The Thai version of the manga 'Itazura na kiss'... if you loved Yuki's and Honoka chemistry then you'll love Mikes and Aom's chemistry

Both of them are a slice-of-life kind of dramas. Age of youth focuses on 5 girls and college life, whereas Reply 1988 focuses on the children growing up (and experiencing their first love) as well as the family members. Both are slow paced, and detail orientated. It is definitely the smallest things that touch you the most. The music is also subtle and fitting. Characters in both shows have a lot of depth and show a lot of character growth.
Many life lessons to learn in both.
Overall the pace, genre, direction/cinematography (revealing details a bit at a time), music and feel of the two shows are similar.

Both dramas take place in a university setting and have a slice-of-life feeling. Although Age of Youth follows the everyday lives of a group of girls, one of the main girls resembles the female lead in Cheese in the Trap (in terms of being timid but not weak).

Both has similar character leads. A cheerful-eccentric-careless female character and handsome-genius-cold male character.

Both have charismatic gang leaders swooning over the pure and innocent damsel. Very unrealistic but oh so fun to watch!

Both are about a group of girls trying to find their way in lives:

-imo i loved age of youth more just because it had so many underlying themes, it was realistic, and it wasn't cheesy. i just loved it so much.

-4 girls who try to achieve their dreams
-all girls have love lives
-slice of life drama


both are similar, but age of youth just has that special touch to it.

Same story line sort of. Poor girl gets saved by odd older man who is amazed by her for some odd reason. Signs a contract to bring the family together or she gets kicked out of the house. She has to live with a group of attractive men but can't date any of them. Both are super odd and funny with a bit of seriousness and real issues thrown in

The main leads are both eccentric fellows that make use of their exceptional skills of deduction.
For Galileo, his profession is a physics professor and so answers cases with scientific reasoning while for
Himura Hideo, his profession is a criminologist professor and so answers cases with psychological reasoning associated with criminology.
Episodic cases in each dramas are interesting and mind-blogging, some may be predictable but nevertheless enjoyable.

The main characters are similar, they are both psychopaths and can't feel complex emotions but try to imitate them to blend in the society.

The female lead in both of them have similar personalities.
Also both stories have the same feel and are full of misunderstandings.

Both are going to make you think about life, choices and dreams. Both are going to make you laugh and cry. Be prepared!

Both are about angel that appeared and keep lingering the main lead. The angel leads them to achieve their love.

Mars is one of my all time favourites. Bad boy x Good girl trope. Motorsicles play a big role and the mothers of the female protoganists wont win best parent anytime soon. Epic romance feel.

Both follow the bad boy x good girl trope and involve gangs. They also have some melodrama in it and problems with a missing parent figure. Epic romance feeling.
