Both dramas have a girl who encounters a tragic accident on the train, therefore, causing the fake identity. There's the 2 guys n 1 girl thingy. Love hate relationship!! Epic period dramas!!

Both hold that mysterious, vendetta type of storyline while both also try to stop from loving a girl that is somehow or another connected to the person who they're trying to get revenge on. Both are very wonderful and have great actors!

I'd say this is kinda like the adult version of Kamisama. Same atmosphere and everything.

Personally, I think it has the same vibe: Teenagers, survival, blood shed.

They both have very strong male leads. The female leads are different but the persona and air and carriage of the male lead is so similar and endearing.

Cheong Song Yi from YWCFTS is very similar to the female lead in MND and this is noticeable from the get go. It's almost like one inspired the other. However, there is no Do Min Joon personality in the male lead. He'd like to think that he is a Do Min Joon because his character is motivated by an intrinsic desire to be alone like Do Min Joon but for very different reasons.

However, they are alike in that they both have overtly outgoing females come into the lives of solitude seeking males and just throw their world apart and make them realize what they were missing.

It seems like Adolescence Medley was inspired by Reply 1997, it has a similar past-to-present story format. Both have cute love stories and sucker the audience into a false nostalgia. R'97 is more silly and fun, while A.M is artistic and sweet. I promise both are worth watching.

Both dramas have a male lead that is almost perfect and too good to be true and paired with a prickly self centered career oriented female lead.
If you like the good guy who wear their hearts on their sleeves instead of the usual bad guy lead, then both these dramas is for you. Just be prepared to get you heart broken as your heart hurts for the male leads as their love and sacrifices for the female lead gets overlooked time and time again.

Basically they are just the same. Group of boys, who joined a certain sport half heartedly, but ended up being very serious on doing it.
Both are comedy(but waterboys is funnier IMO)
Both have sexy teacher
Both shows the beauty of friendship.
A very inspiring story if you are into sports.
