- Both male leads have drastic appearance changes as they appear more handsome when they grew up, thus looks/appearance is one of the main theme in both dramas
- Both leads knew each other when they were children
- There is a boss and employee relationship in both dramas
- Both male leads are rich
- When they met up again after years, in both dramas, the leads start off on the wrong foot.

It's a VERY tentative suggestion, but both dramas rely quite a bit on dark humour which I've up till now found quite rarely in Korean dramas.
The plotlines though are completely different.

I Picked up a Star on the Road is about a young woman accidentally hitting a famous actor (while trying to take revenge on her boss) and thinking she has killed him. This makes her take his body home to find a way to dispose of it...but the actor is still alive and the 'attempted murder' turns into a kidnapping.
Sadly, IPSR turns into a more classic rom-com after episode 5, but till then it's a very funny and unconventional (for Korean standards) dark comedy.

Psychopath Diary is about a mid-30s man who's a timid pushover losing his memory and coming to believe he's actually a cold-blooded serial killer.
Psychopath Diary has no romance (barely some minimum elements), but the humour is more consistent than in IPSR and I generally found it a superior drama overall.

Its really similar main character and the team are really handsome. Great to watch and really exciting.

Academically disinclined girl crushes on guy genius and eventually even chooses a career to be closer to him.
Very similar vibes and light hearted romance.

Both are realistic family dramas about a family that has become distant over the years and bringing the family back together again. Both families have a similar family dynamic (a father with one daughter and two sons).

I wrote this recommendation after completing episode 12 of Confession where there's a big plot twist which I bet many didn't expect. There was also a major plot twist somewhere in episode 8 or something (I don't quite remember). This quality of screenwriting reminds me highly of The Crowned Clown, where the good and bad guys are continuously cancelling each other's chess moves and keeping the viewers hooked in. I rate The Crowned Clown a perfect 10, so you can imagine the quality of screenwriting in Confession when I compare both of them this way.

- SML has negative shades
- Both leads are the reason for existence of each other.
- FL is fated to die...
- Side Characters have good storylines
- one or two characters prevent events from deviating certain "rules"

- FL and ML have an Ajusshi type of love
- ML goes back and forward about his feelings for FL
- There is a lot of bromance...
- The way Both Leads speak and react looks similar...
But both dramas are completely different genre, have different aesthetic appeal, and different storyline..

Both dramas have male leads with torturous pasts in different ways that fall in love with women that see the goodness in them but they push them away to protect them from their perceived corruption of their lives and hearts. Both male leads have shady pasts that they try to overcome to become the best version of themselves to feel worthy of the women they love for they are the light to their darkness.

Reminders has the characters that are related to love by chance and it’s the prequel to love by chance.

There is just one catch, however—as payment for carrying out such a request, the user must condemn themselves to an afterlife in hell.

The romance part in this drama is giving a same vibe where the female lead chase the male lead first. In go go squid, the female lead is more intelligent and capable. If u love playful kiss, please give try to watch this drama!
