They have the same realistic but comedic feeling. Both deal with the struggles of korean youth/young adults and the main male leads are anti-social.

"The Genius" is a korean variety show in which celebrities who are known for their wit compete in tasks that are very similar to the ones in "Liar Game".

Both are about logical thinking, formed aliances and betrayals.

The storyline's premise is similar in that the main characters also travel back in time, ending up in college again while retaining all the memories of their previous lives. Hence, although they are in their twenties, their mental age is much older than those of their peers. With the knowledge and hindsight of their own futures, they are given a chance to rewrite their own narratives and change their fates.

Both are law dramas where the main character will do anything to win their case. The main characters in both can be considered deplorable and selfish, but are also very strong and confident. Witch's Court is more about sexual assault crimes, while Legal High has a variety of cases.

The two dramas are similar for the double meaning of the piano for the leads, and because in both the mother is a teacher of piano.
In "Page Turner" the characters vehemently desire to be professional pianists someday, so sometimes playing the piano is torture for them, even though they're still in love with it. While in "Piano," the instrument symbolizes for the characters their days of happiness, and at the same time the nostalgia for a time that will not return.
