Both dramas have a main couple with a 20+ years old age gap and a professionally successful female lead. Both dramas have the theme of sexual attraction and are depressing and angsty.

Sungkyunkwan Scandal is set near the end of the 18th century while Rookie Historian is set in the early 19th century.

Both female leads are feminists starting out on the career path of a government official. Said career path is illegal for women throughout Sungkyunkwan Scandal, but newly made legal a few episodes into Rookie Historian.

In Sungkyunkwan Scandal, the female lead is a Sungkyunkwan scholar, which -- to loosely connect the two dramas together -- was a typical starting point in the career path of a royal historian. However, in Rookie Historian, the government is in a hurry to fill the newly legalized positions for female historians, meaning that the women who want to become historians take the civil service exam without ever having attended university, drawing yet another divide between them and their male colleagues.

Both Blind Witness and The Witness are remakes of the Korean movie "Blind". They are all pretty good thrillers and being remakes of the same story make them alike.

Blind Witness is the Japanese remake of the Korean Blind, if you liked any of the versions you'll definitely like this.

Both the drams are very much the same. Very very similar. I'm sure anyone who like touch your heart will like The beauty inside you. Lot of romance and lot of dialogues.

Following text contains spoilers : There two dramas gave me really similar vibes. Both had the cold antihero male-lead, with the inability to understand and feel normal emotions. Both male leads are in love with warm, smart and mature female leads, who both figures out the truth about their partners pasts as the stories go along. On top of that, both dramas circles around murder investigations and its uncertain who killed who.

Both movies show a realistic portray of child characters. They have a friendship and family focus and more 'quiet', human, slow movies with a similar feel, which probably comes down to the fact they have the same director. The House of Us is credited as a sequel to The World of Us because the main characters make small appearences in that movie.

Please create more seasons; maybe until season 10, the married life of Mr. and Mrs. Ling.
