These types of dramas really makes me think and look back. It makes me wonder what have I done with my life? When I grow old is it something that will make me proud? laugh? or cry? I loved how realistic the story was. It tackled problems that most of us experiences in our every day lives. It shows that not all our decisions are perfect and we should learn how to own up to our decisions. And that no matter what happens, we need to move along with life or else we will drown in our own miseries.
The casting was superb. Hands down they were all great. They fit their roles perfectly. Can't believe the Kim Tae Ri is in her 30s already. Just wow.

What is with BL and their Love for Incest?
Look, I know they aren't blood-related, but it doesn't make the story any less werid. I need the BL industry to drop the toxic tropes that paint gay people in a bad way. Incest? Rape? Sexual assult? It all needs to GO AWAY. Romanticizing this crap is way beyond me. Someone is going to need to point out where people find these tropes to be "cute" cause it's not here. This story could've been ten times better had it not involved incest.Let's Dive In.
So besides the fact of them being step-brothers, this series was very entertaining and had a well-driven plot. It's so highly rated because it did such a good job at speaking on some tough subjects. An abusive father, suicide, illness, mourning, divorce, and remarriage; all packed into one and done amazingly by these fantastic actors. By far I loved the scene with Bank and his dad, and Golf saving him. I can't help it, heroic tropes are the best; they're my guilty pleasure.
I somewhat liked the back and forth between the past and present, but I’d rather have seen a well put together beginning, and then another season with them being older. Sometimes it felt like too much, and some of the pacing was inconsistent.
I shipped Tom and Bank A LOT more than I did Bank and Golf. Tom was sweet and compassionate towards Bank, while in the beginning, Golf treated Bank very poorly. (for example, stripping Bank in the classroom or having him sleep outside). Yes, Golf was also going through his crap, but he never apologized for it in the end.
All of the other storylines felt like a waste of time. I pretty much rushed through anything that wasn't about Bank or Golf.
I was pretty bored with those girls that were obsessed with K-pop. Overall, it was a good binge-watch.

Snoozefest
My main reason for finally watching this was because it was the only show included in Our Skyy 2 that I hadn’t watched. I probably could have skipped it because I spent the entirety of it bored out of my brain.Dao was just so whiny and annoying, and I didn’t have any sympathy for him at all. It felt like he was being a little too overdramatic constantly. Kluen was more likeable, but sometimes his silenced felt a little overused. In all honesty, I only stuck with the show because of the support cast - I reached a point where I was only watching for Fah, Maitee and Sean. (Not Phoon, who was creepy as hell.) I only finished the show so I could move on to Sky in your Heart.
This isn’t a show I’ll ever revisit.

a depressing movie, if there ever was one that fit the definition to a T
the start was weird, cause it opens with a sex scene and even though u can't see faces, u know its two guys and one of them (cause of the mullet) is Dae Shik. then u move to a scene where he is saying goodbye to a smaller-framed dude that is reluctant to part ways. u know its the "bottom" from the first scene (cause of his body-frame), and then he says "...ur my brother..." (⊙…⊙ ) and i'm like - is this some weird incest angle that i didn't foresee - but then thought, cause this is Korean maybe its more a term of endearment and respect, for an older "acquaintance" - just for a sec - that was an weird ass start (⊙_⊙;)but this just gets so depressing. its more about life as a homeless person, the way society treats them, how they interact with each other - how they basically survive. to say its ruff is putting it lightly - its brutal!! then it is about a "love triangle" that's "starring" in the description. there really aint no love triangle here (!) Dae Shik falls for Suk Won and that's about it. Il Joo is a non-factor and even she wakes up to reality pretty quick, but cause of the life she has led - she tries to hang onto something that will never happen - and that's the end of that. there is not a sec where Suk Won was interested in Il Joo - its just physical and that also comes to not, as neither really want each other. even the scene where Il Joo prevents Suk Won from going with Dae Shik, was her using Dae Shik as a means to keep Dae Shik with her - then her wanting Suk Won. like Suk Won's staying back with Il Joo, not cause he cares for Il Joo in the least - but cause he just found out that Dae Shik is gay and, now he is worried/wondering if the only reason Dae Shik was so good to him, was cause he's after his ass -
Suk Won is a wounded/lost soul and from the little u see of Dae Shik - u get that not only is he the "leader" type, the one that walks in a takes charge (not in a bossy mean, muscle-head type, more personality wise, like a big-brother that takes care of all the lost souls). plus he is also the only one that finds it in himself to take care of those surrounding him - so little wonder all the other homeless people consider him "boss". he always keeps finding (collecting) wounded-souls to save whether it be suicidally lost Suk Won, or ironically (also) suicidally , depressed and jaded Il Joo - an each in turn latch onto him cause he is a safe-haven, that might help them weather the storm. ironically or not Dae Shik falls for Suk Won and as he knows Suk Won aint gay he just wants to be with him, take care of him without the need for reciprocation.
if anything this is more a love story. and not a "happily ever after" ending either. but there is a kind of acceptance and peace, between the leads, at the end. but after everything they've been through, u just want them to have a little peace and happiness, and in a way they do find it (but for a blink of an eye) and then over - the end.. bottom line good movie but very depressing
there is a lot more going on in this movie - and a ton of feelings bombarded u watching this - not a boring movie, but not for the faint of heart cause its really gruesome - the reality these people live on the daily - and feel like the big question that's never addressed is Dae Shik on the streets as penance for abandoning his family (son) but that's another matter - great acting but aish i'm sad

