I think that this is my first review in MyDramalist. I decided to write this review because I really like Mr. Fighting, and wanted to share my feelings with othersThe story itself is actually not complicated, and could be considered as simple actually. It's about an actor who was popular when he was in teens, and then become the "washed-up" actor after 10 years, where no one actually know him (or remember his name anymore). With the help of the people he called as "Family" he stepped back onto the road of an actor once again
When i first read the summary, I think that the story is just too simple. Like, there's not much going on. I have predicted that there would be struggle to achieve stardom, but it will be the usual happy-go-lucky story. But when I watched the first episode, I know i'm wrong
The story is not heavy but it's also not fluffy. The drama might tell the story of Hao Zeyu and his road to stardom, but it's the story behind the scene that makes this drama so worth watching. His interaction with the people who he considered as his family, with Fu Zi, and also his struggle to become an actor. What I like is the simplicity of the story, that there's no actual "evil" person in the story (even agent Shi), and that they're just so human. They felt realistic and felt close to me, and that's why I could relate to each of them personally. I also think that the conflict is actually pretty real
This drama actually make me rethink about the word "happiness" itself. What do happiness actually means? Is it having a lot of money and could buy anything you want? Or is happiness the way you're able to be with the person you love and care most and laugh with them everyday? Just like what Fu Zi said, that she wanted normal and realistic romance, and this is what makes their separation, and then their eventual break-up, make me very emotional. I think I didn't stop crying since episode 43, and I continue to cry until the end of episode 44
The story is not gloomy, but it's also not the "fairy tale" story where everything will magically be okay even after a big conflict. And that's what makes me love the story so much
Acting/Cast
All the actors portray their parts properly and amazingly, even the supporting characters like Mr Gu (who like Niu Meili). Their wonderful action makes the drama felt even real to me
Rewatch value
I might not be able to rewatch this because there's just too much heartache. I could only go through this drama once. If I have to sit through this emotional drama again, I might not be able to hold on

A new bar for xianxia genre
Never have I ever written a review for a drama despite having watched 1000+ dramas/movies in my life.So here are the 5 things I love about this show:
1. No draggy plot, no silly misunderstanding, a handful of supportive characters. No irritating conventional tropes. Fresh stories in the mortal realm. Of course there is still room for improvement, but in general, the plot is logical and coherent. You don't have to ask yourself frequently why the characters behave in a certain way or why a particular event occurs. I also love the writer's formula to match the leads and the second leads. It would have been less fun or more destructive if they had been paired up the other way around. And that is how relationships in real life usually are.
2. The acting of the leads is top-notch. I cannot imagine anyone who can play these roles better than Chen Xingxu and Li Landy. I have watched two previous famous dramas of Chen Xingxu (Goodbye my princess and Fall in love). He was already outstanding in those dramas, yet he even brought his A-game here. He delivers skillfully nuances and perfection in many scenes that I cannot delve into here to avoid giving spoilers. In short, he succeeds in nailing another challenging role. Also, this is the first show of Li Landy that I've watched, and she does a good job bringing out the depth of her character. Besides, her acting is very natural, and her crying scenes are probably the best among all the Chinese actresses I have watched. The remaining cast's acting is solid and spot on too, especially the second leads, despite their little acting experiences. Moreover, the show is overflowing with the cast's strong chemistry and synergy.
3. Great character development. If for some reasons you find the female lead childish in the first episode, give her a bit more time, and normally, you should change your mind around ep 6, 7, although Li Landy has already done an excellent job handling this kind of character from the very beginning. Similarly, if somehow you find the male lead quite plain in the first few episodes, don't stop because he will eventually become the best ML in the xianxia genre. He is simply a breadth of fresh air who can strike a terrific balance between duty and love, between being ordinary and exceptional, between being innocent and cunning. If you still disagree with these after finishing the drama, come and discuss with me ;)
4. The soundtracks are beautiful and addictive. They elevate so many scenes.
5. So many hilarious scenes, which is rare in this genre. Moreover, these scenes were properly performed and not overdone. This is a big plus as this is the type of show that you can enjoy with your partner (if he/she is into fantasy and comedy). Hence, the re-watch value is very high.
