If you like Jin Mai in AASOL, you will like her in TPR. She has that same natural style and sense of humor that you see in AASOL. The couples in both dramas have great chemistry.

both are quite realistic especially considering how they reach their endings. it is just life being messy and complicated. how timing and the level of understanding one another in a relationship can affect it in many ways.

ML is a self centered time traveler who marries FM to avoid a future accident that they are both involved in, a slow burn romance as they learn to deal with his powers

In both series, the main male character can see ghosts, he helps the ghosts reach bliss. Furthermore, the main character has a couple of ghost friends who help him, this is also the case in both series.

The main story of this series is different, but similarities occur because the main characters waited more than 100 years to meet each other again.

the idea of poison and transfer of it was very creatively used in Butterflied Lover. Double Life is not about the same thing but uses the main character's dilemma with the poisoned beloved...

Despite the main plot difference, Umi no hajimari's first 2 episodes (I love ep 2 btw) reminded me of the plot of Ano Ko no Kodomo since both are about having the same troubles of unexpected pregnancy.

Both deals with LGBTQ relationships where one of the lead dies.
In "Dear ex " the died person has written a will where all his properties goes to his lover .This leads to quarrels between the wife and the lover.
In Paradise of thorns ,the property goes to the mother of the diseased.This leads to quarrels between the lover and the mother .paradise of thorns is set to release on aug 22 .I will make additions then.my observations are based on the trailer for paradise of thorns

The pining, the long term crushes but inability to confess, the pain of wanting to move on but the inability to do so, the miscommunication, one leaving abroad, the pain of someone making you wait for years. Also there are pretty silly things in common, eiw and dao have quite a lot of people interested in them, the time skip from high to uni even thiugh the focus is different, kluea and cake both had a gf, while eiw and dao may have suffered a lot throughout, kluea and cake fall hard when they fall in love and both seem hnable to clmmunciate while everyone else has understood the bond and love

Male lead has a disability and as a result harbors lots of insecurity that female lead heals. It has an emphasis on psychological concepts using it in a diegetic manner to assess/analyze the characters.

'Jewel in the Palace' is set in the royal palace of Joseon era Korea, where Traditional Oriental Medicine is the default form of healthcare prescribed by royal physicians.

'Let me Take Your Pulse' is set in modern Hong Kong (2023), where Traditional Oriental Medicine must work alongside Western Medicine, with different regulatory and political restrictions.

Both dramas explore the lives of medicine practitioners and their journey of healing others.
