Both involve quietly powerful, cunning women who come to serve and be loved by their king/emporer in a dangerous political enviroment. They also both involve love lines with ambitious princes trying to take down their siblings to get to the throne. They both also involve a foreign prince/princess with a strong and untamable heart.

Both movies have Gong Hyo Jin. Although their beginnings are very different, *spoiler ahead* they both feature relationships that eventually lead to one person dating two people and all parties involved are aware.

Both are patriotic Chinese spy stories about brave communists under the Japanese occupation. In Severe Winter you can see Nicky Wu - the 4th prince of the Scarlet Heart, by the way.

Yoon Jung Hyuk (Lee Jong Suk) is a young man that takes care of his sick girlfriend in the hospital. There he meets a woman named Lee Shin Ae. Through his interactions and relationship with Lee Shin Ye, Yoon Jung Hyuk grows as a man and learns what true love is. - Taken from MDL.

So storywise this too are not the same but the same at the same time we get the eternal drama trope of birth secrets. Insane stalksish second lead. Parents that you seriously wish had gotten a license for making f children since they are so crappy at the job. But what made me recommend this drama here is the love Tian You as for the man girl. And the patience he has with waiting for her to me it reminded me so much of Tiang Ming devotion for his main girl .

A repressed woman is in a marriage with overbearing in-laws meets a man who unwinds her and allows her to be herself.

Same creator and both shows by iQiyi. Idol Hits promotes the idols that came out of Idol Producer and other artists.

The Mystic Nine ends at the same time the Battle of Changsha starts. The Mystic Nine takes place a few years before the first battle of Changsha and is centered around tomb raiding. While these two dramas are unrelated to each other in terms of plot and genre, if you want to watch something after The Mystic Nine that is in the same time period, then you should watch Battle of Changsha.

Similar age gaps but the stories are different with one being innocent and pure while the other is more sexual and introspective.

They are very similar productions. Both Royal harem comedies, of high quality (sadly too few eps) where the female lead does NOT have a high pitched voice or a completely vapid personality.

Both series are about housewives that hide their past of ex-agent/spy to their "ideal" husbands. Each episode is feature with them getting involved in helping different people using their flair and physical skills.

Both are about commoner rising to power. Becoming powerful and upright official and crushing bad people.

Both dramas have the same plot line... have great reviews and both have some terrific acting. it should be noted that Oh my ghost is a remake from the Kdrama Oh My Ghostess , and that is why they have the same plot line .

Both dramas have some comedy mixed with some mystery in the story. Both dramas have an annoying-rich-asshole of a male main character and an uncompetent-naive-too conscientious female character.

Same lead actors doing another lakorn together in this upcoming drama! I look forward to them reprising their great chemistry.

Plot looks a bit similar in both lakorns where one of the leads plays an actor/actress too so we can expect yet another "drama within a drama" :)
