The 💋💋

Episode 3 of Perfect Crown had the perfect mix of comedy and romance. The contrast was so fun both leads stressing out their poor secretaries individually, but the moment they’re together, everything just softens and flows. That dynamic is honestly so entertaining to watch. And Byeon Woo Seok saving her? That scene was EVERYTHING calm, protective and effortlessly intense. Then that final kiss… unexpected but so satisfying. The chemistry really leveled up in this episode.

Adrenaline rush peaked 📈📈📈📈

Episode 4 of Perfect Crown really raised the stakes more intensity, emotional tension, and that unexpected twist made it even more gripping. The chemistry keeps getting stronger and the story just pulls you in deeper. And Byeon Woo Seok is absolutely owning his role his calm, restrained exterior with all that hidden emotion adds so much depth. I’m always a sucker for him being nonchalant on the outside but secretly so chalant inside.

Will Ren Tian Zhen ever grow up?

Once again, this show is working hard to make Ren Tian Zhen as unlikable as possible. Because once again he is putting HIS wants over anybody else's concerns and once again he is not really thinking about the consequences. When Sun Tou Tou asks him point-blank if he is doing this (threatening to move out) because he is in love with Meng Meng, he waves it off with a "don't speak nonsense!" remark. But he doesn't stop to really think about the ramifications of his behavior towards Meng Meng and, in particular, stop to think, well, "What does Meng Meng think?" Because if others (his Grandpa, his Mom and now Sun Tou Tou) are wondering if he is inappropriately attracted to Meng Meng, the obvious question should be whether SHE thinks he is? And what kind of effect that could have on her fragile psyche if it isn't really the case? He seems so determined to play the role of hero doctor for Meng Meng - because it makes HIM feel good - that he simply isn't thinking about the longer term consequences on others. Again. Now, it is a good sign that his behavior towards Sun Tou Tou has improved dramatically over the last 5 episodes to where he's almost a normal human towards her. But his core issues of arrogance and impulsive, selfish behavior are still there. The longer they put off him taking steps to 'grow up', the more unrealistic it will seem if they rush it in the end.Despite the annoying nature of the RTZ character, this _show_ continues to be fascinating for a variety of low-key reasons. The character development of just about everyone else is forward and interesting. The topics discussed in this episode are interesting - especially like the practical approach to the challenging social questions Rebecca expresses. And of course, Sun Tou Tou continues to entertain. In one scene screaming, "Charge!" playfully and in another moment thoughtfully and practically training the hotel staff on how to do their jobs and then closing out the episode with some thoughtful life and career advice for Mr Liu's son! And as crazy as it seems, it all makes sense, given the nature of the character that Zhou Lusi has crafted!

hmm idk how i feel about this, was happy to see the guys from Love in the Air - even though i don't get how they connected or why they r in this, but whatever... & it would be an interesting premise especially with he bride already having her special someone. but from the way Lom & Yiwa spoke at the end of the ep, it seemed to me that they r planning to marry & lead separate lives - with the people they r attracted too. which might be ok with Yiwa & her partner Marine. ************************but who in their right mind would want to get in a relationship, where u know u r the mistress & could only be with the person u love in secret?!? will always/forever remain a secret, cause there is an official wife?!? this toxic & kinda messed-up, especially given how Lom was totally playing mind games with Namnuea from the sec he sat down in front of him. *************************the typical "pulling of the hair of the person u like" is immature childhood playground behavior, as a child wouldn't know how to communicate their feelings & might even not know how to interpret what they feel. so bugging the person they like & getting any kind of reaction, would be seen as a plus. given Lom's age & position in life, one would think he could do better then harass Namnuea at his job. but i guess this a romcom & it's supposed to be funny. it was up to a point & then started getting infuriating. i hope as this progresses Lom stop gaslighting Namnuea & this doesn't end up Namnuea in the role of mistress - if that is the case i would've loved a heads- up so i wouldn't even bother.. oh well time will tell

