Both are gender-bender dramas set in the music industry.
- Sompong Non Somchai is a lakorn, meaning a drama from thailand. It's about two girls forced to work for a music company as spys for the police. They have to dress up as men to pass off as male dancers.
- Ikemen Desu Ne is a japanese drama about a girl posing as her brother, who is A*N*Jell group new singer. Remake of the kdrama You're Beautiful.

They have a similar genre and comedic themes. Both great movies!
Gender-bender lakorns.

Although this two dramas have very different premise, they have a lot in common.
- for starters they both meet on campus and the romance starts there
- secondly both leads have an activity they enjoy which brings them together and even closer, in the case of love o2o, it video game but in a good way, it's treasure hunting.
- in both drama, both leads have a group of very fun, very interesting, very loyal friends who are always there for them wether it's to educate them about romance or just tease them about it.
- in both drama, although the female lead has an admiration for the male lead for longer, it's the male lead who starts having romantic feelings first and who goes after the girl first indirectly by talking online wether it be with the game characters or online chatting and she kinda falls for the online character before she realizes who he is and then he goes after her in person too.
- in both, the male lead is smart, and athletic and is the most sort after guy in school, they also both play basket ball and are from an influential family. Either professors/writers/archeologist/historian or politician.
-in both cases, the male lead tries to make a name for himself away from his parents although in a good way, the parents are not supportive while the parents in love o2o let do what he wants.
- both female leads aren't ditzy and helpless but are very intelligent, very good in the activity they share with the male lead, independent, and can stand up for themselves and for those they love often pulling the male leads and his friend into their shenanigans,
I bet I could find more similarities but I m going to stop here, but I would advice to watch both dramas if you haven't because they re both interesting.

Both movies are focused mainly on the male lead who's a psychopath. Most scenes are gruesome and some scenes are mature in both movies..
Both stories are revenge based dramas. Also the male and female leads knew each other when they were younger and also the parent of the female lead is the bad guy..
In both the movies the male leads are ordered to kill a woman by their boss, but they're unable to do so and so they do what they can to protect the woman.
FLU and TRAIN TO BUSAN revolve about the spread of infection.
Both having a child as a cast, making both films..should I say dramatic? Yeah, dramatic, full of emotions actually.
Ma Dong Seok is in both films, playing antagonist on THE FLU and a real hero in TRAIN TO BUSAN. You'll surely get to hate and love this man!
The finale of both films are really similar to each other. (Don't want to spoil.)

Both are supernatural dramas that feature a lively dead girl and a male lead who can see ghosts and their fun and (of course) dramatic romance. I know some people avoid historical dramas as a rule, but Arang and the Magistrate is too fun to pass up and is something even those who swear against historical dramas can enjoy.
Both have a perfect balance of drama and comedy and keep you entertained for the whole ride.

both has a similar story with a poor girl completing tasks in order to earn money by living under the same roof as a group of brothers who are potential heirs of a rich man. Even the first task of making all of the brothers/cousins to eat together as a family is similar. Both has the girl having a mysterious background which will be revealed towards the end of the drama. The Korean version is more drama with some comedy while the Japanese version is more comedy than drama.
The plots are quite interrelated and you will surely cry in this one as well.
Quirky characters, creepy cases, similar off-beat and dark atmosphere. Both also have male x female duo with great chemistry
They both give off a similar feeling. I find resemblances between ji woon and hanazawa rui, but also between hyun min and domyouji. The storyline is somewhat similar as well.
