I've chosen Love Online: Extra (2017) being similar to One in a Hundred drama series because of the bromance between the main leads. Living together in luxury condo has lead the public into believing they are lovers. Also, both stories have one lead as an idol in the entertainment industries.

In both the dramas, the female lead pretends to be a guy and they seem to earn the respect of their peers gradually . To the beautiful you is school based whereas Arsenal Military Academy as the name suggests is military based.

Both set in the near future, advanced technology that interacts with and changes the human experience in different ways.

Dystopian fiction.

Both Youtube dramas free for all to watch, I really recommend both short dystopian series.

There are many similarities between the two plots. In Extraordinary You, the female lead finds out that she’s in a comic world where she’s a supporting character with less time to live. Meanwhile, in Romance of Tiger And Rose, the female lead is a screenwriter who accidentally somehow gets stuck in her own script world where, like Extraordinary You, she’s also a supporting character with less time to live.

both have characters named zero-one/01. also there is kamen rider actor so if you are a fan of kamen rider then this is the toku for you.

3 of the main casts - yukee, yunxi and ting wei are part of the 2nd leads in ashes of love and yukee's and ting wei's character in ashes of love are a couple

- both are light-hearted and the romance between the leads are extremely cute
- gives me the same vibes when watching both of them

The newest adaptation of the novel with Oguri Shun and Miyazawa Rie in the main lead roles. Directed by Ninagawa Mika who took on projects such as Sakuran promise to deliver a very pleasing watch.

Both won many international film awards. Both have many layers of meaning. Beautifully make. Leave viewers sink into deep process of thinking thoughts. Forever remember the film

If you liked the actor that plays Cai Yasi, here is another one of his projects. (In this drama, he is also a second lead though so sorry to disappoint.)

And for those others who don't like Cai Yasi, this drama is just something you would enjoy, in my opinion, if you liked "The Love Equations".

The main lead also go through a love patch (for those who like the mild heartbreak in the middle of the serie)

marriage that happen due certain circumstances and the couple start fall in love with each other during the marriage period.. both series deal with secrets that the female lead need to solve and overcome. female lead in both series are very independent and have strong character.
