More questions and some flirting

It looks like there are multiple sects after the boy in Zhou's care. I wonder why he's so special? Is it just because he's the son of the Mirror Lake sect's leader, or is there something more to him? 🤔Wen Kexing is proving to be quite the stalker and a major flirt. I honestly wonder if Zhou secretly likes the attention or not. It would definitely make me feel uneasy to be followed and stared at that way! 🤭During the night, Zhou had those black veins running again, so I’m convinced now that it's tied to the specific time of day. I'm waiting to see an explanation of how this works, if there will be any, of course. 🤨

More questions

I am still very confused about what's happening, but at least I’ve gathered that the nails are "eating" Zhou Zishu's body at midnight. It seems the wine, mixed with about 15 minutes of meditation, helps him manage the pain... maybe? I am not entirely sure yet. 🤔However, Wen Kexing's interest in Zhou Zishu is still a mystery to me. What does he mean when he calls him a "variable"? Is he planning to use Zhou Zishu for something specific? It definitely looks like a solitary, drunken life isn't going to work for Zhou Zishu, as he keeps getting followed by Wen Kexing—who always has that intense stare and flirty smile on him! 🤔😏

Blind curiosity

Starting this show was a bit of a whim because I've heard so many stories about how good it is. I’m going in completely blind, with no idea what to expect, other than it being a story about a deep bond between two men in the martial arts world. 🙂The concept of the "Seven Nails" seems like an interesting plot driver. So far, I have no real clue what’s happening—except that the main guy wants to die and has chosen a slow, painful way to do it. I don't quite understand his reasons for this particular choice yet, though I suspect it might be related to the death of his younger brother. 🤔😔I also discovered that this was apparently Zhou Ye's first role! I’ve only seen her as Yanhui in Back From the Brink, and comparing the two, this character seems somewhat similar—lots of energy and personality. 😏After just one episode I still know very little, but it is definitely interesting enough to keep me watching! 😏

Brutal ending for this episode.

The ending of this episode was a bit shocking and it certainly can be criticized as the writer using a pretty blatant plot trope. Some commenters on Viki didn't understand why it hits Yao Zhiming so hard. I think the reason it just floors him is that he had just bounced back from one moment being typically mad at his dad to suddenly seeing a glimmer of light: That maybe, maybe he could have a normal healthy relationship with his Dad, like he had never dared dream possible. And then just like that, the chance was gone.

I jsut wanna say that this hits hard!!

if i could have given a rating higher than 9.5 i would have given it....everything is just perfect....every one of the characters seem to come alive even better due to the precise acting and execution of each and every actors...Of course the storyline needs no intro...Though we all know that we cannot dream of living a kdrama life...but we can't stop dreaming about it and this story truely brings out this dream...Hats off to everyone who worked hard to create this masterpiece ....Hoping to see more of these shows in the future

I LOVE KDRAMAS MADE IN 2010s

ITS ABOUT a woman named bong soon who’s super strength passed over generations, however if used unjustly you would experience the consequences, like her mother losing her powers due to using the power and fame she gained as a weightlifter to mistreat others, however if she uses it right, like when she saved her and her brother, bonggi, now a medical student, from a kidnapper. And so bongsoon is an unemployed woman going on her day, when she witnessing a bus driver being beaten up form some thugs and bongsoon saved the driver from the thugs by beating them up, and all this was witness by min hyeok, the ceo of ainsoft, the company that produced bongsoon’s favourite game, who was getting blackmailed by someone, and he needed a bodyguard which gave him the idea to hire bongsoon. So now bongsoon decided to take on the job of being minhyeok’s bodyguard and find out who was blackmailing and threatening him, INKY TO FIND IUT NEXT DAY, JUST NEARBY HER HOUSE A MURDER HAPPENED DURING THE NIGHT AND IT WAS LOWKEY SCARY. Bidding convention and end game approaching