In summary, I thought no drama could exceed Eternal love or Ashes of love, but The starry love has set a new bar in my heart for the xianxia genre. Thank you the production team and the cast for delivering a magnificent show. I will cherish this show for a long long time.

Don't put high expectations.
Alright so I had extremely high hopes for this one because the sypnosis sounded so cool. Seriously, two detectives try to solve cold cases with a detective from the past using walkie-talkies. And knowing it's not one case but mutliple cases, it sounded promising, it won'thet noring they won't drag the subplots we get to see different criminals the way Hanyeong would profile them and use his 'skills' the whole new way of solving the case but the way it was underwhelming. So disappointed. It's not a bad show, sure it's interesting you want to know what would happen but the way the main idea was used very badly as, more of something at the side rather than the whole point of the show. First off, they didn't solve any cases together. Whenever someone discovered something and they tell it to the other, the other already knows about it. One of the two detectives in the future doesn't even know about the walkietalkie-future-past-communication until the 14th episode which takes away from how well it could've been. The only time she used the walkie-talkie was basically her crying the whole convo and getting sentimental. The way each time they were on a case they each detective solved it on their own, they could do without each other. The potential this plotline could've had and it just missed it. Another thing was the characters' writing they were written very badly. I'm a person who cares more about the characters than the plot, I would watch a show with an okay plot if it had great characters and would drop a show of a good plot with bad characters. This show didn't have well-written characters or a good plot as I've previously mentioned. The characters are very one dimesional, it seems like they have no life outside of the cases they solve, no other acquaintances, nothing. Which made them seem very dull and unlikable in my opinion I couldn't stand them and the way some lines sounded so forced. Like all three detectives are made up of one personality. Righteous, wants to know the truth, have no sense of humour, no quirks absolutely zero personality besides that. Each time I watched an episode I was not very hooked or interested with what was going on and then it ends at an intense part so I go for the next episode only to be underwhelmed with the events as they unfold. The ending of the show didn't feel satisfying at all??? I know they tried to pull an open ending but it just seemed like everything is starting all over again with the whole confusion and repetitiveness of the whole plot all over again. Was not a fan.
I'd give it a 6.5 stars because it could be enjoyable to a lot of people I just feel it could've been done way better.

30 episodes of slop before it gets good
So I was slogging through episode after episode of this terrible show out of blind loyalty to the author (Jiu Lu Fei Xiang). Then, near the end and long after I should have dropped it, it actually got pretty good. Truly a surprise.I guess I’ll start with my issues with the first 30ish episodes.
This show is so unbelievable cheesy. Take the whole superpower thing, for example. If you think of the ML as a Marvel superhero, he’s not that bad- interesting premise and all. But if you're not comparing him to cartoons, then he comes across as… well, cartoonish.
His transformations are accompanied by thumping music, CGI effects, slow motion poses, and hair blowing in the wind. It’s clearly meant to be heart-pounding cool, but I found it super lame. Maybe because the proper buildup isn’t there, so rather than being emotionally invested and caught in the moment, I’m just sitting here rolling my eyes.
And then there are other scenes that seem meant to be squeal-worthy cute, moving, or touching. I was not moved or touched. They were cheesy. Maybe it’s because I didn’t connect with the characters that I just couldn’t get in the proper mood.
As for the characters… let’s start with Li Shuang, female lead and world’s most unbelievable general. I think we’re supposed to like her. She’s strong, capable, noble, and selfless; all she needs now is somebody to appreciate and take care of her. We’re supposed to enjoy watching her find love.
It might have worked if she had any depth to her, but she comes across more as somebody’s one-dimensional image of a paragon of virtue. She is constantly spewing platitudes about protecting the common people; her flaws include failing to take care of herself (because she’s so selfless), her emotions include sorrow for the peoples’ suffering, and her desires include world peace and prosperity. Get the idea?
I think that without any depth, to make her feel more real and relatable, all her moralizing lacks sincerity. She’s too artificial. About half the time she said anything, I rolled my eyes.
As for the ML, his defining feature for the majority of the show is his puppy-like devotion to the FL. He has hints of being clever or thoughtful, but most of his actions center around his obsession with her. You can’t blame him- it’s chemically induced- but that means even more that their romance is founded on nothing.
