just got to the part where xxxx stabbed his own hand and got an epiphany on why we enjoy this drama so much. unlike other dramas where the 'good' always win and come out unscathed, in this drama there's no such thing. for a high reward, high risk must be taken, that's why we're hooked till the end. this drama does not belittle us audience with 'divine intervention' or something similar to win.
please anyone suggest me similar kind of drama I need something to watch now ðŸ˜I'm in withdrawals as SOKP ended…
probably story of minglan? the main leads are also not as pristine as what is usually expected from cdramas. the only downside is that drama needs patience as it's very long and even much more slow burn than this.
just got to that scene where jiang xuening stabbed xie wei. before this i don't think xie wei was crazy, just determined. that scene changed my mind lol
pls correct me if im wrong but in the novel, isn't there a five year gap after the princess was sent to rivaling countries? and on those 5 yrs, xuening built her business empire to fund her schemes. are they skipping that part in the drama?
It's crazy how this drama has no filter. Some cdramas seem to use a smoothening face filters to their actors but…
read this comment and I just realized this drama has no filter! to me this really help in getting immersed with the visual aspect of the film and the story in whole. maybe that's why this drama is so enjoyable to watch!
i know everyone's happy that finally there's some action between xiewei and ninger inside that carriage but I can't help laughing at ning'er's hair swept by the wind.. inside a carriage.. lol they really have a fan as hidden character in ever ning'er scene.
as a fan of sally on her gugudan phase, I'm just so happy she made it to act besides a known actor like bailu T_T her acting might not be perfect yet but she can hold up on her own, I'm sure she'll keep going better from here-- cheers to her!
What kind of illness does he actually have? They call it dementia in the drama, but it seems to be a fictional…
the english translation is off. there's a thread talking about it in the discussion board. in my language it translated into 'symptom of illusions' which is a lot more fitting.
tried ep 1. a bit on the fence on whether i should continue watching. because the drama is gorgeous but the plot feels too long and draggy. i feel like guo jingming's works are often gorgeous with intriguing ideas but poor execution. should i continue this?
*who is actually a man hell-bent on avenging his mother's grief while also protecting his family and friends
they really have a fan as hidden character in ever ning'er scene.
should i continue this?