Wei and his new flunky are disappointed the bug was found so quickly. The rats are scrambling from the sinking ship. Marcos agrees MiYu is innocent but he has to prosecute if not resolved because he is speaking for the corporation not himself. He graciously gives Ji three days but warns his friend he may have to choose between MiYu and the hotel. Tan shows up and invites MiYu to run away to HongKong. She reflects on the pitfalls of entrusting your life to somebody else. She admits that in a different time she would have wanted this option, but it is the wrong time and they have different paths. This time there is no confusion with her refusal. She said Ji was only part of the reason. She is finally making headway on her own and wants to go as far as she can. While Ji is guilty of rescuing her, he is the only one that has encouraged her to make the most of her abilities and not rely on anyone but herself to move forward. For all his faults this is what she loves most about him. So Duan shows up and adds his two cents and Ji decides to delete the security footage. He knows it can be recovered but he needs more time to connect the dots. So our resident heartless has been having a bad day. She is confronted by the wife of her baby daddy and told to get out of Purong. Wei is going to find her another job like he is Mr reliable. Ji and Wei got into it and Auntie walks in. She is kicking Ji out and taking over the investigation. Ji and MiYu split up to cover more ground. MiYu will look into the new hire and Ji will check out Wei and security team. MiYu runs into Nie and he tells her ZhenZhen had been on the phone with her sister. He is looking better and might become a decent person after his divorces. Ji sees the altercation between ZhenZhen and Mrs Wei. The dots continue to connect when new hire was referred by ZhenZhen. Sister is on tape admitting her part in adding bug app. She was supposed to get 500k for doing it. I am not sure what bribe was offered to new hire. The actress playing Dai did an excellent job of repentant worker. She wrote a statement explaining her part in the bug case. She felt tremendous guilt when MiYu had only shown her kindness and her struggle with that was very well done. The facts were coming together to point out ZhenZhen but nobody knew her connection to Wei. I gotta admit I never expected heartless to just spill the tea across the board. They now all know Wei is the baby’s father. The chips are going to start falling and landing very hard. Rui has snuck into Wei’s room and getting something from computer when episode ends.

given the preview i guess Chen Hao Wei doesn't…

given the preview i guess Chen Hao Wei doesn't walk away from Xiao You - cause i was thinking it was so ironic that it was the opposite as kids.... & it was justified - even if i didn't really blame Hao Wei for his behavior or lack of backbone with the other kids. it aint easy standing up for what is right when ur a teen. so i couldn't blame or hate either for what happened. it was a sad situation that was created by the other kids & both leads had to sufferer the consequences. but i didn't get what the "shimmer" was when Xiang Yong's father was talking to his friends about his son. i thought they would ALL wake-up & not remember Xiang Yong at all. no one made a wish, so why we see that?!?************************************************************************regarding the 2nd couple - i love Hamaguchi, & i keep getting the feeling that Li Wan Zhe it taking advantage of his infatuation cause he knows/thinks that Hamaguchi is that "mad" about him, cause of the wish. so he is taking his feelings for granted & even abusing his "power" - which is annoying, cause i am sure Hamaguchi had feelings for Li Wan Zhe even before he made a wish. the wish just forced him to confess his feelings & maybe ratcheted up the intensity of what he felt from 10 to 100. so even though the main focus of this BL is the mains, i hope we get more on the 2nd couple - & when i say more, i mean where Li Wan Zhe realizes what a gem Hamaguchi is & that he needs to work equally hard to keep him

if i was her & considering how Ga U Su…

if i was her & considering how Ga U Su keeps targeting her i really would've just kept on walking & ignored his passed-out body. why the frack should i care?? mean of me lol but it is what it is - i get him being kinda on the spectrum & math crazy & that's why her low score might bother him enough to make her wanna improve. but he keeps finding odd reasons to signal her out - like turning her into Choi Go Ya's babysitter - what power she got to stop Choi Go Ya from walking out? if anything he should've asked the smart chick in that class - am sure she doesn't have all that extra work he keeps dishing out to Eui Ju....

