Both dramas have strong female leads who have an emotional back story which leads their decisions of creating a fake mother relationship

Both are base on the famous novel : Les liaisons dangereuses from Pierre Choderlos de Laclos. The story was about a lord Xie Yifang who decided to seduce Du Fenyu , a widow who seems to be his uncle's granddaughter in order to win the bet he did with Miss Mo . Indeed she promised him that if he succeed in seducing Fenyu, she will be her woman for one night.
He thought Fenyu l was an easy goal yet it seems like she is different from other women. Finally, he made it, she is in love with him but what unexpected is the fact Xie Yifang falls for her too. You can see she was the first woman he truly love. Miss Mo seems to be jealous so she decided to trick him. At the end, they can't be together even if they know they were meant to be.
Actually it is an interesting story with a SE.
If you want to know more about the french version , I recommend you the manga version drawn by Chiho Saitou. But if you like french litterature you can read it .

While What's Up doesn't have any fantasy elements, I found that there were similar levels of intrigue, people keeping secrets from each other, trying to discover the past. I enjoyed both immensely.

Two persons who feel lost trying to comfort each other with skinship and learn because of each other how to go on with their life. In Kuzu no Honkai are just way more mentally damaged characters and it is more complex.

In both dramas the grandfather gives the female lead his inheritance and whoever married her gets it. However in Something About 1 Percent the female leads saves the grandfather. In Easy Fortune Happy Life the female lead's grandma saves the grandfather.

Both of the main male leads have health problems, to be exact, they can't communicate with other people properly. And the lead actress comes in to save the lonely prince with love and genuine feelings.

Both are about ex-journalists who become tabloid reporters and take on dangerous and controversial stories that may be involved in a broader conspiracy. Even though they have a different tone, both have comedy and mystery elements.

In Hap Ki Do, a woman fight to avenge her brothers, and in Onna Hissatsu Ken a woman fight to rescue her brother. The two women have strong physical skills and endurance to go most of the time against several tough opponents men.

Both films concern the topic of Korean comfort women in the second World War, although 'I Can Speak' also includes issues such as the treatment of the elderly in Korea.
The majority of the film time in 'Spirits' Homecoming' is set in the historical period and focuses primarily on the experiences of Korean comfort women in WW2. 'I Can Speak' on the other-hand is set in the present time and is therefore more concentrated on remembering and learning from the past events.
The genres of both films are also quite different. If you're up for something more lighthearted, 'I Can Speak' is the way to go. If not, just a warning...'Spirits' Homecoming' may be a little disturbing for some viewers as the raping scenes are quite violent and explicit (no full nudity shown however), and there are other violent scenes with killings and fighting.

Also with 3 older ladies as the mc. 3 different personalities but they are able to help each other figure out each of their lives. A little different from Iron Ladies is that fact that the characters in Fabulous 30 get more involved in their friends' lives where as in Iron Ladies, it is more emotional support than physical actions.
