Both are Thai BL dramas with a lower budget and quite underrated but still enjoyable to watch between other series. Plus, both of them have some good LGBT support moments that I really liked :)

In both films an innocent man is subjected to physical abuse during a police interrogation. Though there is evidence of his innocence, police continue to try and pin him for the crime.

the main cast is weak but very clever. intrigue and politics, love and hate, when love has to face loyalty to country, fillial piety, and urge to revenge

Similar plot points but different angles on story and character developments. Both dramas are filmed really well with a great story of love and personal development. The lead actors do a really good job of protraying their characters.

both had that unexpected familyhoodness. basically both start with people who share nothing and also have nothing but they just click as if they're each other's missing piece uwu

ML in Shopping King Louie is rich (but loses his memory)

Both are light fluffy romcoms with lots of cute moments

ML in Shopping King Louie becomes much nicer and adorably cute (and a bit stupid) after he loses his memory but is the brooding type before then.

Both are about webtoons

W is about the FL going into the webtoon and then meeting the ML whilst True Beauty is a webtoon itself.

Both have bright cinematography and are fairly light romcoms

Both involve MLs that are quite stoic at first

Both involve affairs and a missing child

Both have issues between the married couple and one being unfaithful

Both have other individuals helping the leads

Both in the crime/mystery/ thriller genre

Secret Mother doesn't have communication between past and future

both are Webtoons and take place in school! The Main Boy Character is a bad/cool boy and the girl is a good actress. I recommend this one 100/10 :-)

I recommend this with some reservations because these dramas are quite different from each other in terms of what the main story is focused on (politics vs. action). However, people who particularly enjoyed the martial arts elements and bromance between Bangji and Moohyul in Six Flying Dragons, will likely be interested in Warrior Baek Dong Soo. For someone who enjoyed Warrior Baek Dong Soo, Six Flying Dragons is another historical drama with exciting martial arts face offs and friendship-rivalry relationships, but it also has a stronger political plot and more thematic depth.