Tricks and Targets

The Patriarch is quite clever... making everyone believe they are fighting for the real Dragon Sword... tsk tsk tsk 👆🤨However, to me it looked like Su Muyu and Bai Hehuai were a bit shocked in a bad way by how the Patriarch had tricked them. I wonder if that will change their relationship in any way. 🤔 And, of course, I could always turn out to be wrong, lol!Knowing this now, it's funny to think of all those guys believing they have become the Patriarch. Now the Mu family leader has not only a fake sword but also that promise Su Muyu made—to kill him with his own hands. And we all know Su Muyu keeps his word; it's like a personal code he lives by. 👆🤭But what else caught my attention was the Patriarch's question to the guy from the Soul Reaper Hall: "Who ordered you to kill Second Master Tang?" Does that mean the Patriarch wasn't the one who killed him and Black Tortoise is after the wrong guy? Or did I misunderstand something there? 🤔

Allegiances, Names, and Conditions

I am really enjoying all the internal politics within the families. Their relationships are quite complex—full of backstabbers, double agents, and those with hidden agendas. So interesting!I also loved the explanation behind the names Mu Yu and Chang He: the first meaning "Evening Rain" and the other "Prosperous River." Those names fit their personalities so well! 😏🤔😌One thing that confused me, however, was the conversation between Su Muyu and the Patriarch about the poison. I thought the red veins were the poison, but Mu Yu said he had dispelled it. Now the question is—are those veins something else, or was Su Muyu lying? 🤔Regardless, I loved how he told the Patriarch that his one condition was that Chang He's death is off-limits. That man is not to be touched! 😏 And the ending of the episode was amazing—Chang He knows best just how superior Mu Yu is to Su Ze in power and skill. And most importantly, even if just for a brief moment, I got to see my favourite couple of "enemies"! 🥰

Troubles abound

Things are still distant between MiYu and Ji. She should have collected the documents personally because now there is a signed form for them to cause trouble. Wei and a rival company are planning to bid against Marcos by planting a listening device. Leave it to Wei to bargain with ZhenZhen and still come out 12 million ahead. She plants the device in the vase of silk flowers that MiYu took to Marcus’ room so MiYu has become the perfect fall guy for their actions. The sister isn’t stupid, is she looking to access MiYu’s bank or is she involved with ZhenZhen and helped link up the phone to device? Nie’s mom shows up pleading for her son. MiYu said no, but changed her mind and went to the hospital. She changed her mind again but accidentally bumped into Nie anyways. She tucked him in better but refused any personal contact. As she walks away from him he asks to eat and ends his food strike. There is no getting away from the loss of her, but her success and light inspired him to move forward rather than give up. She had far less than him so he had no excuse to not continue on. MiYu won her court case over divorce assets so it’s rather timely sis comes and gets ahold of Mi Yu’s phone. MiYu is boxed in nicely from all sides and the only thing that can save her is if ZhenZhen is caught on camera hiding the device in the vase. Mr Tan has opened a gallery in Shanghai and MiYu visited to congratulate him. She asks to see the painting he’s working on and it turns out to be a painting of her. She doesn’t quite know how to respond to that. She is his lovely muse and he is left looking at his inscription on the back. In the interrogation room, MiYu spoke frankly about what she did and did not do with the vase and Ji will have to find the evidence to clear her. She awaits interrogation and told to be honest with her answers. If the sis is involved they could do a clean sweep of getting rid of all of them. But if she has her own side caper going there will be another wasted episode on family shenanigans. These people have to go. 😝

hua jing will always remain a crack in this show. it’s up to you to see if it’s art or not.

