Tencent Video data means Ancient Love Poetry on-demand cost is 57 Yuan one of the more expensive drama charged by Tencent but despite airing for 39 days the shortest airings among all S+ they managed to attract a lot of VIP user and this contribute to a high number of data.
For example another drama has higher ranking than ALP in terms of number of user bought VIP but Tencent charge 4 Yuan compared to ALP 57Yuan so it's nice to see that many people are still willing to purchase despite the high price.

Yeah just because he don't have the "ideal" chiseled jaw face as his jawline is not obvious being a round type of face. Chinese entertainment is very toxic in terms of this, a drama can literally being attack like Ancient Love Poetry just because the main leads is fat and the female lead is ugly. their body shaming is ridiculous because just a little bit of meat and it's considered fat.
The scandal broke out before the drama finished airing so he didn't have any endorsement yet at that time. Some ads and events for FILA , FENDI, Chanel, Roger Dubuis, Guerlain perfume and Tiffany but no title so nothing to drop I guess but after the show ended running in 2018, 3DG Hong Kong Jewelry appointed him as the brand Spokesperson and it lasted until now which is 4 years already, and last year he was appointed as Guerlain all-line Ambassador and this year he was appointed as FENDI all-line Brand Ambassador. The way Xu Kai gaining his endorsement seems to gradually rising up the title rather than immediate appointment. @missclementine pretty much get everything just want to add when Daikin accused Xu Kai of cheating on her with Bai Lu, Daikin commented on a post Bai Lu posted accusing that Xu Kai gave a bed sheets that she gave to Xu Kai to Bai Lu and he cheated on her. Soon after people pointed out that the bed sheets is a hotel bed sheet and that Bai Lu is a co-actress with Xu Kai in the new drama. Realizing she made a mistake she apologized in the comment section that she was indeed mistakenly thought that Bai Lu and Xu Kai is together. Please note that Xu Kai already break up with her back in 2015 so despite already not being together for a long time she said Xu Kai is cheating on her. After he became an actor she still haunted him with 15 miscall a day. There is even an article about this incident written by a professor at Beijing University regarding the pattern of of internet celebrity destroying the image of upcoming actors to boost up their popularity in order to sell their goods.

Huge complain about that from the audience, I agree as well with the complain and base on interview with the two scriptwriter they doesn't seems to agree with the changes as well but can't say anything about it. Ooh ok actually, I doubt S2 will continue with Hai Yunfan ending because there is an issue regarding that, you see the drama was made by the company that Hai Yunfan actor and Liuli actress under so the company added scenes that was not in the comic for hai yunfan and liuli arc to promote their own artist and those scenes are the very scenes that you point out and since this drama got popular people were complaining about the added arc and Hai Yunfan actor especially was criticized heavily due to the added scene because wang wu and wang lu has less scene together (not necesssarily romantic but people like the antics between wang wu and wang lu). So due to this added scenes he got criticism for his acting skills people saying if he steal other's scenes at least learn how to act as well as the main leads. This incident actually kill his career because the critics were harsh and it can be said destroy his career. Because due to this incidents he blame his company for forcing scenes and he stopped following his company instructions to attend casting for other dramas or variety shows and the last I read, his company sue him and he has to pay 3million yuan. Needless to say it ended badly and the same company will make S2 so I read that they will follow comic instead.
Regarding the reincarnation, Wang Lu is the reincarnation of Ouyang Shang but Chinese censorship does not allow direct mention of someone dead reborn as someone else so they have to foreshadow it instead of telling it directly.

If you look at the original comic she is exactly what Wang Wu is so I don't think they could have casted someone better. What are the plot holes in your opinion? Just curious because this drama revolve around irony, sarcasm and satire a lot rather than a one type of plot. Anyway I don't think this type of drama pleases normal audience but more of a certain type of audience because it's slapstick jokes which many male audience relate more to than female audience hence why this drama has a higher rate of male audience. There is a Season 2 confirmed by the production because this drama was highly rated (literally never fall off the no.1 spot) and multiple articles produced by universities and critics about this drama's success in tackling this kind of genre because there are not a lot of drama of this genre managed to pull off it's delivery.

They produced LAR which gained a huge praise good cgi, handsome male lead, good acting skills, good plot and if you look at the douban comments of users who left 1 star you can notice a pattern that use this keywords in their comments. They keep saying the male lead actor is AI because that's what the critics said about Dylan Wang acting in xianxia Miss the Dragon, this drama became a common joke among netizens and they wanted to associate ALP with this drama to indicate the low level of production and acting. If you read various Douban thread open in the earlier period broadcast of ALP many of the post comparing Bai Jue to Si feng and Xu Kai to Cheng Yi.

True Xu Kai is not a traffic actor neither did Zhou Dongyu hence why their drama is open to attacks like this. Xu Kai does have a lot of black fans but their attack won't be enough to produce a sabotage with this scale. From what I read on Douban most of the attacks came from Zhou Dongyu's haters majority of it I know she was hated for winning big awards over many traffic stars despite being deemed not being beautiful enough (seriously if you read the comment when she won the complete 3 crown award the comments are mostly toxic from fans of other flowers) and other attacks were joined in from fans of other S+ dramas where they don't want to be the bottom of S+ dramas hence they sabotage but as far as I know this failed because ALP still able to lift up their grades in the later part of broadcast until finale. Their final report is very good. Nowadays in centz due to the rising traffic artist culture with growing fanbase the drama and film industry is being sabotage with the fanbase culture who wanted their favourite artist performance to be on top regardless the quality. There are article I read about the buying data and hiring bots to crush down rival. The income of this bots are no jokes it's no wonder they are shameless to do it. You can read it here

Yeah general fans actually love this drama many open discussions to talk about it but during it's earlier runnings black fans will come and mock them replying like "how much you were paid?" mocking that good reviews are being paid by the drama parties when in fact it was them being paid. Even now the black fans are still working hard to make sure the rating didn't go up to 6.0.
Some people has commented as well that the filters in this drama is too white for Xu Kai and Zhou Dongyu who has a very fair skin that their face and neck seems to merge at some point.
It shows that Douban rating has lost it's credibility because now black fans can manipulate it into a tools to attack.
