no idea why they put this on mdl but I loved it, I feel like this absolutely shouldn't have worked in live action but it somehow did. made me want to watch the anime which I always avoided because of the huge amount of episodes but everything about this was so endearing that I now have to
honestly i’m not bothered by the sudden switch of them becoming close because we all know that hate is not the…
I mean I get it but they're suddenly acting like they've been friends for years. It just doesn't quite feel like it's a natural progression of their dynamic to me, it's like we're getting the payoff without proper buildup. That's why the romantic moments this episode and the pool scene didn't hit for me either. I am still enjoying it though and I don't want to judge it too harshly after only three episodes, maybe this one just wasn't my cup of tea.
O.K. I'm hoping the umbrella scene is just a sign that these two were friends in the past and had a falling out…
I'm 99% sure it's just gonna be Sailom having a crush because judging by the preview Kang doesn't even seem to remember it, although it would be much more interesting if they used to be friends. I think they just didn't want us to see Kang as the bad guy for too long buy they really needed another episode before having them act this friendly towards each other. Not to draw comparisons again but gmm managed to pull off something similar in F4 Thailand where they were on friendly-ish terms by episode 4 and the progression actually felt natural (granted they had multiple templates but still)
it's cute and all but it kinda feels like we skipped an episode. I guess I get it from Sailom's pov after seeing the end of this episode but there should've at least been some awkward tension after last episode
this isn’t even the official cover… the show hasn’t come out yet give it its chance like—
tbh I didn't feel a lot of chemistry between them in VV either but I trust in P'Aof and if anyone can convince me of their chemistry it's him. I also thought it was slightly better in the Our Skyy episodes but maybe that's just me
Because the show want to show the character development of the worse guy exist in the universe, the fact that…
that's not what I was saying at all, I like this trope as much as the next person but you made it sound like it's okay to get in a relationship with a bad person because you'll be able to change him. I've read a bunch of stories from people who thought like that and it never seems to end well. again, I'm not saying you can't have this sort of thing in fiction. I always love me some good character development and I'm enjoying this series a lot so far but it sounded like you were saying it would be totally fine irl.
Episode 2 was good, but why did Kanghan suddenly being so nice at the end of episode? Well maybe he helped him…
he felt bad seeing Sailom like this. he suddenly realized what Sailom's life is actually like and felt guilty for making his life harder an indirectly causing this situation. he may be an a**hole but he's not a completely terrible person.

this kind of thing works in a show because we know there's gonna be character development, he's not really that bad, it's just fiction etc. but in real life people are more likely to end up in a toxic/abusive relationship because of this 'I can fix him' mindset. You don't have to play anyone's therapist and try to fix all his issues, it'll only exhaust you emotionally and it's very unlikely he'll actually change for you anyway. It's not worth it if he's a bad person no matter how attractive he may be.
The Hana Yori Dango or Boys Over Flowers vibes are strong with this one!
it really feels like they took a lot of inspiration. Sailom working part time jobs, the throwing water from above and messing with his stuff, him stepping up for his friend and getting targeted instead, Kang and friends pretty much owning the school and the teachers not doing anything, the bowing scene is like the lick my shoe scene, the kiss is basically the kick, grandma is like the housekeeper, Kang's female friend is like the sister and that's just from the top of my head and it's only episode one lol
omg right! I was like.... why is this not a romance? The way they looked at each other and their interactions…
from my understanding it was very much intended as a romance but they had to censor it. The writer said something about Ga On being the role of the typical female lead and that he didn't think about genders while writing these characters (paraphrasing, you can find it online somewhere). they also toned down the original script where it was more obvious. I think everyone involved was aware though and they still got away with a LOT if you ask me
the reason they were recast isn't because of scheduling conflicts or anything, it's because some fans were at each other's throats. basically some gl fans wanted a pure gl without a bl side couple, on top of that g4 have gotten extremely popular recently so they were worried they'd overshadow the main couple. some bl/g4 fans said they'd only watch it for them and didn't care about the gl couple. both sides were just really nasty to the point where gmm changed the side couple to another gl couple and gave g4 their own new series in 2024 (which afaik they usually never announce before the end of the year press conference so you know it was serious lol). It's a win-win for me since I'm looking forward to both but this whole drama was really unnecessary
Generally curious how come it’s understandable for not me (I am watching it now but don’t know much about…
even with identical twins there's often some small differences that makes people able to tell them apart and with nanon there'd obviously be no differences (but tbh I can't tell AJ and JJ apart either)