DUANG SO CUTE

Okay so Semester’s over and DUANG’S worrying about how he won’t see Qin for so long due to the break, and so he convinces the seniors, Alice and Tim, who are the ones going over the open evening ceremony and the performances, to let them practise for the ceremony performance over the break, so now Qin and Duang would be seeing each other more often. Now Duang goes to a camera shop only to accidentally bump into Qin, AND DUANG WAS AGAINST QIN AND OH GOSH WAS THAT A POSITION TO REMEMBER. And so softer Duang and Qin spent the whole day together and even had ramen together, and Duang tell Qin how he’s worried about his singing for the performance, WHICH IS WHEN QIN OFFERED HIM TO PRACTISE HIS SINGING AT QIN’S PLACE LIKE WOAHHH. OH AND QIN EVENTUALLY FOLLOWED DUANG ON INSTA, AND DUANG CALLED HIM DURING THE NIGHT TO WISH HIM SWEET DREAMS AND THAT DUANG WOULD DREAM OF HIM, LIKE OMG HE SO CUTE.

is it even worth to root for?

Many characters made me angry before, and as much as I liked Shirasaki character in the first season, I begin to despise him in the second one. He is insensitive, selfish and can't stop making everything about himself. I am enraged to see Asami finally open up, for Shirasaki to behave as if he is the only one suffering. He seems to never see Asami for who he is and neither is he trying to. Obviously, Asami is a closed-off character and he is definitely not perfect either. But as much as I was rooting for this pairing to be together (as they share this comfortable silence and peace with each other) I am also disappointed to see that they can't communicate beyond that. At some point you have to start talking with each other and take more care about another elements of each others lives, beyond acting carrier. Asami tries his best to be someone like that, while Shirasaki gets lost. It is a pity, because in the first season I really liked him and understood him much better.

DUANG IS SO CUTE WHEN HE’S TRYING TO GET QIN TO FALL FOR HIM

Duang is doing anything he can to get Qin to fall for him, like bro got TWO FULL BAGS of snacks, with handwritten notes for Qin but he didn’t take it, so he later made stickers of himself to stick everywhere Qin would go, but then Qin told Duang take them all off since it was affecting others, and after Duang made chocolate balls of white and dark chocolate, and gave it to Qin with different coloured wrappers wrapped around it and told him if he picked white chocolate, Qin would have to do something for him, and if he picked dark chocolate then duang would do something for him, AND QIN PICKED THE WHITE CHOCOLATE ONE SO QIN LET HIM DROPP HIM OFF HOME. AFTER Duang found Qin at basketball practise where Duang was approached by a senior who wanted him to dance for the university’s open evening to which he said yes once he found out Qin would be his partner. SO YAYY I THINK QIN IS SLOWLY FALLING FOR HIM.

NO STOP THIS IS THE BEST BL IVE WATCHED AND WILL WATCH

It’s so cutesy it’s basically about this guy named duang, an art student, who’s fallen in love with a first-year music student, named qin, after he sang at a school concert, and now duang finding out more and more about him (BY FOLLOWING QIN AROUND AND QIN’S NOTICED AS WELL) AND DUANG EVEN SAVED QIN FROM A GUY WHO WAS FOLLOWING HIM AND THE SCENE WAS SO HILARIOUS SINCE DUANG WAS TRYING TO ACT TOUGH. AFTERWARDS PAE, DUANG’S FRIEND, CATFISHES TONG, QIN’S FRIEND, TO GET QIN TO A FESTIVAL WHERE DUANG CONFESSES TO QUN AND TELLS HUM TO GET READY SINCE DUANG’S GONNA MAKE QIN FALL FOR HIM, AND QIN PULLS HIM CLOSE AND TELLS HIM GOOD LOCK. LIKE OMG BRO MY STOMACH DID A WHOLE BACKFLIP WHEN DUANG CONFESSED.

it hits too close to home

i picked this kdrama as my ongoing watch because apparently the writer also writes my liberation notes, my mister, and another miss oh. human drama, huh? i need that kind of injection so here i am.as someone who calls myself a writer but has never debuted, i relate to dongman. he is written in a very human way.. i cannot hate him. yes, his jealousy is too much. yes, he's depressed. yes, he is a human being. i get it, he might appears annoying to some viewers, but i hope people will not hate him hehe.to me, the highlight of this episode goes to the one when eunah pointed out dongman's mistake in the script. that thing about power... about not able to write about something that you don't own... i cannot put my finger on it but it really makes me want to review my writings.overall, this drama makes me want to write more. and to live more. happy monday everyone
