Amazing and awesome…just like joy of life …for a change women have some real badass kung fu
Another amazing series and I have become a fan of the screen writer, director and Zhang ruochan….So far things I liked
1. Not like a regular army plot twist where there is forever romance or sacrifice left and right in the name of country, love etc…
2. Hero & the characters actions speak louder ….intelligence is making me smile and watch it …
not like the sissy guys trying hard to win the affection of ladies around all the time or sissy hero depending on friends to do the most work
3. Kung fu actions scenes overall is top notch…no fighting for hours when the same can be shown in quality in min…and the scenes for the ladies are top notch… ladies characters are not Barbie dolls getting freebies and affections and another striking thing is that almost all of them look great
The other top tv shows that I love are
1. Evernight season 1 and 2/ Joy of life season 1
3. Demigod & semi devil / condor trilogy / deer cauldron
8. Ancient detective / Duoluo continent / Word of honor /Untamed

Enjoyable romantic comedy with eye candy leads and cute maltese
Castle in the Time is a very enjoyable romantic drama comedy. I love the male and female leads Zhang Zhe Han and Park Min Young! They are both eye candies and their acting is very natural! Being a dinosaur lover, I also love the palaeontologist element in the show. The little Maltese Xiao Jun Jun is also extremely adorable. Now only into the 5th episode, expect more and more exciting twists and turns to the storyline! Go watch if you have not yet done so yet! It is now showing on Japan's LaLaTV and will also be showing on SkyPerfect TV and Thailand's Monomax! Was this review helpful to you?

Terrible Ending In My Room
Overall: I watched the first 3 and half episodes and the last episode (cut version). Very disappointed at the ending.Content Warnings: kind of attempted self harm/suicide - it's complicated, character death, horror, watching someone without their permission
What I Liked
- there was some stunning cinematography for example in the beginning with the light behind the characters, nice color scheming, music contributes to the mood
- the intro drawing/animation sequence
- the kiss in the final episode was well done
Room For Improvement
- in the cut version, there is zero explanation why Phob didn't turn into an evil ghost?!?
- Phob was too gutless to say goodbye to Phat (but then they did say goodbye, I have no idea why/how that came about)
- time skip and 50ish year old Phat says he married a woman but it didn't work out, he's dying of cancer and his mom died...then Phat and Phob reunite after Phat's death
- free version cuts out parts and it felt choppy in many places

many faces of booooring
First of all, it's a lakorn, so expect all crazy things, like vile women fighting over guys, complicated marriages with first wife, second wife, mistress' son etc, the "pure" girl who rises from poverty through marriage and - of course - her own abilities etc etc.You can throw stones if you want, but i find the child actor totally cringe, he is a plump child and supposedly cute for being so, but guess what? He is not. His hair cut above the eyes doesnt help either... And he reaaally doesnt compensate these with talent! Whose child is he anyway? Also, casting a fat child as the "bad kid" in school is totally wrong, but i guess no one cares, since so many things are wrong in lakorns...
Our ML is handsome, though not particularly charismatic, and so is the FL, who needs to be saved several times per hour, either fainting or tripping into the arms of the two brothers, or bumping into them while they are shirtless! She must be very lucky too, after her first drinking night to get preg with a handsome billionaire, and later having the rich CEO coincidentally popping everywhere - totally charmed by her qualities: (you can start a list here - make sure to add "smiling with all her teeth").
(Still) watching for the craziness.

