Baron Chen and Megan Lai are the OTP in this drama as well. They become sworn blood brothers after ML's character helps him out in a fight. She has lived as a man for 25 years and can only live safely as a woman after her 26th year (according to a fortune teller her parents believed). It is pretty cheesy, but also fun and funny and sexy too. Full of very caring personalities.

Medical dramas. Both about doctors who risk everything to save their patients despite opposition from others. Both feature surgery scenes too. Both doctors persevere against all opposition.

A second season of Vampire Prosecutor, recommend you start with the first. The vamp is a prosecutor who uses his vamp abilities to help him solve crimes. There is a lot of bromance between him and the police detective on his team and a hint of romance with his junior prosecutor. In addition to the Crime of the Week, he's busy tracking down the big bad. It has a similar type of humor as Vampire Detective.

Vampire Detective is Vampire Prosecutor's dongsaeng. There are two seasons of Vampire Prosecutor that played on OCN. Everyone wants VP3, but that isn't going to happen. The vamp is a prosecutor who uses his abilities to help him solve crimes. There is a lot of bromance between him and the police detective on his team and a hint of romance with his junior prosecutor. In addition to the Crime of the Week, he's busy tracking down the big bad. It has a similar type of humor as Vampire Detective, but the prosecutor already knows he is a vamp, so you avoid the problems of self-discovery that Vampire Detective is showing (that is, there is a wanton lack of self-discovery so far!).

Both has a supernatural theme to it, also a rich guy falls in love with a poor girl. Rich guy with a tragic past, left with a horrible scar...pretty much the same concept.

There are many differences between the plots and characters, yet they share a number of enjoyable similarities. The action and plot are quick, entertaining sequences that are more prominently seen in Chinese/tawainese dramas, meaning they lack the typical refinement of Korean action. Side characters are largely used to overtly induce laughter with their exaggerated facial expressions and personalities. Both also feature a main male lead with mysterious ties to ancient times and unbelievable abilities. Watch these if you want something entertaining without being too heavy.

The female leads are similiar. If you like our Times you will enjoy The moveable Feast. It is very funny. The female lead is original & carefree.

Both have the same genre: romance and military - about love that grows under military situation.

Though 'King2Hearts' focuses more on politics & military, you can still feel the the strength of the love each character has. Meanwhile 'Descendants of the Sun' is more about the romance itself and also has the medical genre in it.

'King2Hearts' is about a South-Korean prince falling for a North-Korean soldier. Together they fight to keep their relationship while also trying to keep the peace between north and south.
In 'Descendants of the Sun' a female doctor struggles to have a relationship with a soldier from the special force.

While in 'Descendants of the Sun' we stillget comedy from time to time, it lessens in 'King2Hearts' as the situation becomes more serious.
