Random Fun Fact:
Jing Jing, an actress and Song San Chuan, a professional athlete have more similarities in their work nature than we think in principle. This is highlighted in a conversation between Alex and Liang You An in Nothing But You. One of the main job as a manager of professional athletes is to create a star. When see from this lens, there is a certain level of persona and public image to create for professional athlete and actor/ actress. SSC’s portfolio of work is his competition and results while JJ’s portfolio is her show and fans receptivity.

- Both are detective / solve cases genres. Though set in different eras, the logic of the plots are well thought through with watertight logic

Both FL and ML are assassins and hide their identity in the first part of their marriage. They both work for the same organization and FL is tasked with killing ML which she thinks the easiest way to accomplish is to marry him and thereby entering his mansion. It is also a romance since the two of them fall in love with each other.

Both have a fantasy-human aspect with warring clans. The set is gorgeous. The costumes are AMAZING!! I was never bored watching this.
Both are knight-themed tokusatsu series producted by Toei. While they don't share the exact same class of knigths (King-Ohger goes more to the royalty side), they have the sabe vibe with the sword fights and the use of their respective swords to transform.
Both are knight-themed series in the Super Sentai franchise (although King-Ohger is more into the side of royalty). They are also directed by Kazuya Kamihoriuchi.
Both are comedies with a male duo and a great cast list and plots. With MIU404, it's slightly more serious, yet it's still a comedy (at least the beginning is) and like Dangerless Detectives, the 'real' story doesn't start until around halfway through. MIU404 has more and longer episodes so there is more depth to the characters and their backgrounds, as well as having more time to explore various stories. Though a bit different, both shows are great with good acting and screenwriting.
Both have an eccentric male lead and sensible female lead duo (99.9 is slightly more centered on the male duo) Both are comedies and are roughly the same length, yet the themes behind both shows are different (Legal high: Wanting to win every case, 99.9: Trying to find the truth)
ISWAK is way older obviously so only watch it if you can see beyond the *aesthetics*. So, how are they similar? We get to follow the cute but academically inferior FL and the serious, uber smart ML through high school and on. Lots of dorky, heartwarming, silly characters surround them. Friendships, hard work, misunderstandings. Down to earth, slice of life.
Both are mini dramas in which the FL is betrayed and wronged by the man she loves, leading to her fighting back.
