Both dramas are school themed, have a smart, introverted (AND HANDSOME ;D) male lead and a cute, not-very-intelligent female lead who is outgoing. Both leads from both dramas live next to each other and the male lead doesnt like the female lead at the beginning however he eventually grows a liking for the female lead. Both are youthful, funny and romantic so if you like A Love So Beautiful check out The Big Boss season 1 and 2 :)

Both are somehow romance stories, but pretty different than normally (main characters are kind of similiar too).
While Drowning Love is about two of the same age but a different "kind of life" and focuses more on the path the main girl takes (after moving to the country side),
Hot Road focuses on a kind of "forbidden" love story between a 14 and a 16 year old. It's more about the difficulties they have together.

Both are Gender-Benders. Girl fights for acceptance and falls in love. Coffee Prince has common life theme, while You're Beautiful has a idol romance theme.

These two dramas are nearly identical at times, but I feel that Kaew Lorm Petch is the better version, although it's tone darker and has a much more satisfying ending.

At first those two storylines doesn't seem very much alike, however if you take a look they are pretty similar:

Extremely shy girl gets some kind of help from an entity, who possess their body thus changing their personality and actions completely. However, in Dear Prince it's actually a guy who's the ghost and the story is based on the entertainment industry.

Although set in different periods (one historical, one present), both dramas are about women dedicated to traditional japanese cooking.
It is no complicated premise, but both series manage to make it appealing through good acting (especially by the two leading women) and a warm, lighthearted atmosphere without getting too simple or annoyingly repetetive.

Mohouhan and Confession of Murder have different plot but they have some similar things too, for examples: a serial killer, a book, and how mass media was involved in the case.

Both shows have the same kind of premise about people being inside a game. Kenny Kwan also stars in both.
