Both dramas have a similar dynamic between the main couples - the FLs are in a position of higher power but her life is constantly at risk and there is no one she can trust, and the MLs are her devoted bodyguards with a secret royal identity.

Both dramas are about arranged marriage, first love (first wife) that returns, the male lead is constantly putting a female lead as second priority or even forgetting on her / missing dinner date, theatre date... But the love between them is just growing...
Both dramas focus on the challenges faced by smart women in competitive, cutthroat workplaces, and both have a good romance that isn't the main point of the drama.
"Love between Fairy and Devil" together with "Alchemy of Souls" are the best dramas of the season, they are not exactly the same, they both have great OSTs, but they also share the theme of an impossible love story set in a magical world.
