i'm delaying this bcs someone said this drama is inspired by Gone with the wind. Finished reading it, now i'm on episode 9 and I think i can see some similarities. hoping those two will not turn out like scarlett and rhett, though (they most likely won't lol kdrama viewers wouldn't be able to handle that much angst)
It's just to pass the censorship, so it seems a modern-day novelist Xue Ning wrote this story, because the FL…
oh wow this is interesting! i always thought time-travel thingy was banned because it just simply not making sense. turns out there's a public case about it.
on ep 10 and idk if its only me but i feel like there's something unsettling with how they portray the relationship between xinzi and jiabai. like... the guy is major red flag but even their break up are portrayed in melancholic way (?)
ep 25 rant: as much as i adore that scene at the outside of zhang residence when xie wei consoles heartbroken ninger, i cant help but laughing at xiewei's coat fur in ning'er's mouth lol.
on episode 22 rant: i have to say jiang xuening what a fool! it was a perfect trap to get rid of duke xue and she just need to take a whole yan troop to save one person out of selfishness.
well i guess this is something in cdrama that never sits well with me, how the main characters (that mostly upper class) has zero interest toward the lower class beyond using them as a pawn. i know it's probably how it was during war era etc etc but it's just bumming me out, this class difference portrayal. even in a drama as good as story of minglan :(
As a 2023 post Rover EXO-l I've been hunting down all the EXO content I can since April. I've basically watched…
have you try exo showtime ep 10? (or 11, i forgot lol) they each locked in individual room and have to answer telepathy quizzes to escape. it's a forgotten classic that i feel every exo-l should watch :)
i kept thinking why wang xingyue looked so familiar.. i think he has this same sadness/tortured look as luo yunxi lol just one look at him and you'll realize the character he plays are going to suffer at least a bit.
