Both the Japanese film and the Korean drama are about working hard towards academic success against all odds.

Both dramas are centered around incredibly strong, independent women living their lives and overcoming obstacles in their twenties. They are both romantic comedies, which are quite enjoyable to watch

They are similar in that they have a teacher and student living together secretly. My little bride they are actually married through an arranged marriage.

They both have cohabitation as a theme, Hotaru no Hikari is about a woman and her boss secretly living together due to various circumstances. They also both have romances develop due to living together and caring for each other.

They have same premise guys can’t remember accuses of a crime. And a cop desperate to solve case will do anything.

-Both couples are loyal to each other
-Both have leads that feel guilty because of actions of a parent leading to the death of the other main leads parents
-Both dramas have journalists as secondary antagonists
-Both dramas have similar themes revolving around family, justice and revenge

-Heroine tries to deny her feelings for her new lover and avoids him by any means
-Heroine's boyfriend / husband doesn't pay any attention to her anymore

FL = spunky, hard-working, lower income with a very sophisticated palate
ML = wealthy, award-winning chef with cold exterior
context = decadent and delicious food!!!! lots of flashbacks

differences: much more manipulative scheming in DD and quirky musical number in TPM

not quite similar but can say it's great. wuxia stuff thrills, one diffrence is that it's not quidte romantic b-ut

Both are pretty much the same in that they both tell stories of the macabre and creepy. Neither are really too scary and both are told in an anthology format- each episode is a different story with no connection to the other.

Both have operations with transplants. Both have a main character who cares deeply about patients. Both have a reasonable numbers of operations. One is more about revenge (cross), but overall both have elements like corruption and all.
Two must watch for who likes the genre.

Once again, deep and meaningful characters and stories.

It's like no other drama really.

Poignant and beautiful.

Both stories had the same kind of impact. Both are about universal truths of love and heartbreak and give you meaningful life lessons. Both are complex stories about complex people. There are no shallow, typical characters or dialogs.