Sitting through 30 episodes of these two going through all the motions of a sticky sweet romance was truly a struggle. Manufactured cutesy scenes, sappy moments with slow mo and flowery music, incident after incident requiring skin to be bared, sacrifices and rescues, etc. I was either cringing or bored.
On top of this, both leads at times acted in ways I found extremely frustrating. For instance, the unnecessary hostility towards Mo Yun, whose goals are not contrary to theirs. And that poor Crown Prince- despite being a saint, the FL somehow has no empathy for him. As the show itself says, you can turn somebody down and still be kind about it. Their childhood friendship seems to mean nothing to her; she can’t pull out a hint of genuineness or regard for him.
Shows define their own reality. The obnoxious behavior is presented as justified and noble, which left me irritated and further resentful against the two leads.
I had a brief moment of enjoying the show somewhere in the middle, when Lu Xin (female doctor) gets some character development, and Mo Yun appears. In general, I found Lu Xin alternately annoying and very likable. I did like Mo Yun, but some of his character arc was also really cheesy (the detached sage learning to love… lol).
With this second couple, I liked them individually, but the romance between them felt forced- maybe lacking in chemistry or something. Couldn’t quite get behind.
As for the villains, the empress dowager of Yao comes across as deranged and evil- kudos to the actress. I was satisfied with her story and resolution. The Taijin side… more complicated, didn’t quite like.
It isn't until almost 30 episodes in that the ML finally regains his old memories. At this point, the show suddenly gets much better. The ML is more interesting, with much more personality as Prince Annan, and I actually began to like the FL and empathize with her. Li Shuang even has her first moment of humanity, with a genuine and valid regret.
Even more, the way it all plays out between them is at once cute/sweet, and heartbreaking. I guess the previous 30 episodes of sap were setting up for this; it’s a lot more poignant when you understand what was lost. I legit found it touching.
This arc is not without its eyebrow raisers. For one thing, there are now TWO of them competing for the spot of Most Virtuous Soul. The setup / situation is also a bit contrived. But I was willing to overlook all this. All in all, well done, +1 points (yes I was about to give this a 5).
There is some more last-minute drama afterwards which I didn't find too compelling, but it's so close to the end anyways.
Acting-wise, I’ll address first the complete unbelievability of Li Shuang as a general. It’s easy to blame the actress, and I think that’s part of it, but there are other components too. Things like: her voice; her pretty clothing and jewelry when everyone else is wearing armor; outfits and scenes that highlight her creepy level of skinniness; choreography that showcases her poor fighting technique; so on. I don’t want to bash on Song Yi, but maybe she wasn’t the best choice for the role, and maybe also direction/production could have done some things differently.
Other actors did well. Cheng Lei of course had to show a lot of range for his dual personalities and I thought he did a good job. If you like to see Cheng Lei shirtless, this is the show for you. Darren Chen as Mo Yun and Bi Wenjun as the Crown Prince both showed really good expressions with their eyes. I felt even worse for the Crown Prince with how troubled and hurt he looked at times, near the end.
The fight choreography is… not the best I’ve seen, and not that well executed. I admire the creativity of making her main weapon bow and arrow, but it really is not a short-range weapon, and having her rapid fire for close range combat just makes her sloppy technique even worse. Her sword swings are also uncontrolled. There are some battle scenes but they are all pretty standard.
This is definitely not a low-budget show, with lots of fancy costumes, sets, and extras. The CGI quality seems pretty good, and I did like the music on its own merits. But production can’t save a bad plot.
Ultimately, is it worth it to struggle through 30 episodes to get to the good part? Not sure. I did feel some really great emotions at the end, and I was interested and invested. But, ya know, a good show should have that all the way through, and >75% slop is kind of a lot.
ENDING – READ AHEAD ONLY IF YOU WANT TO KNOW, CONTAINS SPOILERS
This show has a happy ending. The characters really could have achieved the whole thing with much less drama, but I guess it’s a show after all. About half of the last episode is devoted to telling you where everyone goes. It’s bittersweet for some of the characters but not that bad.
I had a lot of sympathy for the Crown Prince throughout the show. He gets pretty ruthless for a moment there, and I was afraid he would spiral into villainhood (the fate of all too many SML, it seems). And yet I wasn’t sure what he did that was wrong or blameworthy, except maybe when he failed to properly read her mind (right). Luckily they turn that around and ultimately he becomes a good emperor. I like him as a character, but all this personality yo-yoing is too dramatic, getting dangerously close to character assassination.
