I've only seen up to Ep. 6 but the plot is story and characters are quite similar. FL is forced to marry cold rich guy. ML falls in love with FL first. ML tries everything to "control" or deceive FL.

Although the stories are drastically different, they have the same slow-burn, melodramatic ambience that centers around a love story.

They both have same genre, adapted from a novel, and are a historical fiction. Both dramas has two male leads that are the main focus of the story.

"Midsummer Is Full of Love" is an adaptation of the 2004 Korean drama "Full House".
They have the same story with few changes. Both have the story of a famous guy who buys the house of a lonely girl and they make a relationship contract to live in the same house. In the two dramas we have love triangles and the strong link between the protagonist and the house built by her father.

Similarities
-In both dramas the FL and ML have problems with their moms or absent mother
-Both deal with real topics of mental health
-Both have leads that known each other in childhood then reunite
-Both are about forming a family in the end

Both k-dramas:
-Are acted by popular k-idols.
-Highlights topics of the Kpop industry within young idols.
-Revolves around music (songs, choreographies, performances).
-Speaks on idol scandals, favouritism, saesang fans and secret relationships.

The FL is a short track speed skater, one of the MLs is a figure skater. The story is about sports and following one's dreams

-The titles are kinda similar
-both have comedy
-they both are mainly romance dramas
-both rom-coms
-FL is a strong minded person
-ML is a person with a goal and direction

A ordinary MC with a mysterious past on the hunt for people that have kidnapped their loved ones, in No mercy's case a sister and Unstopabble his wife. A must watch if you liked either show.

This is another drama that introduces on the japanese traditional arts and at the same time carefully weaving the various character's life story into it as well.

This is a remake of the 2007 version. The MLs in both versions did a fantastic job in portraying the character of the vengeful Tor. I like the Min in the 2019 than the old one. All in all both versions are exciting to watch.

-The first one has a male lead with a artificial heart and another in an AI.
-Both have supportive female leads.
-Both female leads have "bad luck" in their career.
-Knows each other from the past.
-Though there are past unfortunate events the female leads are optimistic bringing a ray of hope in the male leads lives.

The CGI is done by the same person who did the CGI for HDL.

At First, Both male leads dont believe in spirits, Yeo Jin Goo is a ghost seeing male lead as Jung Yong Hwa is a psychic.
Kang Hong Suk is a supporting role in both, in HDL, he is a grim reaper, while in SYHH, he is the chief and male lead's bestie

Both dramas have a very similar setting and vibe. The female lead is a journalist in both, while the two male leads are a prosecutor and a lawyer, who have gone to college together and have prejudice against each other. In both they have a magical way to know and change the future, which they try to use to solve cases and prevent deaths. The chemistry between the main leads is also similar, a bit goofy and heart-warming.

The plot synopsis is nearly identical:
- Both have a fox demon male lead trying to cultivate their powers through a bead
- Both involve the female lead accidentally consuming the bead
- Both male leads end up living with the female lead to try and get the bead back
- Both involve the female lead potentially dying from the bead if it gets removed/stays in her body for too long
