If you’re looking for a Drama to watch where the main leads at first don’t get along but later on they do and end up becoming a couple then I highly recommend this one. The cast was absolutely amazing and had amazing chemistry!!! I mainly started watching this drama because of the female lead Janice Wu but now I’m also a huge of the Main lead.
Two highlights for the whole drama for me were the chemistry and relationship between Zhen Zhen and Boxu and the music.

The music and the songs all were freaking amazing. I never skipped the opening title song nor the one they played in the end because it’s just that good. The main lead actor is a great singer!!! Delighted that I stumbled upon this drama.

However I did not like the office scenes or the scenes that did not focus on the main leads so I skipped them a lot because I liked watching moments involving the main leads more and I wish they had included more intimate scenes between the couple.

Overall I’d say this drama was a good watch. I finished it in 4-5 days. I also think it deserves a higher mld rating at least an 8.4 .

Cute!

Learned about this short film from a BL Instagram account. It was only about 7 minutes so I had to watch it! And it was cute and adorable though a bit rushed (which is understandable as it is a short film). I would love to be able to see this short film fleshed out into a full-length BL series. That would be great!

Train and train stations have always been romanticized in films and TV shows. Whether it is a departure of a loved one, the arrival of a loved one or a chance encounter with a future loved one. Trains and train stations hold a special place in my heart. Whenever I ride the train in my hometown, I secretly wish that I will cross paths with a future lover, that I will catch someone's attention and that they will approach me, making small talk or ask for my number. This has yet to happen and I doubt that it will, but still, I still hope...

Good leads chemistry, bad side plots

First of all, just know that you will finish this drama solely because the ML is SO HOTTTT!!! Lol… seriously. Can’t get enough. His role, his character, his chemistry with FL.. sizzling!! I’m not entirely sure Janice Wu suited this FL role. There were times she tried to act cute but it didn’t jive w me…

The romance between ML and FL was off the charts. Very good from the beginning. The kind where they met when they were in high school, got separated, met online but didn’t know it, meet again much later and STILL - there is the undeniable attraction! (Spoiler- they only get together in Ep 20 but the anticipation was well worth it with the scene of their first kiss!! You can watch it on my Instagram;) ) Lots of cute, PDA, kissing hugging pull her close kind of scenes.. Third parties were not an issue. There was almost a break up for your own good, but it didn’t really last.

Now the PROBLEM with this drama was- everything else!! Hahahaha.. seriously.
1) The office at Velin- so boring!! All the office / business talk boring. The bitchy boss trying to back stab, ok a little interesting.
2) The side couple Gao Leng and Chen Shu- skipped and ff ALL OF IT. Pls writers- we are not interested.

The grandpa was kinda cute- he had a special relationship w his granddaughter. The last 10 episodes shifted and evolved quite a bit, and it did get a little more interesting. The ending was a bit weird. How long did she have to wait from the time she found the ring till he proposed? I couldn’t tell, it was too rushed. And the fact that they had to be apart from each other so often… not that great. But I suppose that’s life.

Yes yes YES!! Watch this and just FF all the boring parts ;)

Best Drama of 2020!

This lakorn is very underrated! The storyline, plot, acting, cinematography, chemistry, ost are just amazing! My personal favorite is Game Sanaeha but if I were to judge, this is the best lakorn of JamesJi and Taew. Their acting skill are just superb. I'm still amazed on how they portrayed their characters in 3 lifetime. Maybe most of the watchers of this lakorn didn't like this as much as I do because the storyline doesn't just focus on james and taew character love story. This lakorn has so much to offer. Romance, thriller, mystery and even about reincarnation and black magic. Truly deserved the title "Best Drama of 2020" in maya awards.

Director Statement

In high school, anything abnormal can be easily targeted for bullying. Especially opening LGBT individuals or groups will face social judgment from the surrounding. In this case, high school students don't have enough maturity to understand these people but instead act out to bully them for satisfaction. Even If is written to illustrate how social pressure on opening LGBTQ+ affects them deep inside physically and mentally. Words are like bullets, with all the bullying and sexual harassment of LGBT people can ruin their lives without no one responsible. Some people did not even have a problem with LGBT people but when it's become a trend or target, it is like entertainment to follow those actions, With limited time to build a relationship for the characters, the montage will be involved a lot to balance the reasons of situation and action of the story. The story includes a dramatic line and expressions, color and tone will be a major key to helping the visual get more emotional.

Disappointment with ML(Xu Feng)

Every single character did their job best in this series. I really hated antagonists but felt sympathy when they met their retribution. This series shows how love can change people. It destroys you if u r too obsessed.