They make a nice couple both perfect match .
for a long eps I'm feeling kind of bored sometimes so i prefer to read the synopsis at first .
36 of eps with 30 minutes duration plus 36.5 special eps ( at the ends finale together even only in spirit form its really fine <3 ) . besides the 2nd leads act their natural way make it more interesting
China always be beautiful . some dramas for stress relieve so Will keep support #bambizhu #dylanwang

Far better than expected. Can't take my eyes off the fight scenes & interactions with the male leads
This is my first review I'm leaving for a Chinese drama....and my oh my, I did not expect to write this. Like at all. I thought this show was rly dry but NOW I'M OBSESSED(Spoilers only for ep.1)
(Also I'm a drama noob so this isn't speaking so much from experience but more so from an enjoyment factor)
At first, I put this on as background noise whilst focusing on my uni work, and the first episode sure didn't sell me. I barely glanced at it no more than 5 times, until our MC started putting on his face disguise, which I was like Oh, that's pretty neat. But before that, nothing rly interested me. I told my friend who asked that it was boring. LOL HOW WRONG I WAS
I had no idea what was happening but by episode 3 I was definitely not doing my uni work anymore. The two male leads completely got me absorbed and the acting is actually really mesmerising. Ep 1 and 2's CG was pretty subpar and had a few questionable moments but the fighting choreography from Ep 3 and onwards was surprisingly great and well shot, dynamic and just super cool. And it only got better and better, as soon as the show moved onto the two male leads (literally by the end of Ep.2 it's all about them) I was watching 80% netflix and 20% work....and now at Ep. 10 I've completely given up the concept of getting any work done whatsoever whilst I have this on ???? It's brilliant. It's actually brilliant.
And I may have just spoiled myself big time because I decided to go back and properly watch Episode 1 to finally understand the entire premise and plot of the show.... Let's just say my jaw is on the floor right now and I'm writing this review cause goddamn this just took the entire thing to the next level.... Maybe for me it's a bit more on the shock factor since I had no clue of the identity of either male leads for 10 frigging episodes ?? and just after learning one backstory I think I realised who the second male lead is and I really can't cope ??
All in all it's just getting so good and I was so wrong about this show. The first episode is actually good too, it's just that I didn't care enough to pay attention ? Now I know what a dumb move that was. Excited to finish Episode 10 and follow along the growing plot. It has solid world-building and dynamics, sure lots of generic tropes but all in all super interesting and I can say I'm totally hooked ??
Loving the 'eye acting' of the 'second' lead Gong Jun, like the ever so subtle wavering of his eyes conveys volumes and I replayed it a few times. Great eye expressions ? and Zhang ZheHan is a cutie lolol he lowkey looks similar to my ult. bias Mark Lee from NCT haha
The music could defo be worked on, the first ending song is rly ? Not it, but I'm enjoying the main theme/the opening.
DEFINITELY WORTH A REWATCH. In fact I'll be re-watching the entire thing once I finish it ?

The male lead cannot love a regular woman; instead, he must love the female lead, who is abnormal, and has to act as a man for eighteen years before she can truly become a woman. Also the 2Ml fail in love with her.
In the FL case, she is not a man or a woman.. It's also abnormal that someone would become attached to this kind of person. Other than that, I can perceive that this has a gay theme. Please respect the audience's mind.
Please, I detest it when Chinese and Korean actresses play cute; not every situation calls for it.
This actress is an example of how being cute does not fit her at all.
Cuteness, in my opinion, doesn't need to be fake; it comes naturally.
Not worth watching, in my opinion.
It would be interesting to watch if they could make the ML and FL become friends.
I watch historical series because they preserve culture, values, tradition, integration, and conservative societies.

Surprising
At the beginning a through that it will be a cringed teen idol drama BUT it’s not. The plot is amazing, and it stick to the reality of what trainees and idols have to endure in their daily life. How hard it is to do that job. We can see the bright side and the dark side of the kpop industry, how they are sometimes dehumanised. They talk about serious topic but it’s still very funny ! I love the character of Hyuk. I heard that it was the first drama for some actors, they did really well !!! I recommend this drama. Was this review helpful to you?

