Both are epic jidaigeki Samurai movies. Both movies are very similar....................................................................................
Both dramas tell interesting, warm and beautiful story about young girl, who is looking for her identity and the meaning of her life. Short, deep dramas.
Both shows are similar because:
-in healer he male lead pretends to be a geek when he is secretely a fighter. He protects the female lead.
-in mook liam petch, the female lead also has a double identity: she is a secretary which kinda acts like a retard, and her second identity is an agent. She is a badass. She protects the male lead.
-both series contain action and romance. MLP is more comedy based though.

The vibes of this show are similar. Other similarities include:
1. Song Chang Eui is the male lead in both
2. Both have an adopted daughter helping with the family business while under the threat of a long lost step-sister
3. Forced marriages, betrayal and intense makjang
Highly recommend both!

Both are about two of greatest mangakas. Both are very similar...............................................
Both Mistress and Circle have mystery and always leave you wondering what's next. Both have parts of the future and past shown before the conclusion. The characters are good and well-developed, smart and sharp. They work together and have interesting and great relationships.
Both have depictions of serious social issues women face in society
Both have Indifferent/cold ML who has a soft spot for FL
ML and FL know each other from their past and are reunited
Both are incredibly well made and enjoyable

Whilst The Smile Has Left Your Eyes is only four episodes in, I wanted to share this recommendation because I genuinely am getting so many reminders of Hello Monster (also called I Remember You) whilst watching this. I shall now list some similarities as well as differences without spoiling either the dramas.
SIMILARITIES
• Seo In Guk plays the main lead in both dramas
• They both have a dark undertone and lots of mystery
• Circled around police investigations and wrongful accusations
• Brilliant and talented cast
• Crimes which are tangled up with the main leads and their lives
• Both of Seo In Guk's characters have that sort of 'dark aura of mystery' but are soft babies on the inside whom we all must protect <333
DIFFERENCES
• The Smile Has Left Your Eyes clearly involves romance into its plot whilst you see this much less in Hello Monster. There is a bit of romance in the latter drama but it does not tangle into the plot quite like the former.
• The female leads are completely different in personality and careers.
• Hello Monster's plot is more heavily based on crimes and the police. Whilst this is seen in The Smile Has Left Your Eyes it is not as prominent.
Both are magnificent dramas which I both thoroughly enjoyed. I have high hopes for the rest of The Smile Has Left Your Eyes and once I have finished it, I will edit this post with my preference and reasoning (which will have both a spoiler and spoiler-free version).

Both of them are magical or unnatural love story. It is appropriate for people who likes abstract yet modern plot. It involves teen-age stories. People who love to watch short drama or web series will find the plot interesting. Hope the review is helpful. ????
Both are time travel comedic fantasies where a present-day student is magically transported back into the Warring States period and into the life of an important but not famous person from history, and realize they have a mission to help this person.
The plot is a bit similar (not too much), but overall mood is very-very similar. If you'd liked one of these dramas I'd bet you'd enjoy another.
Same lead actor, both workplace based romances. Lead is cold hearted (but totally not cold hearted) CEO in both. Romance very sweet in both.
Office romance category - Chinese version. Both have male boss & female employee relationship.
You know the flow....Cold guy acts as ‘cool’ boss at first, hides his emotions, then relentless pursues the girl & both fall in love. Then, they get together & ‘hide’ relationship from the others. Then, everyone finds out later on. Then, some dramas here & there. Then, happy ending.

Series of Love, loss and betrayal. Amazing acting, characters and main plot. Main leads relationships are heartfelt and emotional to the core. As the story unfolds you cant help to not fall in love with this drama.
Both based on true events of The Rape of Nanking, 1937.
This certainly isn't an easy film to watch (*warning*: graphic rape scenes) but it's an important look into a period of history that deserves to be recognized by more people.