More than anything, I was really bothered by how FL treated him. I felt she should have at least given him closure, along the lines of “I really treasured our time together but we both need to move on.” Even at the end, he’s clearly struggling and she still can’t say anything nice to him. It somehow falls on our ML to say just one kind thing- “you are a good emperor whom the people love”- to comfort this lonely soul.

Reasons:
1. Story- i like how unique the story is and that it is adapted from a novel. Usually a story that is adapted from a novel turns out to be great that is why i was hooked from the beginning until the end. This drama is a so-so for me. It is not that great but it is not bad also. I didn't felt compelled watching the whole 36 episodes in one sitting. I just watch it in my spare time and can still enjoy it.
2. Acting/cast- The actors here are amazing. They portray their roles really well, especially the three main cast.
Usually when there is a love triangle, i always felt bad for the second male lead but here the male main lead makes you wish that you met him in real life. His love for main female lead is unconditional, he always want to sacrifice himself for the sake of his lover. This kind of role is usually seen on the Second ML. Although the second ML is also likeable because of the things he did for female lead and also want to sacrifice himself for her the only difference is the second ML wants her love in return while the main male lead just do it without expecting anything from her.
The villains here also did a job well done. They are not pure evil but becomes evil only because of the circumstances that they experience. All in all.. clap clap for all of the cast's hardwork..
3. Music- The music is astounding. I usually skip the opening and ending song but here i was smack by the incredible songs and background music they use. Even though i didn't understand the lyrics the melody itself works its magic.
4.Rewatch value- Like i said, i only watch it because of the unique story but i think i will only watch it once. Because i know the whole plot already it is enough for me ..
5. Ending- I can't say that it is a happy ending but a good ending.. I expect more from the ending because i watch those many episode just to get a satisfaction of the ending but i am quite disappointed with it. Maybe some viewers felt satisfied with this ending because some chinese drama has a more tragic ending than this. It is still good and it is still worth to watch.
It is just a preference if you watch it or not. But just a piece of advice for those that wants to watch it.. If you like the first 5 episode of the drama continue it until the end. Because this kind of story is for you. But if not just drop it, it might be a waste of time for you.
I hope this review will help you.. ^_^

Ending aside, this show is a lot of fun. It's a blockbuster type of drama. While there is story and character around the monarchy, with it's lead character of the crown prince, the show isn't too concerned with character development and a deep storyline. In many ways it fits in the disaster film genre. It isn't so much about its characters as it is more about the epidemic surrounding them. Which I think is fine. It presents itself as an epic and violent action feature, and it succeeds at that. The acting is great. The effects are great. It's a fun one to watch for sure. But damn you for making us wait a year on that type of cliffhanger.

The Great Idol Drama Detox
Post-2022 idol costume dramas have gradually convinced me that ancient China was inhabited almost exclusively by three types of people:Perfect porcelain-faced aristocrats.
Individuals who fall deeply in love after approximately two meaningful glances and one accidental rescue.
Political masterminds whose greatest strategic weapon is refusing to explain anything until Episode 36.
The First Jasmine is still very much an idol drama. It simply declines all three invitations.
First of all...
The pores.
Ladies and gentlemen, the pores have returned.
I cannot believe one of my biggest compliments of 2026 is simply this:
The actors look like people.
Skin texture. Tiny imperfections. Faces that have apparently encountered weather instead of being digitally moisturized into another dimension. After years of idol dramas resembling luxury skincare campaigns with occasional palace conspiracies, this felt absurdly refreshing.
Even the muted colour grading deserves applause. The world finally feels lived in instead of permanently illuminated. Oddly enough, realism became the most luxurious production value of all.
That same philosophy extends to the writing.
Recent idol dramas sometimes confuse complicated plotting with complicated people. The First Jasmine remembers that the second one matters more. Characters make decisions shaped by trauma, loyalty, responsibility, and political reality rather than conveniently forgetting their intelligence whenever the plot needs another misunderstanding. Ye Li's psychological trauma and Mo Xiuyao's condition aren't decorative tragedies waiting to be healed by love. They fundamentally shape who these people are.