An Entertaining Couple Who Bicker Endlessly
Give me a historical romance with lots of political maneuvering and I’m seated for the drama!Starring Zhao Jin Mai & Zhang Ling He in lead roles, the first thing that catches your attention is the domesticated vibes between the main couple. “The Princess Royal” though a political melodrama is essentially a recurring love story between a couple, who died, were revived in their young selves and still choose to marry each other again; no matter the consequences. Their choices might seem questionable because they spend 20 years outwitting each other; but they are allies first, enemies later. There is comfort in their relationship which stems from spending decades together, even if they were in an antagonistic relationship. Both actors excel in their portrayals, the storyline does seem to drag in some places, but they quickly pull through by inserting a new ploy and chaos ensues. Our married couple are tasked with the job of maintaining peace with minimal damage possible. Let’s get to know them better before we form our opinions!

Am I missing something?
Looking at all the other reviews, I felt compelled to say something. Not because I agree, but quite the opposite. I feel like everyone saying they lost their minds laughing at this show is in on a secret that I've not been told. Or, they watched another version of this show than I have.I went into this drama so desperately wanting to like it. I'm on episode 11, and I still feel that way, although less so, because I'm mentally giving up hopes. The humor falls so flat 99% of the time. For a show that is marked as a comedy, I sure haven't laughed much at all since I started this. It's not even the poop humor that bothers me; I watched (and loved) the first season of Sound of Your Heart that was filled with jokes like that. It just feels like the writers set the cast up with a great lead-up and then gave them a terrible punchline that misses the mark, every single time.
The acting is done well, no complaints on that front. I know it's cliche with the priest being someone that can do every single thing perfectly, but I don't really mind that as much, just wish the execution was better. The juxtaposition of a high-tempered priest working with a timid and subservient detective sounds very interesting on paper, but it takes like half the show for anything interesting to actually happen with that dynamic. The slow burn is real.
The story feels unnecessarily long, with the underdogs vs. the villains going in circles non-stop. At this point, if the villains winning makes it a shorter story, I'm ready to accept that. I don't hate this show and I'll see it through (mostly because of Kim Nam-gil), but I so badly wish the writers tried more instead of trying to cash in on a priest whose comedy 90% of the time is screaming loudly (which was funny at first but is now getting old).
Oh, but props to the music director. The priest's theme is catchy, and who can forget "HONEY HONEY"

I'd never expect their soundtrack is better than I expected. Costumes and Hairstyles like Princess Wei Young were too elegant. The setting is gosh super 3D ?✌ I'd never push myself writing a long review but this drama deserves it. This one is a matured historical drama.
Waiting for next eps!

The opening scene of the story shows a beautiful landscape and a woman warrior beside a cart that has a casket on it. It seemed that she has killed a lot of people and she's looking for a place she heard that souls can reside before going to the afterlife. For some reason, she's even willing to kill herself to repent for her sins. She then ends up as the proprietor of a hotel for souls. Fast forward into the present time, the main male lead character (Yeo Jin Goo) has grown up and needs to fulfill a bargain that his father made with her. The deal that was made is similar to the story of the beauty and the beast where the father plucked a blooming flower for his daughter. Only this time, it's a dad offering his son's life in servitude to a thousands-year-old woman. Honestly, this story got me interested right away. It's a pretty good ghost story so far. Main female lead (IU) looks convincing as a warrior at the beginning and looks gorgeous in her flowing outfits when she became the boss of Hotel de Luna. I'm looking forward to her beautiful wardrobe changes and see if there will be sparks between the main leads. Male lead Jin Goo looks dashing in a suit and playing his character well. There's also some comedic relief I'd like to see more.
Will update review later on.

I gave it a try but its proven to be...Cliche!
I gave this a try because of Jun Ho!I've seen Youtube Shorts about this and its so romantic and fluffy, which I like!
Unfortunately, the actual episode is lengthy and draggy. Also, just too cliche in many ways.
I really love Junho but can't bear to watch this draggy series, unfortunately.
I'd say, just watch the highlights would do. I must say the highlights are real good, just takes too draggy to gets there.