I mean in nearly 90% of these movies , all you see is a tragic crash of a giant plane with hundreds of passengers including some innocent kids , old grannies and other usual people who entirely die in most cases ! They're FULL of visual effects and most parts of the movie is spent on showing the way the airplane elapses ! But in "Happy Flight" , you see a brand new vista of people who work in an aviation
"Happy Flight" is a realistic , emotional and artistic flight movie which is more about the PEOPLE than the FLIGHT itself ! It's about very ordinary people who work an ordinary aviation in Japan ! And in a very ordinary day , despite the differences they have either in their positions or personalities , they gather together and become AS ONE to do their most important responsibility in the best way ever , which is : PROTECTING THE PASSENGERS !
The most impressive thing about the characters in this movie , is that all of them feel responsible for the tragedy which is about to happen ! It doesn't matter if they're a pilot , a flight attendant , a simple worker at the airport or ... They all feel that they can make a difference in the job they're doing if they want to !
The way they help each other and the way they care about every detail related to the passengers was quite unique , and I hadn't seen anything like that in the movies with the same plot !
I don't know much about the actors but I think they were totally great with their interesting and different yet relatable roles ! The way the main pilot tries to calm down his young and rookie assistant by keeping cool in any condition shows a very important ability of a professional pilot that hasn't been mentioned much through movies !
Dialogs were written beautifully and wisly yet do realistic and easy to relate to !
=> The movie loses it's suspension sometimes and I wish I could see more of aviative professors contact with the passengers specially in the airplane BUT none of these changes the fact that this movie is brilliant at it's genre and plot !
Final word : reviewing is mostly about comparing ! So nothing is 100% in this world as well as this review ,It's only written comparing with other dramas/movies and it's rated toward my other ratings for other worse or better dramas/movies !
Thanks for reading my words ! Bye ^_^

2nd ML was the MVP
There is second lead syndrome and then there is whatever I got with this show! Honestly for me the 2nd lead stole the show, he was the show! He could have easily come across as childish, irritating and annoying (and sometimes he did) but most of the time he was instead charming, fun and sweet, all these thanks to the actor. The FM had practically the same characteristics as the 2nd ML and was supposed to come off as quirky and likeable, but in reality, she was just annoying and childish. I think although the actress is a really good one, she just couldn’t pull out this kind of character.I won’t say I have second lead syndrome because:1)Honestly for me the 2nd ML was the main character for this show and 2) I don’t think I wanted him to end up with the FL, she just doesn’t deserve him.
Also, it kind of bugged me that they tried to tell us the the FM was ugly because of the hair and the red spots! She was just not!
All in all is not that I did not enjoy the show, I did and the chemistry between the characters is there but there were some things that kind off took me out of it and didn’t really allow me to fully embrace it!