On paper, Ye Li should have triggered my internal "this is getting ridiculous" alarm. She never did. The difference is that The First Jasmine never mistakes competence for character. It doesn't ask us to admire an impossibly capable woman. It asks us to understand the cost of becoming one.
Did I believe everything the plot asked Ye Li to survive and accomplish? No. But I believed enough of the emotional logic behind her choices that she never felt artificial to me.
The drama never seemed particularly interested in impressing me with Ye Li's competence. Instead, it kept asking a much more uncomfortable question:
What kind of life produces a woman who needs this much self-control just to survive?
That question follows Ye Li through almost every scene, which is precisely why her restraint never felt like emotional emptiness to me. It felt learned.
Which brings me to the most divisive part of the drama: The romance.
If you're expecting explosive chemistry, endless longing stares, enough slow motion to qualify as a weather event, and romantic tension capable of overheating your screen...
...this probably isn't your drama.
Because this isn't really about falling in love. It's about learning to trust. Those are not the same thing.
Their relationship grows through reliability, mutual respect, shared burdens, and slowly earned trust. Watching two emotionally exhausted people become each other's safest place may not produce fireworks every episode. It does produce something rarer. A marriage that actually feels earned.
Personally, I never found the chemistry lacking. Its idea of intimacy feels quietly old-fashioned in the best possible way. Trust matters more than butterflies. Reliability matters more than grand declarations.
Rather than constantly explaining every emotion or spelling out every revelation the moment it happens, it trusts subtext, quiet observations, and conversations that often reveal more than they explicitly say. The writing quietly trusts the audience to connect the dots instead of drawing the entire picture for them.
This is one of the rare dramas where conversations build relationships more often than kisses do.
Ironically, the very restraint that makes those relationships so believable also becomes the drama's biggest weakness.
The First Jasmine consistently chooses psychological continuity over immediate emotional gratification. Most of the time, I appreciated that decision. Occasionally, I wished it trusted emotion just a little more. Not because it takes its time, but because a few scenes remain longer than they need to after they've already said what they came to say.
More than once, I found myself admiring what a scene was trying to do rather than being swept away by it. I understood exactly what a character was feeling. I just didn't always feel it alongside them. That distinction ultimately keeps this from becoming truly exceptional.
The political storyline follows the same philosophy.
It rewards attention more than adrenaline.
Names matter.
Family histories matter.
Your attention span matters too.
I appreciated that.
Still, patience alone doesn't automatically create momentum. More than once I admired the architecture of the story while wishing the rooms felt a little more lived in.
Performance-wise Bai Lu won me over.
She understood that Ye Li's silence isn't the absence of emotion. It's how she has learned to survive. Trauma doesn't always announce itself through dramatic breakdowns. Sometimes it simply becomes the way a person speaks, hesitates and carries themselves.
Bai Lu never overplays that.
Neither does Cheng Lei.
The First Jasmine won't work for everyone.
It whispers where many dramas shout. It values emotional accumulation over emotional spectacle. Some viewers will call that boring. Others will call it refreshing.
I somehow landed comfortably between those two camps.
I never completely fell in love with this drama.
But I found myself appreciating almost every creative decision it made. In an era increasingly convinced that louder automatically means better, The First Jasmine quietly argues the opposite.
Real faces.
Believable motivations.
A marriage built on trust instead of spectacle.
It doesn't always reach the emotional heights it aims for. But it reminded me that the most refreshing thing this drama brought back wasn't the pores. It was people who behaved like people.
Best suited for viewers who enjoy psychologically grounded characters, mature relationships, restrained cinematography, and dramas that reward patience more than adrenaline.
Less suited for viewers looking for fast pacing, explosive chemistry, constant twists, or highly melodramatic romance.

A good pyschological thriller but definitely not for everyone.....
"The Doubt is a compelling psychological thriller that offers a unique take on the genre. The story revolves around a criminal profiler who finds himself entangled in a case that unexpectedly connects to his daughter. As he uncovers clues, he grapples with the unsettling possibility of his daughter's involvement, creating a tension-filled narrative that explores trust and doubt. What sets The Doubt apart is its deliberate pacing. Unlike many thrillers that rely on constant action and adrenaline, this drama rather opts for a more measured approach. The suspense builds gradually, allowing for a deep exploration of the characters and their motivations. The daughter, portrayed as a mysterious figure, adds layers of complexity, keeping viewers guessing about her true intentions.
