They aren't really similar in the feels as Welcome to Waikiki is much funnier, but they are both lovable and feel good. They both are similar in the found family aspect with all the characters being unique and weird in their on way. Thirty but Seventeen has some very funny moments too yet also sometimes makes you want to cry. Just a little but you have been warned.

Premise of both very similar to DOTS. For both of these two:

-Female Doctor, Male Special forces/Military Officer. Very much career dramas.
-Initially don't get on, grow together and support each other.
-Slow burn Romance
-Brought together (romantically and work-wise) though danger... natural disasters/bandits etc.
-FLs outspoken and strong in beliefs.

The badass feeling.

Tough, quiet, unique MLs.
Unique dramas with friendship and life values.
Strangely enough, the MLs have the same hairstyle.

Dramas with really similar vibes. The leads are connected by a very similar incident. The music is calm. The scenery is beautiful. Healing dramas. Tear-jerkers. Heart-melting. They give the same feeling.

They are both fantasy drama and have the same mistery and romance , the same female lead, and the whole drama by the same screenwriter ^^ enjoy it

Women exploited by men and capitalism. In "The Goddess", Ryan, a prostitute, uses her earnings to support and educate her son. The movie captures the misery and hopelessness of China at the time. Ruan is the symbol of China's suffering.

A new love story with the same actors.
This time, the letters are the way for fell in love, showing that the love just need words and the right time.

Because both movies talk about to find the true love, and sometimes you don't need look so far, the own destiny bring to you that real one love.