Never did I expect to absolutely LOVE a high school entrance exam-centered story.
Though not Chinese, as a fellow Asian who has went through the very similar, absolutely gruelling exam system, watching Asian high school dramas are next to impossible for me, it's almost like ptsd hahaIf not for the cast members whom I absolutely love, and the premise of "how China held the exam in the midst of the pandemic" that intrigued me, I wouldn’t have pressed play. And I'm so glad I did.
IT'S SO RELATABLE IN THE BESTEST WAY POSSIBLE!!!!!
I laughed and cried with all the characters. I loved all of them. Even the flawed ones. The acting and character writing is so nuanced and realistic, the adults love for the children was almost palpable through the screen, though some of them might not have chosen the best way to show it, it was so obvious how much they were trying, and how much they cared. Which made me as a viewer care for them too and cheer wholeheartedly for their growth.
Gosh, the drama drew humor from the most mundane, everyday things, was highly empathetic and non judgemental, and was inspiring. It made me nostalgic about that era of my life, it made revisit and reassess my family values.
"This is how much my parents love me", I thought as I watched it. "My teachers were dedicated to us just like this".
It is a drama that actively made me proud to be an Asian.
So watch it, everyone! I know the subs are bad, but they are not impossible to get through with some context based guesswork. It's worth it, if you are interested in any of the things I mentioned above! ❤
P.s.-
**Mild spoiler for the last "challenge" in the story which happened in the final 4 eps**
This drama took the relatability to a new level when they did that last arc (flood), since that happened in my country as well, and under exact same context. I was bamboozled lol

Strong woman do bong soon coming soon --
This aired on 17 Feb as the show starts on 24. As we can watch a glimpse of it even before its premiere - i.e the Special Broadcast. The special episode reveals behind-the-scenes stories from the actors during filming and a special commentary interview with the actors of the show. Clips follow them from their very first meeting before shooting the drama.Park Bo Young, who played de role of- Do Bong Soon, chose a scene from de 5th episode in which Do Bong Soon confronts a pervert on de subway. De scene takes place after she decides 2 no longer hide her powers from de world. The scene was especially satisfying for viewers as she swiftly punishes the pervert for his actions and Park Bo Young said, “I liked the scene also because it felt good to act out the change in Do Bong Soon’s perspective [on her powers].”As for her favorite lines, Park Bo Young picked out a scene from episode seven in which Do Bong Soon clashes with her mother about being an afterthought in the family. In the scene, Do Bong Soon tearfully says, “u raised me while always putting me last. Do u think I wanted 2 b born like dis? Why do you hate only me?…We’re both your children but why are you always unfair to only me? You’re a woman too so why are you always mean to only me?”
Park Hyung Sik, who took on the role of video game company CEO Ahn Min Hyuk, chose a scene from episode 14, in which Ahn Min Hyuk stares longingly at Do Bong Soon and says, “Please look at me. Please love me,” as the most memorable scene from the drama. Before this scene, Do Bong Soon goes to confront the villain on her own and, in the process, loses her strength, which causes her to lose consciousness. The scene further confirms their love for one another and Park Hyung Sik said, “I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a more thoughtful and emotional scene before. Even thinking about it now, I can still feel lingering emotions in my heart from that scene that I just can’t explain in words.”
Ji Soo, who played the role of the aloof but caring character of In Guk Doo, chose a scene from the upcoming episode as his favorite scene so far. He explained, “When I first read the synopsis for the drama, I really liked the aspect in which these three characters come together to achieve justice. The scene I am thinking of from episode 15 best illustrates this aspect of the drama, which is why it is my favorite scene.”The actor also picked a favorite line from a scene in which In Guk Doo expresses his concerns about Do Bong Soon spending the night in Ahn Min Hyuk’s home. In Guk Doo says, “Why are we just friends?” which clearly causes Do Bong Soon’s heart to flutter, and continues, “Make sure to lock the doors when you stay at that CEO’s house. Ahn Min Hyeok is definitely not gay.” Ji Soo explained, “At this point, In Guk Doo doesn’t realize that he likes Do Bong Soon but his true feelings show during this scene. I like this line because it portrays the unfortunate timing of their relationship very concisely.”
It’s never too late to start watching “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First and foremost, I want to express how surprised I was by the very effective horror, there are numerous moments when I genuinely felt creeped out. This show is a blend of the three genres combination, a romance, supernatural elements, and horror. For instance, in the very first scene is already foreshadowing an eerie direction. The visuals and CGIs are remarkable!
Ji Ah is a risk-taker, she's a reflection of a realistic career driven woman. She is knowledgeable about Korean folklore and adds a lot of depth to the show. I think her grit allows her to be more on equal footing with the immortals that are around her, which is hard to do, they often get sidelined because they're human. But my favorite character is Lee Yeon, he is the perfect balance of sass and arrogance and playfulness. Lee Dong Wook plays him so genuinely that it's hard to remember his previous roles, he disappears into this playful, arrogant fox.
Sadly, it quickly gets hollow and bonker! The script is consistently inconsistent, too many plot holes. When the romance is at stake, the scenes between the actions and romcom are giving a strange tone whiplash. The chemistry between the leads is somewhat one-sided. Then it is strangely ending, adding one more plot hole in the very final moment.