The storytelling in this drama is slow, and I think it's intentional to build up the suspense and mystery surrounding the plot and the characters. Despite the slow pace, a lot can happen in a moment. It has this laid-back vibe that keeps you calm but intrigued by how the events unfold.
The characters are interestingly written. The dad can seemingly read a lot of criminals' minds but struggles to understand his own daughter's, reflecting their strained relationship. The daughter looks suspicious from the first glance; she’s secretive, smart, and a planner but also a loner. Her blank look at times shows a lack of feelings, adding to the intrigue. The side characters introduced for the murder case are also well-developed, with their stories connecting to the main plot, which I find interesting.
The acting is undoubtedly impressive. The overall production, the gloomy cinematography, the soundtracks, and everything else contribute to a great viewing experience.
However, When I say this drama isn't for everyone, I mean that some might find it slow or boring, and others may not appreciate the laid-back vibe. But if you’re looking for a good psychological thriller that’s thought-provoking and keeps you guessing with strong acting and interesting characters, then you should definitely check it out.
Note:
The Doubt may not appeal to everyone. Its slow-burn style may frustrate those seeking a fast-paced thrill ride. But for those who appreciate a psychological exploration of relationships and the intricacies of trust, this drama is definitely worth watching.

Another good piece from Author Kim!
Reviews gotten me skeptical but it surpasses my expectation.Author Kim is very well-known in writing different kinds of genre and this drama is like a combination of Goblin + Mr Sunshine where it has a little of the fantasy element with some foreign affairs politics. However, as this is the first drama over the past few years that wasn't produced Director Lee Eung Bok, the production wasn't that fantastic, but still okay.
For those who enjoyed fantasy, this will most likely be your cup of tea. However, do note that this is slightly more complicated than the other fantasy as it involves time travel, universe travel and space-time gap but I personally think that these have made the drama even more special! As someone who enjoy fairytale, I love how they created the monarch world and also where the king was riding on his white horse! Pure imagination!
A big applaud for the cast as well for portraying more than one role in the drama and slayed it! My favourite goes to Eun-seob and Jo Yeong!!!!!! He is so charming and cute at the same time in his totally different-character roles and really deserve much love omgggg!
Overall, I love it! Giving it a 9.0/10.0 as 1 mark goes to the excessive product placement that is out of nowhere. I don't really enjoy product placement in the drama, especially when they even designed their lines to promote the product, it gives me a C-drama vibes which I don't really fancy it. And this drama has really too much of it, it sort of ruin the whole atmosphere build up for this drama. Other than that, all good! :)

The Best Korean Dating Reality TV Show Ever!
I don’t usually give shows 9.5 stars but I really enjoyed watching Transit Love / EXchange. Going into it I didn’t know what to expect and I was pleasantly shocked at the emotions this program brought out of me. The storytelling was amazing and you could feel how genuine the cast was as they expressed themselves. I loved how they were all anxious at first but eventually everyone became comfortable with each other as if they’d known each other all along. I went through so much and I feel like I got invested to the point where I became attached to certain cast members. My emotions went from 0 to 100 at times. You’re going to feel happy, sad, angry and confused while watching their stories unfold but remember these are real people and it’s their life and their decisions so there’s nothing you can really do. The last 3 episodes stressed me out the most but I was happy because one of the couples I was rooting for since the beginning came through. Yeah… couples you may be rooting for won’t work out but don’t worry too much because in the end everyone grew from the experience. I even felt like I learned so much from watching these ex couples talk about their breakups, find closure, love and more importantly friendship. You can tell that the producers really put effort into choosing the cast because they all seem to be very charming individuals. I hope the friendships and relationships formed there last for a very long time. I hope they make season 2 with a new cast so I can experience a show like this again!Parts I didn’t like: The ending. It seemed too rushed (especially when the persons who brought in at the end only had a week to get to know everyone and make a decision) I didn’t like how everyone ended up confessing their feelings to each other. It would’ve been nice for them to meet each other individually as the car scenes made the environment and situation really tense / pressurizing. I also think next time around the producers should have challenges and actually pick the dates for persons so that everyone gets to go on a date with people they wouldn’t normally choose and get to know each other instead of picking the same persons all the time (at least in the first & second week) After that the contestants can be free to continue picking the person they feel a strong connection with and going on dates etc.
