An ironic death and the first cracks in the wall

I was very glad to see Lord Lv go. Smart, smart Ye Li with her little manipulations got rid of him so quickly! And what an ironic death for Lord Lv—to be buried alive, have a tree planted on top of his grave, and even be told to make sure the tree is more lush than the one he cut... But I fear Marquis Muyang—he seems way worse than Lord Lv ever was. Super-tiny progress for Ye Li with Mo Xiuyao, but it's there... the barely noticeable movement at the corner of his lip upon hearing she wouldn't let anyone bully him was the first crack in his wall... and a reason for him to become a little bit curious about her. Wonderful, wonderful! P.S. Mo Xiuyao's "spy" brought a little comedy to this so far overall serious drama... I am looking forward to his entertaining scenes!

i really feel sad & bad for LuFeng, know…

i really feel sad & bad for LuFeng, know shocker as he is the "bad-guy" here, the selfish one - supposedly... his only fault IMO is that he is obsessed with someone selfish - no, LuFeng isn't without fault, but u can understand where it comes from & what makes him tick, if u take his life with his family/father/lack of mother into consideration & after he found love - life didn't get any better or smoother. there was hurdle after hurdle that he felt he needed to overcome alone & it's not that Xiao Chen would be waiting for him at the end of the ordeal with a smile & open arms. nope, he would then have to again fight to prove his love, for Xiao Chen to throw him a bone. *****************************************************************************************so yes LuFeng needs therapy, so he realizes he deserves better - not just how not to get this obsessed with someone just cause u/he fell in-love with them. ***********************************************************************************************************Xiao Chen on the other hand is a masochist & a sadist all rolled up in one. he was enjoying LuFeng's rough treatment & wasting away in that house... he didn't put up a fight - not the once & when he finally acted like he wants to break out - it was in front of LuFeng so he would get manhandled - ***********************************************************************************************even if front of his ex wife he was enjoying the humiliation & dominance ritual, not putting up a fight for himself or her, but the sec the one he had wrapped around his finger was gonna get hurt & the one that gave him what he wanted - both pleasure & pain was gonna get taken out he came between him & the bullet. u call it love - i call it what it is. **********************************side note: his weeping over his brother, like miss me his ex-wife was rich & he had a high paying job with her. u telling me he didn't have to money to search for his younger sibling if he really wanted too? really? but it was more important for him to come meet LuFeng then his only living family - but LuFeng the bad guy? hmmm interesting

Sisters

One of the cool things developing in THIS life for Ning is that she and her sister seem to be forming some sort of mutual sibling bond. Hopefully that will persist and grow in this life and not be poisoned by some schemer.

Strong finish to the series.

After recently watching so many c-dramas that start out great and then Peter-out and have lame final few episodes or even outright stupid awful final few episodes, this show was great. The whole Le Shan + Yang Xian romance plot was easily as strong and enjoyable as any of the other sister's romance plots. And I found it extra enjoyable because unlike her older sisters, Le Shan (and Yang Xian) had to really grow up through significant changes in their characters over the course of their romance.

Lessons learned

1. I'm glad they immediately indentified the issue they had with the order transfer. Also, their guest celebrity knew to check the completed items so it's easy to review; she didn't just take the food.2. Chef briefly showed his strictness when he asked them to review the order slips. 🤣 He was also about to do it himself but decided they better do it.Again, it's understandable if he lowered his standards because they're celebrities and newbies. But not too much. They need guidance, and they are also representing the Philippines. A little strictness will go a long way. I hope Chef will feel more comfortable and show more of his real style, afterall, the Chef is the one who runs the show in a fine dining restaurant.3. Someone who can speak Hangugeo was definitely very helpful. I guess that's how they started inviting Korean celebrities.4. Dish washer. Still no dish washer crew? Didn't have to be on camera, just behind-the-scenes.The dishwasher can come when they're about to close, that way they can rest. The celebrity chef was too tired already during their dinner slot, it was showing on her face—I'm guessing she did the dishes again.5. The two Korean singers, were they guests? They were familiar, I think I've seen them in other shows before, or in YouTube. The moment the camera panned on them, I knew they're celebrities too.6. The married couple. I'm suspecting they're part of the Korean production team. They're too comfortable being filmed, and they knew how to make funny scenes without overdoing it. Unless of course they are naturals, in which case, they should pursue a career in variety shows. 😀7. The solo diner. I'm suspecting she's a vlogger. A food critique vlogger. She was too professional and comfortable.Which brings me to the question I've been wondering for a few episodes now, what percentage of their customers were picked or invited vs who just passed by and ate?Or, maybe, the correct question to ask is, did Kumusta viral in Korea during the filming of E05? Most of their dinner customers had a different vibe than the previous ones. 😁Nothing wrong with inviting specific people, but it is a curious thing to know how much was natural and how much were random folks who got curious about it.