somewhat realistic workplace story
Workplace webdramas are tricky. Usually they either focus on romance or the comedic elements too much, but this one stands out to me. It focuses on how one can become disillusioned and disappointed by reality of working everyday. Even if you land your dream job, it's never easy. This webdrama excels in many areas. Story, pacing, music and acting are all good. Another bonus is leads having good chemistry. Even the PPL isn't that jarring, as it fits well into the story.
It's good watch for anyone in their 20s, just starting their career. It's easy to get discouraged when you first face the hardships of entering workforce. This drama cheered me up and I hope it does the same for you :)

he is one of the people who became evil because others doing bad for him..
but
- this drama is so repetitive so i feel dejavu of each episode..
- the solution is not come from main character, but because other people or some coincident..
- its the typical drama that have 1 hour story but you can know the summary of that episode in last 10 minutes..
- just what are you doing, prisoner guard??
- main character is not match for the villain..
- there are some strange death scene, but no one think thats strange? why dont you be more careful next time?

A pleasant surprise going in without high expectation. The story has some substance. The writers did a good job keeping me engaged just when the pace gets draggy somehow an interesting element pops up. This drama was not devoid of cringe tropes, unrealistic situations, annoying decisions, plot holes and overdone acting, there were a few but nothing serious, overall everyone did a good job portraying their roles. Sabrina Chen impressed me the most in this drama so much better than her character rendition in highly rated Maiden Holmes which I found boring (sorry) so I put on-hold, maybe after this I will try to finish it. Xiao Rou and Gao Xing romance had the passion of an old married couple but somehow lacked the youthful discovery of love maybe because their characters were childhood sweethearts the writers did not inject any more romantic getting to know you heart-fluttering scenes leaving the main leads chemistry lacking sometimes. The second lead characters had interesting relationships- Li Da Bai and Dongfang Qi was a good comedic story along with Liang Chenhui getting in the mix to balance Gao Ya and Han Mu's restrained romance. There were no lingering evil villains in this drama. I think everyone had character development by the end. So what made me post a review is actually the amazing cinematography of this drama. I especially loved how most of the scenes were shot in real public and private locations, it looks like only a few scenes may have been shot in a film studio. It was nice seeing the characters in beautiful Sanya, the streets, buildings and restaurants in Suzhou and Shanghai- I even tried to look up some of these locations: ) The outfits were gorgeous, good job costume director. I would have given this drama a higher rating if there were less episodes than 42 or more romance arc between the main leads. Nevertheless, it has a happy ending so this is a good one time watch. And I changed my opinion.
I did not expect this drama get me so excited. The plot began to develop in a interesting way. At the begining the story of this series was not very original, but with time it became more and more curious.
I am glad that the work of a lawyer and a prosecutor did not end up tendentiously. The drama also showed what the work of the judiciary looks like after capturing a criminal.
When it comes to actors, in my view the main character was very fascinating. He had a very intriguing look. The acting of the rest of the actors was also convincing.
It is just a pity that the music was not diversified. I regret a little about the underdevelopment of the main characters' relations.