*Spoiler*

I felt pity for FL through out the series. So many people loved her & that love made her miserable throughout series. She was most genuine & innocent among all yet she suffered the most.

SML's manipulation was irritating but he was forced to do that he wanted to grasp whatever little was left for him. His hatred was understandable. His innocence was robbed. I was hoping for his happy ending with Kuang Lu.

*Major Spoiler*

ML's character was most disappointing for me...his love for Jinmi was genuine. Till ep 45, I loved his character but then it was simply frustrating. He was selfish like his mother. When his parents, his beloved guard & he himself got hurt, he was enraged & hated Runyu & Jinmi. But he never understood the pain & hatred of Runyu & Jinmi when they lost their loved ones coz of his mother. He only blamed them. But for his parents who were actually culprit, he was only sorry... How unfair it was. I hated him for his behavior with Jinmi after he was reborn. Jinmi never humiliated his love but he did that too intentionally. He never bothered to clear up misunderstanding. After his rebirth, his actions proved how selfish he was & didn't deserve jinmi.

My fav. Characters were Demon princess, MuCi, moon immortal, Yan yun & Kuang lu. Although it was happy ending for lead pair but it was unfair for Jinmi to be color blind coz of Xu feng.

SEVENTEEN being SEVENTEEN

If you're just getting into SVT this is the content you should watch to view them in their most natural state. While a show like Going Seventeen has concepts to follow, and characters they play, In the Soop is a show where they leave their celebrity selves behind and get some rest. Seventeen's biggest asset is the number of members they have. This promises different combinations and variety of content from them. They catch up on lost sleep, meditate, go to the sauna, ride bikes and atvs, hike up a mountain, hold tea ceremonies, work out, paint, do archery, ride boats, play paintball, go fishing, cook good food, sing, dance, eat, drink and have deep conversations. There are no adornments like makeup, flashy outfits, perfect lighting and an aesthetically set stage, rather they appear as their bare selves. There are times when their chaotic energy seeps out, and there are also moments of tranquil, but everything is balanced out in moderation and nothing feels overdone or unreal.

Vernon's closing comment struck me the most when he described the show as being "eye of the storm" the calmest spot within the storm, because once their hectic schedules start again they'd return to the reality that is the storm that's circling the "eye." This was their momentary place to rest, where they made precious memories and established the depth of their friendship, but now they will return to their busy lives.

LOVED THIS SEASON! HOPEFULLY WE'LL GET MORE IN THE FUTURE ❤

I really loved this drama. It was originally sitting on my "plan to watch" list for about 2 years until I decided about two weeks ago to watch it. If school hadn't gotten in the way, I'd have had it finished a LOT quicker, believe me!

The storyline in this show was GREAT. I LOVED all of the relationships, and enjoyed all of the side story lines. Only in perhaps one or two episodes did I find a lull in the speed of the storyline. I especially loved the little flashbacks at the start of each episode!

All of the actors and actresses in this show were fantastic. And the cameos were AMAZING.

I really enjoyed the music- especially 'Crazy Time' and 'My Love'.

I don't tend to rewatch dramas, but I definitely will be rewatching this at some point!

Overall, a fantastic Rom-Com drama, which doesn't disappoint :)

Having been a fan of Aragaki Yui for ages I was really looking forward to this drama when i heard about it and im happy to say that i was not disappointed.

The main storyline revolves around the solving of cases as most detective and mystery drama's do. The individual cases i felt were well thought out and though each case may appear simple they are anything but.

The cases and how they are solved by the cast are well explained and illustrated via the use of diagrams that are both flashy and easy to understand a fact that i applaud. The main story is very light, funny and pretty relaxing and it was fun to see the relationship between the two main characters develop as the show went on.

In terms of characters and casting Yui Aragaki and Masaki Okada did a fantastic job of portraying their respective characters. As a long term fan of Yui i have to say that she gave a flawless performance portraying Kyoko. Masaki Okada is one actor that im familiar with as he had lead role in Legal high 1 and 2 where he acted alongside Yui and i have to say his performance here was really good.
Apart from the main cast the support cast i felt also did a pretty good job especially the owner of the cafe and the waitress that knows martial arts.

Overall this show has a great story that is both fun and light and this is backed by the excellent performance by the cast. The music for this show is also pretty well done.

Im not normally one to rewatch drama's but this will probably one that i will watch again at some point.

