat was supposed to be the confident one. Pran was supposed to be reserved while Pat was supposed to be straightforward. It's the way their characters are and they have to portray them like that, plus actors can't change the whole script to make it more intimate. I don't think Bright and Win were 100% comfortable in their roles but if Nanon wasn't comfortable you wouldn't have seen them kiss like that. If you wanted an actual sex scene, P'Aof himself said he doesn't really know how to direct these kinds of scenes. I don't think Bright and Ohm would ever work as a pairing for a variety of reasons.

You can search for it on MDL, it's a Thai GL that's coming out around the end of this year and the first trailer is already out. A lot of people are really excited about it and I hope it'll finally start the GL wave

There were some strong hints that Korn actually had a crush on Wai but I do think they're better off as friends, it's good to show a healthy male friendship like this. I'm pretty sure they were also making fun of the BL trope that all their friends must like guys and end up with each other too (though Korn is definitely bi, there's solid evidence). Drake and Jimmy obviously have great friend chemistry but I'm not sure if that would translate well to romantic chemistry. It worked really well with Ohm and Nanon but that's not always the case

I think they're waiting for GAP to release so they can see the audience feedback before they make their own GL. It's smart, they probably don't want to take the risk of being the 'first' but if GAP is a success they have MilkLove as an established pairing which already has an audience. That's what it seems like to me

This is definitely my favourite version out of the ones I've seen. Bright did a great job of portraying Thyme and I don't think he's a bad actor but sometimes he makes that expression that's like a mix of "I'm in love with you", "are you serious right now?" and "I want to punch you", and you never really know what emotion he's supposed to be feeling in those moments. Is he sad? angry? hurt? disappointed? falling deeper in love? getting ready to attack? It wasn't a huge issue for me but I'm currently watching 2gether for the first time because I feel like I have to and saw him doing it there too, reminded me of this lol

MDL always shows the total number of episodes regardless of how many have aired already. We're only on episode 4, episode 5 is coming out this Saturday. It should say July 16 to around the end of September but sometimes MDL shows the current date as the end date instead of the actual one. It's just a glitch that happens a lot, you didn't miss anything.

You probably shouldn't have started with this one if this is your first Thai drama, there are definitely better ones. You can't really beat kdramas when it comes to production and stuff but that doesn't automatically make everything else bad.

Talay (Sea) is in Tess' (Ohm) body and the real Tess (Ohm) is in Talay's (Sea) body in the normal universe. Same thing with Puen (Jimmy) and Tun (Nanon). When Talay (Sea) looks at Puen (Jimmy) he sees Tun (Nanon) and when Puen (Jimmy) looks at Talay (Sea) he sees Tess (Ohm). It's only we as viewers who see Talay (Sea) and Puen (Jimmy) instead of Tess (Ohm) and Tun (Nanon). Remember, they already met before in their universe. Talay at least would have immediately recognised Puen if he could see his real appearance since he's a famous actor, and Puen would've probably remembered him too.

Everyone including Puen sees Tess when looking at Talay, and everyone including Talay sees Tun when looking at Puen. They don't know each other's real looks, otherwise they would've recognised each other. The reason they show the real Talay and Puen most of the time is just for the viewers' sake (and to represent that they're falling in love with each others real selves)

Don't let other people's opinions ruin a drama for you. Of course the mdl comments are gonna talk about what they like and don't like about the drama, that's what the comments are for. People have valid criticism about the plot and characters. I think episode 4 is always a pretty good point to decide whether you want to keep watching or not, if you're not feeling it by now there's not much of a point in watching further.

If you like it that's all that matters, you don't have to agree with the criticism and you shouldn't let it affect your enjoyment. I agree that the comments can get too much sometimes but don't bash people for pointing out legitimate flaws.

True, it feels like they didn't really think this through. We've never even seen the real Tess apart from when he got beaten up so we still only have a vague idea about what he's like. Also, aren't Tess and Tun supposed to be really close? Why do Tess' friends act like they've never seen him before when people clearly know about their friendship? Shouldn't Tun have been the first to notice that Tess isn't himself anymore?

Here's what I think is the main issue: it's a mix between a BL and a fantasy story, and they only got the BL people working on it. They're treating it like a regular BL with some quirks instead of properly incorporating the other universe because they don't really know how to do it. The romance feels slow because there aren't any stakes or obstacles but at the same time moves very fast because they didn't make the other character relationships interesting enough to focus on. If you ask me the first 1-2 episodes should've been focused on Talay and Puen in our universe so we could learn more about them. There's so many things they could've done if they'd just told us more about Talay, Puen, Tess and Tun, and the other characters actually reacted to them like they should.

They really took half the fun out of it, one of the main appeals of stories like this is the characters trying to fit in and other people noticing that they're different. I've seen a few kdramas with similar concepts and they always keep that stuff in mind.

We're only on episode 4 though so we'll see, maybe they'll surprise us

How do they even choose their pairings, do they just throw random people who are available at the moment together? I get if the actors are friends and want to work together but pairings like JimmySea always seem to come out of nowhere