BRING NIRAN BACK

Omg! I love this episode. Literally cried so much. Please bring niran back. He was misunderstood by the person he loves the most. He had to betray the whole other team and release what they worked hard for and couldnt face them. He had no peace of mind. And just when pete came back, he disappeared just like that. Please bring our Ajarn Niran back. Our boy! The transition from the manipulation to the ritual through Sky's face was insane. 2 different locations, 2 different times, yet the transition was so smooth because of sky's acting. HE SHOULD WIN AWARDS!

I genuinely hate when dramas do things like this. There's literally no logical reason for them to break up. So because you're sick you're gonna purposely hurt the person you care about so you don't hurt them......make that make sense. For a psychiatrist he makes some pretty stupid decisions when he should know better. There's only 4 eps left they could've just focused more on the murder mystery instead of tearing do and relationship just to probably have them rebuild it when it all could have been avoided

this was such a wholesome ending - they all…

this was such a wholesome ending - they all started crying & i started laughing, then Azuma joined in. this whole BL was like a warm soothing bath. when Kuji gave Azuma i rejoiced more then i would've with a love confession. & i guess for them that is a major step as i would've wanted him to offer cohabitation. but they so happy together & love each deeply that i guess a verbal confession like a verbal commitment wasn't necessary - this was very sweet & i loved the vibe from start to finish.

A fly and a horse

I just can't tolerate what they are doing to Mo Xiuyao! I wouldn't expect to hate a character so soon, but I do hate Lord Lv! Immensely. However, I quite enjoyed A'Li's visit to her Uncle Wenshen, and absolutely savoured her and Mo Xiuyao's interactions (especially the bath/pond scene and the study scene). I practically live for those interactions and want to see how she, step by step, will get through his thick walls. At the moment, they look like a little annoying fly taunting a big grumpy horse on a hot summer day, and I love it!

this has been so much fun that it has speed by & next week will be the last 2 eps. bummer & yet fitting - i thought Hwang Seok Ho would've smartened up after how Baek treated Min Gu. but i guess the promotion is all he can see. hope Kang Seong Jae will win the competition & prevent Ganglim Outpost from closing down.& but more importantly i want Baek to get caught.

Mo Xiu Yao's POV towards his wife.

Ahhhh, I’m absolutely in love with this story. It’s so incredibly sweet!! Spoiler alert: seeing things from Mo Xiu Yao’s perspective regarding his girl was just amazingssss!! Cheng Lei and Bai Lu are a perfect match for their roles. I’m loving it so much so far.The highlight of episode 4 is definitely Mo Xiu Yao's POV towards his wife."Don't let your life become a show in their eyes." – Ye Li

Three Stars

This episode is frustrating. I never thought the new deputy chief would make a mistake this early. I was even thinking she's onto something with her comment about how Mr. Mu got the hospital's ownership and then she just blurted out a very important info on a suspect they're looking out for in front of him. She can excuse herself without being so specific about it especially in front of someone who's not really involve in police work. Because of that , someone in the team got hurt. I'm starting episode 3 now and it doesn't seem like she will realize what she did. Let's see what happens later...