Other than that she show was definitely worth the watch. I don’t regret stumbling across this because it’s a show I feel like anyone can watch and easily like.
**I highly recommend it to persons who don’t know what to watch but want to watch more Korean dating reality shows like Single’s Inferno :) **

HIGH FIVE TO THE FACE!!!WITH A CHAIR IS WHAT I NEED!!
I honestly am too drained to write out my disappointment! So much wasted! As a Novel reader, this was such a slap to the face or should I say HIGH FIVE to the face!! The first episodes were good and then everything just derailed after they became a couple! Can't even blame Covid-19 because they finished before the lockdown thing. The ending was such utter disrespect to the source material..I can't even rewatch it.. the novel was so good! How do you mess up this much.. Win was adorable and he portrayed Tine well, including the insecurities, Bright however.....No comment
Wish my boy Gunsmile had more screen time. He actually made some scenes bearable...
This wasn't a romance story, this was a weird friends story! Not even Bromance. Atleast Bromance compels you to ship the couple, SaraTine just bored me in the last 3 episodes..

All my friends watched it and fell for it; they kept recommending so I watch it in order to find out the fuss that went around it.
2) Storyline/Plot:
This rom-com doesn't have the usual boring concept of other films, it has a new story that bumps out from crowd.
Positive points:
*There was a great self-introduction at the beginning of the film: it was a cool start.
*The love story was just great from how they met and all the weird yet sweet acts that would keep anyone interested.
*So much laughter in this film, it was really hilarious most of the time.
*Beside romance and laughter there were also some sad moments and captivating twists so it sort of got it all.
Negative points:
I couldn't find any, even if there was, they weren't so serious that would ruin the general story therefore there's no need to mention them.
Story: 9.5/10.
3) Acting/Cast:
*Jun Ji Hyun : This was the first and only work that I saw with this actress; she has a lot of potential since she prtrayed her role perfectly since I don't believe that there's any other actress that would portray the sassy girl the way she did: she was convincing, brought me laughter and some sorrow near the end: *Claps*
*Cha Tae Hyun : I really liked that actor, he has held the main lead male in a great way. The character was appealing to the point that I feel sorry for him since he always get hitted by both his mother and the girl he loves, so much laughter in those scenes xD
*I loved the chemistry between the leads and the way they acted in the park and in the club with school uniforms: I loved those scenes.
Cast: 8/10
Acting: 10/10
4) The ending:
It may sound weird but I saw it comming while it's supposed to be a "surprise".
Anyhow, it was a smart move to gather events in a way that would make the film end that way. Great end overall.
The ending: 8.5/10.
5) My impression (How did it affect me):
*This film made my day, I kept wondering why I haven't watch it sooner.
*I laughed a lot while watching this, it was a great K-film classic that deserves to be remembered.
My impression 9/10
6) Overall:
*If you like rom-coms then this is a must watch.
*If you like unusual yet sweet love stories then you would like this.
*If you like hilarious films with a strong female lead then this is for you.
Overall: 8.5/10

I'm not a fan of manga so I decided to see it just because it was ongoing and it was showing up on my explore page all the time. You can tell it's a manga adoption just by Risa's voice and Hiroto's haircut (you know that typical long manga hairstyle). To the plot ... I really like the fact that each episode is a little less than 30 minutes long which doesn't tires me unlike the typical 1 hour + long dramas. To be honest everything is happening really fast but again how long would be the storyline of a manga? It's definitely a drama for more mature audience or people who like a little bit of smut ;)
Now the story is quite basic : The typical virgin "never-had-a-boyfriend-before" girl fells in love with a mysterious, sexy , rich guy who's manipulative but she doesn't care (or understand it) because she's in love. It kinda reminds me of Twilight movies sometimes ( and I wasn't a fan ). Anyway I would really like to know what's his secret that he has to hide so well from her but from some spoilers I read that he might be bisexual and doesn't want her to know???? I guess I'll have to wait until the end to learn...
I would definitely re-watch it for the spicy scenes ;)