Is this the best vampire movie you're ever going to watch? Probably not.
Is it the best BL movie you're ever going to see? If you only watch pretty bad ones or average ones, then yes, this one's certainly not bad - but I'm not going to claim it's the best one out there.
Does this movie have the greatest special effects in the world? Absolutely not. Far from it, actually. The effects were meh to just plain ol' bad. It's obvious that they didn't have the biggest budget for the CGI, but they worked with what they had and it worked out okay.
There are some things this movie does do very well which make it a very enjoyable watch. The story, for one, is rather original and throughout the movie, they just keep throwing new stuff at you so it doesn't get boring at all. Whenever I thought, "Ah, this is getting a bit bland...", the movie was like *Bam! More plot!* (and by plot, I mean actual plot... and also really great BL scenes if you can find the uncut version).
The chemistry between our main characters was also pretty great. Like I said, if you manage to find the uncut version or you watch the cut version and find the cut scenes online (I found some on facebook of all places!) and watch them at roughly the right moment, your itching for BL will be scratched. There was a lot of wholesome and unwholesome content. Bless the creators and actors, seriously.
Overall, I can honestly say that it was a good movie, not the best, but good enough. Original, great chemistry, music was okay (in the version I watched, the sound kind of faded in and out of existence so I couldn't really pay it that much attention), try to find the uncut version!

Super love this series! Really one of the best!

First episode and I almost drop this one. Thought maybe black comedy isn't my cup of tea. But I went back here and to my surprise, it surpassed Secret Forest rating, which topped my list last year. I couldn't believe it! So I decided to continue watching it because I couldn't accept the fact that this show went beyond SF ratings. Lol. Lo and behold, I fell in love with this series every episode onwards. So glad I continued watching it. It deserves its spot here. And did I mention I watched this twice already? Lol.

The things that I absolutely love about this show are:
1. Plot - It really intrigued me at first. Thought it's something like Miracle in Cell No. 7. Each character has a colorful background story that adds spice to the entire plot.
2. Cast - I love them soooo much! Super love the idea that the director chose fresh faces. You know, you wouldn't know what to expect. The usual people with villain roles esp lt. Paeng became the my oh-so-loved character here. While some actors who are usually the protaganists ended as the antagonists. The chemistry among the actors is superb!

And of course, who wouldn't love Looney?!! Oh my gosh. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have continued watching this and I would have missed a lot! He played a major role in this show and I so love his banter with Kaist and Cap Yoo. He was excellent! Hope he gets more projects after this!

One more character that will be ingrained in my mind is Park Hae Soo. I've been with kdrama since 2003 and who?! Who was this actor that suddenly popped up and got that main role!? I love him! He's good when he acts dumb, but when he's angry or hurt, he has effectively delivered those emotions. Where have you been, PHS? Lol. So love his bromance with JKH. JKH is, of course, in no doubt owned his role.

Lots of love for this drama. I still have so much to say but you people just watch it for yourself! Lol!

Unpretentious comedy

Just what is needed to relax and laugh at the antics of the "superstar" actor YouXi (Kele Sun) and the "assistant" Yuchi YaoYao (Hanna/Lu YangYang) he roped in. It often feels like parody, clichés and tropes are gleefully taken on by the actors.
There is a complicated word (enoclophobia) for the mental discomfort suffered by the FL character.
The first part was just fun, the second part of the drama got more serious, touching on actor cancellation and their fighting for professional survival, while the FL, after sweetly hinting she would be taking up sewing to make ends meet, evolved into more of an actress herself in helping her boyfriend prepare for roles and meetings, perhaps taking her cue from Pandora, who performed every moment of her "life" as if it was a script to be filmed. YouXi played childish tricks to the shy student he fell for almost at first sight, but stood firmly by her to defend her when it mattered.
The music is a simple song that feels endearingly childish. I found myself smilingly humming the tune while preparing food and thinking about the funnily voracious Pandora (LQ Wang /Wang Lu Qing) and YouXi !
It may annoy some watchers, but I had a good time watching this rather short one, as c-dramas go.
I rewatched some episodes, and was not bored at all. It is not a masterpiece, but quite okay.
I recommend it for those who are not too fussy and just want to spend a few hours with a generally unpretentious comedy.

Hilarious, relatable and with lots of Soft Boys (TM)

The first five episodes were absolutely hilarious. I was constantly scream-laughing, to the point that my flatmate wanted to know what I'm watching. After episode five there aren't many laugh-out-loud moments anymore, but by that time I was already completely hooked and in love with the setting and all the characters. I enjoyed it all the way to the end, although the drama goes through a slight shift in tone. The fangirling, which was hilarious and so damn relatable, disappeared more and more, which was a bit disappointing, since at first it seemed to be the main storyline. During the last third, it was more of a clichée family drama with some very cheesy romance scenes.

I will probably still rewatch it one day because the first third is hilarious, I love Deok Mi's clothes and apartment and I love the soft relationship she has with Ryan.

