In both reality TV series, a group of strangers move in together and find friendship and love, with entertaining commentary by a group of panelists. Terrace House is more loosely structured and relaxed, while Heart Signal involves a game that makes the residents' stay interesting. Heart Signal is generally more light-hearted than Terrace House; Terrace House tends to focus more on drama and deeper topics.

The premise of assassinating the King. One is about the era of Seong Jong and Jong Jong while the other follows the Noron plot to assassinate King Jeong Jo.

- Even though they are set in different time periods they share many similarities

Obviously it's the original version of this story, so it's to be expected as a recommendation. I personally think that Art is a bit more likeable thank McIntosh to be honest. I felt McIntosh's character came across a bit more racist to me.

- She was Pretty's transformation was from attractive to unattractive (even though she wasn't really in my opinion, I thought she was so cute!!) While diamond lover was the other way around

- Romance is a side story in both, it is less present in Cruel City
- Both mains are in the police force
- Both highlight the sacrifices made by undercover police and their tough lives

- Even though they tell completely different stories, these two dramas both have the female leads disguised as males entering the lives of the male leads
- Both female leads help the males through their life crisis'
- To the beautiful you is a fluff drama while the latter is kind of the opposite

- Both have basically the same actors
- Legend of Zhen Huan focuses more on the emperor's harem while Legend of Mi Yue on politics
- Both highlight the hard life concubines had
- Legend of Mi Yue has a stronger storyline

- Both include the transition from college to work life
- Both showcase the daily struggles of young adults
- Both are slice-of life dramas, I recommend both for all young people

- Both deal with gangs
- Both have leads conflicted about their life involved in the black market
- Coin locker girl doesn't have the romance aspect as much

- Both revolve around art
- Both female leads help the male leads with their art
- Both dramas are good in not concentrating completely on romance, there are interesting side stories besides from this aspect
