Action, Romance, Mystery. These two dramas have it all. There are fighting sequences, suspense, and not to mention it is interesting to see how old kdramas were filmed. Damo is from 2003 and still holds up, that is if you can see past the exaggerating Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon combat. Same goes for Chuno, from 2010; although these dramas are fairly old, I still found them enjoyable to watch in 2019.

Both are Japanese dramas who deal with swindlers and their victims. Both have one or more lead character(s) that has some kind of trauma from their past.
Sagideka is more focused on swindlers that use phone calls to trick people

Both funny and quirky, but underneath that fun charm is real depth and meaningful
RELATABLE realistic conversations.

Both have multiple couples and friendships.

Both some of the best dramas I've EVER WATCHED, with LoveShuffle being in my Top2 of favorite dramas of all time.

Both have very meaningful, very RELATABLE conversations/dialogues;

such beautiful conversations about life problems that make both a must watch!

Time is a melodrama (that still has some very realistic and relatable moments); BeMelodramatic is more slice of life.

Both have same feeling,
realistic + heartwarming,
multiple relationships and friendships in focus

dialogue-centered dramas with meaningful dialogues about problems in life

Nevermind that one is a 90s jdrama, if you love one you'll love the other, very much recommended to watch both in that case.

If you loved the quirky writer female lead Chun Woo Hee in BeMelodramatic...

.....you'll also love her also quirky character in the movie One Day!

Both BM and OD are very heartfelt and realistic (despite the sort of ghost aspect in One Day), that while happy and calming, will also make you cry in some parts