First, I wasn't the biggest fan of Kim Jae Wook as Ryan. But I very quickly warmed up to him and by the end I was completely in love, mostly because Ryan is such an incredibly soft, caring, gentle and supportive boyfriend. I hope I'll one day find someone who is as supportive of my weird hobbies and obsessions as he is of Deok Mi's.

Park Min Young is charming as always and I actually think this is one of he best roles. Furthermore, I loved Park Jin Joo, One, Ahn Bo Hyun and Kim Bo Ra. The scenes at the office, when the main couple were fighting were absolutely hilarious and reminded me of awkward moments we've had at our office when someone (ok, that someone was me) was dating a co-worker. I also really liked the character development Hyo Jin went through. She ended up being super funny.

Deok Mi's father cleaning his rocks and hiding behind the curtain? Brilliant. Hyo Jin also cleaning rocks when she stayed with them? Comedic Genius. Actually, the father reminded me of my own dad a bit. My father often doesn't say much and often doesn't even listen to the conversation and people tend to get annoyed. He also has a hobby that he works on constantly - building model planes. Talking about his planes is when he really lights up. And if a potential son-in-law shows even the slightest interest in his planes, he'll have to look at them for hours. Recognizing that similarity, I really had a soft spot for Deok Mi's father.

But honestly, in the beginning there were so many relatable scenes. I constantly paused the drama to send a screencap to my friend like 'this is me', 'this is us' etc.

The only thing that bothered me, and this is where the SPOILER comes, is that Si An never found out that Deok Mi is Si Na Gil. I thought that was one of the most important points..? Especially since he is now her brother-in-law..? And in the beginning they emphasized how he thinks Si Na Gil must be such a special fan... Revealing it would've definitely made for some comedic relief.

All in all, a funny, heart-warming and soft romantic comedy with a side of family drama - and very relatable for adult fangirls.

I went into this show with Penthouse expectations, but it failed to deliver.

Initially, this show started off quite promising, but it soon petered out into something rather underwhelming that lacked any real substance. It really had so much potential on paper, particularly with that stellar cast, but somehow it all went awry, or perhaps it never really got off the ground to begin with. Either way, it's a great waste and a big shame.

Disappointingly, the writers failed to give Lee Ji Ah an adequately strong and meaningful character, for which she so readily deserves and excels at. I can only hope that she lands a far better role in another show, pronto, as she is a superb actress. Notwithstanding, she was the saving grace of this show, despite her lacklustre roll.

Other ways to help people

Again i will try not to make too much spoilers and also not to talk that much but really i got exited with things i love :).

Plot: This season is not really the same, revenge got them in big problems and it wasn't really working so this time they just help people without it. The stickers change their message but our team keeps being a strong one (Even when Sung Chul tried to make them go away).

This makes all the diference. It is not as dark as the first season, we get much more humor but still see how people can be the worst. Special mention gets the case with the kids, wich is heartbreaking even thinking about people actually doing that just for money.

We also get a villain arc during all the season something i really like and think was well developed since the villain have his own sad backstory. It makes you question destiny, how different life will be if things happen any other way (In this case, we see On Ha Joon asking if things will be different if he meet the crew before).

Kudos to Shin Jae Ha who was great in his performance.

Characters: This season Kim Do Gi is clearly their leader. Felt like Sung Chul got to touched by his mistake in thinking he got Baek controlled so he is listening to Do Gi more.

Mr. Park and Mr. Choi are in a quest to protect Do Gi at all cost (As if he needs it lol) so we get to see them around more than the first season. I love them because they're hilarous. That first episode when they travel all the way to Vietnam to help him, got lost, Do Gi end up finding them on the road (Mr. park thinking he is a delusion because he is that hungry lol) and getting them food while they keep saying how they're there to help him is peak comedy. Do Gi soft looks is also love, how he really see them as family (He is even happy when both of them get in prision in the last eps to help him too)

Do Gi and Ahn Go Eun also have more screen time toguether and is pretty obvious she have feelings for him. If this is going to go somewhere i don't know but i wouldn't mind. Is not a romance show but they're good together. Also i like to see her beat some ass thanks to her police training.

Hightlights: The biggest hightlight for me this season is Lee Je Hoon brilliant performance. How he change characters in a manner of seconds is fascinating to watch. also, as i already said, i loved On Ha Joon arc even when is was pretty obvious he was fishy since the start.

Negatives: Mostly there is this one thing from the final ep that irks me a lot and is how the priest knows about Do Gi trigger with the whistle? He just saw them in a drawer and got his own conclusions? That was weird.

Also the advertising was a little cringe at times but nothing awful.

All in all i love it so bring it season 3!!!!

Again shout out to Wang Tao Chi and Madam Li we need them in season 3 too ;).
