Could someone please explain the controversy between Ohm and Nanon. I have been seeing people talk about it everywhere…
they haven't been interacting much lately and seem very distant in public so people think there's some kind of bad blood between them. If you ask me people are being a little too dramatic. I personally think they either got tired of the shippers (especially Nanon since he wasn't used to it) or gmm wanted the hype to die down to promote their individual series more since OhmNanon isn't really one of their staple pairings that do a lot of bls together like e.g. OffGun or EarthMix.
This is the "reason" people most often point to: They had kind of an "argument" sometime last year which was basically just Ohm being tired at an event but people overdramatized it as always. After that they had a fan event (might have been their first fan meeting if I'm not mistaken) where they publicly apologised to each other (though I'm pretty sure they had already sorted it out in private, from what I gathered it really wasn't as big of a deal as people made it out to be) and even cried on stage. Some people accused them of acting but if it was they could've just continued acting like they're fine, I don't think this had anything to do with it at all.
There was some sort of interview/segment with P'Aof (director) some time ago where Nanon said he was straight which upset a bunch of people and he got attacked a bit for that. If you ask me this might be one of the actual reasons why they act more distant in public now and if it is I kind of get it, shippers can be pretty insane.
Another possible reason people like to bring up: There was a recent controversy about Ohm apparently bullying some (disabled?/gay? don't quote me on that, not sure about the exact details) kid/s when he was in school but to my understanding he never really tried to hide that he had a troubled past so I'm not entirely sure why they dug this up now. I also don't think this was it because to my understanding it happened after they already seemed like this.
tl;dr nobody knows what actually happened, I personally think they're still fine in private. People always think they know someone based on what they choose to show in public but we have no idea what they're like behind the scenes. Maybe they really did have a personal issue though and I just believe in friendship too much but I like to think they wouldn't throw it away that easily.
We had such pairs before. Maybe it just got more popular with Semantic error I remember these at least 😅😅2…
I mean isn't that because most people just naturally have a height difference? I don't think they're specifically focusing on creating pairings with height differences lol
Can I just say I absolutely hate the intro song, I think it's terrible and should be burned immediately, but I can't skip it either. it's like the song equivalent of a car crash
I'm fine with this because msp already left me satisfied and they clearly just did this for fun. It also made me laugh multiple times because whoever wrote this and msp really hit my specific sense of humour lol
I actually thought they did a pretty good job at combining/recontextualizing certain scenes and dialogues. If you've only seen msp once you might not get or remember a lot of it but as someone who's watched it multiple times I do appreciate what they did there and all the details they added.
It was fun seeing gemini and fourth kind of play each other's roles (I especially enjoyed fourth's performance) but I'm glad we ended up getting the version we did, there's just something each of them brings to these characters that the other can't quite replicate. The end of episode 1 made me want to see them in a more angsty setting though, I love my wholesome tinngun/limingheart but now I kind of want some angst and drama after seeing a glimpse of it here
also you're not slick gmm, I counted at least 5 new things to be sold at gmmtv shop
honestly I think all this speculation is pointless. Maybe they did have a personal issue, maybe the shippers were too much (for nanon especially) or maybe gmm even had a say in it because they wanted to promote their other series. Either way, the point is we don't know them personally and they don't owe us anything. What we see online is just a glimpse of their lives that they choose to share with the public. They might still be on good terms privately for all we know, I haven't been following them that closely lately but I like to think their friendship wasn't that fragile.
the delivery guy saying 'hehe' cracked me up. I think the acting was a bit better but I still didn't quite feel their chemistry. Story wise it was alright, I like that they continued with the color thing and the metaphor with Jigsaw's drawing was good. Looking forward to JimmySea in Last Twilight though since I trust P'Aof
rumour they adding view and june as side GL couple, not sure as third couple or change the story to replace G4…
Probably third couple. There's no way gmm is gonna replace geminifourth after their recent popularity, especially since they're already in the trailer and everything. That would just be a bad business move
Why was this actually funny though, I didn't know you had jokes gmmtv. I'm not sure if it was the writing, the delivery, the editing or all of the above but the humour really landed for me, for some reason it's pretty rare for a romcom to get the comedy part right. Still doesn't beat my two favourite gmmtv jokes of all time, Claire turning off the dramatic music in The Gifted and Phupha's fake beard in atots lol
Fourth really surprised me, I first saw him in F4 Thailand but I didn't know my boy Glakao could act like this. What especially stuck out to me wasn't necessarily the big emotional scenes but the small very specific emotions and facial expressions. Like being shy, flustered, cheeky, teasing, disappointed, obviously hiding something etc., he somehow does them a certain way that's very fascinating to watch, it's hard to explain.
Obviously Gemini did a great job too, I think Tinn is a pretty hard character to pull off without coming off as annoying/too awkward and I don't know if anyone else could've done it as well as he did.
Gemini and Fourth have that rare comfortable chemistry where you feel their connection and it seems like they genuinely enjoy each other's company, plus they both can actually act and they're still this young. I'll definitely follow their future works together and separately.
Music was great, SoundWin was cute, favourite side characters were Tiw, Tinn's mom, Tinn's dad, Gun's mom and Yak (don't @ me Yak haters)
It's very wholesome and cute but still grounded and genuine, it feels like a lot of love was put into this and everyone enjoyed working on it. They probably won't be able to top this one for me for a while
can someone explain the order in which I watch these? cuz I know this goes all the way back to "the eclipse" (i…
If you're talking about Our Skyy it doesn't matter in which order you watch them, they're not connected to each other at all. You can just watch the episodes for the dramas you've seen and skip the rest if you want to.
its been mentioned many times in this comment section. infact just a few msgs below it mentiones the order againalso,…
The cast list is in the right order but for me the summary says a tale of thousand stars, bad buddy, star in my mind, never let me go, a boss and a babe, vice versa, the eclipse and my school president in that order
Honestly I felt like everything else was more interesting than the main couple. I liked Jim and Wen individually but I didn't really 100% feel their scenes together, I was way more invested in their interactions with the other characters. I liked EarthMix in atots so I'm not sure why they didn't work for me here, Mix in particular seemed to shine more in his scenes with Alan or even Li Ming or when he was just joking around with Leng but maybe that's just me. Li Ming and Heart were adorable and easily my favourite part, also loved the cinematography.
I have to say this drama was very satisfying to me though because most of the characters got to interact with each other, I don't know if I'm the only one but it always makes a show better for me when all the characters met at some point
I found it pretty disappointing in general, there was so much wasted potential and a lot of unsatisfying conclusions. I watched this live when it aired and at one point I honestly felt like I was watching the same episode for the fourth week in a row