one of the things i have been majorly divided on in my original watch is how hua jing is handled. i have a lot of complicated feelings about the complicity of other women in misogyny ,i also think that in this series where so many female characters are given depth & nuance hua jing is written off so easily with damn near every misogynistic character trait. she is a caricature & she does become a problem with deconstructing how certain women with undesirable personalities are punished in this show like jin’e constantly needing to be humbled. hua jing is positioned right next to hua xian who is the perfect victim & it’s really a hard watch. shao yao & shen huan are cute. i am really fond of aunt qin. chen heng does the character justice. aunt qin ,very ironically after all i had to say about hua jing ,is a caricature character. as in the type that is so over+dramatized but this archetype is something that takes me back home. she isn’t smart but she’s not malicious. she very importantly does not want to hurt another but she’s also a coward & somepony i want to see be loved & cared for.

The machinations of a heartless

Tan and ex have a brief chat where she realizes the choice to be CFO kept her there rather than wife. She shares some regret that that is where they truly are now rather than it being their unique confession to each other. She sees that Tan is in love with MiYu and wishes him happiness. When he was dancing with MiYu she was waiting for Ji to interrupt and claim their relationship. He should have interrupted their dance and groveled. Instead he has a major pity party for himself. He should have left a note on her door that he’d been there instead of her thinking he never bothered to show and him thinking something happened with Tan. MiYu goes to New Zealand to get the last points for Ji. With this, even tho she is still unhappy with him, I think she wants to follow through for him the way he did for her at the exhibition. She was successful in persuading a meeting at Purong so things seems hopeful. Here I am disappointed in the Wei matriarch. If a severe scolding would have truly straightened out her nephew he would have been straightened out decades ago and never have remained the petty juvenile he still is. He has a point that he should have been told more directly far earlier and his petulant diatribe should have let her see the light that he has no aspirations whatsoever to change his ways. In the game Kingdom Hearts there are evil beings called heartless. They are devoid of any good intentions and their goal is to spread darkness. ZhenZhen is a perfect example of one of them. She leaves a dark wave fallout wherever she goes and she keeps looking forward for more. Her only failure in this regard is that MiYu grew brighter because of her interference and this annoys her no end. We have watched Nie’s decline physically. The actor has portrayed this so well. He has come to accept that there is nothing but a business arrangement between him and his wife and he is reaping all the benefits of letting the career woman enter his house. This misery he has earned and deserves, but I find myself pitying him that his health decline is concurrent. So his chosen heartless has the audacity to bring divorce papers to his hospital bed to sign. After that, she returns to her cluttered home and confronts the mother in law. She has the ace because she makes it clear that the child she holds isn’t Nie’s. Nie has learned the news and his bitterness is complete. With this, he deserved it. He gave up a devoted wife that loved him in spite of his ways and tossed her for the career woman that added spice in his life and the promise of a grandson. This all tastes like ash now as the truth is revealed. ZhenZhen has yet to complete her dark wave. She ends up showing Wei proof that her child is his and not Nie’s. No wonder she had no fear at the company and was willing to hold hands with Kuanli. Her price for silence is the director of sales. Ji had already assigned that to new hire Meng because I think he has a different job in mind for MiYu. And right when everything seems to be settled Wei comes in and gets ZhenZhen VP of sales. He has a son to look after now.😝 At least there will be some interference with their plans via Meng. ZhenZhen has achieved her new goal and she has leveled up considerably in her degree of coldness and ambition. Wei deserves whatever she throw at him. He has ousted his foils so he is the last stooge left and end game is approaching. This time, he won’t have anyone to push in front for the blame.

Perfect episode

This was a good episode. It was funny and romantic. I enjoyed the detail where , in the beginning Mechoori walks through each door reluctantly but just before it closes, showing how he is entering Ye-jin's territory and heart. The part where Mechoori turns into an actual mechoori was also really funny. Also, the part when Ye-Jin tried the food and her mind was blown, it reminded me of Bon apetit your majesty where he always had that reaction. I love it when Mechoori smiles, its heartwarming. Also the older sister of Na-Som, seems really annoying in the upcoming episodes.
