I love the communication between ML and FL, e.g. start of ep 3. Everything is said, and it is said in a ... polite and sophisticated way, to the point. They are both smart and observantThis drama started so fluffy, flounting the good looks of ML, but it turned into ... well.. how to call it? psychological melodrama or psychological thriller is not the right word ... there is no sticky feeling in this drama... ... This drama has a HEALTHY vibe ....This drama is about ppl communicating honestly, using the communication to learn something about the other and about themselves! being self observant and realizing how they feel and think, and saying it and acting on itit turned into an extremely deep drama about how people communicate and growI love ep 3 it is so meaningful and so deep, the script is great, and acting is stellar.

Closure — choosing yourself and drawing the line

Episode 7 delivers real closure, even though it’s painful to watch. The FL is forced to stand by and witness her ex-fiancé’s wedding — an already cruel situation made worse when his mother locks her in a room, terrified she might expose his two-timing. What hurts most is that the FL endures it in silence, afraid that speaking up could negatively impact the ML and his company.The turning point comes when the ML refuses to let her carry that burden. He makes it clear that she doesn’t owe anyone her suffering — she can do what she wants, and she doesn’t have to endure anything for his sake. And with that permission, she finally exposes her ex-fiancé’s lies. It’s messy, painful, and incredibly freeing.Injured and emotionally drained, she’s taken home by the ML, and it’s here that his softer side really shines. He quietly gets her medicine and calls her best friend without making a big deal out of it — small, thoughtful actions that say far more than words ever could. He’s clearly softening toward her.Just as one villain exits, another enters. This time, the threat is tied directly to the ML — the heir of a rival company. It’s obvious there’s more to the ML’s past than he’s letting on, and this newcomer seems intent on using that knowledge to his advantage. He’s already trying to sow discord between the ML and FL, and while it looks like it might work… something tells me the ML won’t be that easy to shake.Closure comes at a cost — but it finally feels like the FL is standing on her own terms.

didn't get why J had to rush read Jinn's diary but i guess it was so Jinn would see & then they would have that mini confession moment. which i really loved how J hugged Jinn & told him not to question him as he wasn't sure about his feelings & needed to think about it, before giving him any kind of answer. for the J we know until this moment it was very mature & thoughtful - Van was right the accident or the premonition's made J mature in a blink... *************************************************************regarding the 2nd couple i donno yet if Van too has feelings for Farm or he is just noticing what a catch he is & wondering if he could develop feelings for him & if that is something he should pursue, as it could hurt their friendship..

Past and present collide

The groom is sure nervous.🤣😂 He has mommy do the dirty work for him by locking Xiu in a distant room away from the guests. Yu has succeeded in getting Xie’s interest and he asks to see Yu’s designs. This is where Xiu was supposed to be in the conference room already. Her VR experience is paying off. She knows she can’t let her boss down so she climbs out the window. The only silly thing she did was try keeping one shoe on. That caused the ankle injury jumping down. She shows up at just the right moment barefoot and with designs in hand. Yu of course noticed but one thing at a time. He explains completely his position on seeking awards and has won Xie over. He wants to know how Xiu lost her shoes. She won’t explain but does accept the slippers. She wants to wait there til the wedding is over. He gives her a choice. He assures her he won’t be embarrassed by her shoes or if she wants to stay there and feel lesser because of her ex, she could enjoy the breeze. I am sorry he gets to go through the wedding. When he fumbles the ring and Xiu finds it, Yu won’t let her pick it up and looks right at groom making him bow at her feet to get the ring. His vows, he is not good at improvisations and it is clear what the audience thinks of them.😝When the bride comments how inappropriate Xiu’s shoes are, Yu agrees. But he directly asks the Ma in law to return them. She can’t deny because she is caught dead to rights by security camera, As she fumbles responding to that accusation, events change and the father brings the happy couple over to Yu and his date for a toast. I love that he looks at Xiu and asks if ok to toast the groom.🥰 He is paving the way for her but gives way to let her handle the situation as she chooses. It comes out that Xiu and groom were acquainted and why. She tells him what she thinks of him and tells the bride how her engagement was called off 3 months ago. Xiu suggests she cuts her losses early.😝 once again Yu is giving her shoes.😂🤣 He then offers piggy back carry to spare her ankle. She is concerned her situation with ex will change client’s view of him. He agreed that it might but he would just build him another award winning building.😁 Once back she asks to be dropped off at the game venue. He knows it is over but drops her there as requested and takes the time to observe where she goes. He has figured it out and calls her bestie filling her in that Xiu needs meds and a friend. These two are a very good support system for Xiu. She tells Zhao that once she found out she was only a place holder for ex, she no longer felt responsible for the break up or had any more to say to him than she did. She can let it all go and move forward. When she gets back to work their lead designer was no longer there. No surprise he was the mole. When everybody is heading to Lymen’s for competition meeting, Xiu is behind getting documents and runs into him. She tries to prevent him entering and enter arrogant ass number one. He fakes the hero nicely and they share an elevator to meeting. He ends up being behind her when they get to the conference room. Xiu is explaining but Yu only has eyes for Pei. In the conference room, she finds out who her rescuer is, the heir of Zhuling and his name, Pei. Yu is listening closely and can tell from the conversation it was a happenstance meeting and no prior colluding. I loved that he did shake the jerk’s hand, but not until he stood up so he could look down while doing it.🤣😂 I got a lot of satisfaction from that move. He was still courteous but in like fashion as the offer.😝 It is no surprise that he lobbied for the snooty director from Dynamism. It is nauseating to watch this pseudo gangster atmosphere with his henchman slapping the poor shmuck surprised he’s been lied to. He has caused his own career demise and isn’t going to find sympathy from the boss he left or the boss he thought would be next.😝 Can’t feel sorry for him and only glad he will have no career influence over Xiu. He has made himself persona non grata and received very quick karma. Glad he has all those degrees he likes to brag about.😝🙄The name change comment reveals some history between Pei and Yu. Whatever went down, it resulted in Yu’s name being changed and Pei being asked to address him by the other name. He smirks at Yu but pays too close attention to Xiu. His character just gives you the shudders in how overtly snakelike he comes across. He makes no effort to hide it. He thinks that is part of his powerful charm.😝

The Villains Are In Control

Spoilers RSB is imprisoned as a thief when treasure from the Rong Mansion has been found in the mountain on RSB’s plantation. The whole matter was orchestrated by Yunshu and Yang Twin. The corrupt governor seizes the moment to accuse RSB of harboring bandits in an effort to nurse his grudge against her for supporting Madam Yang. (He had really been the one behind the whole Wei/Yang corruption where Madam Yang was the scorned victim, abused by both parties.) This is his moment to finally topple the formidable Rong empire. Yunshu’s hand in this is clear to everyone except Grandma who is now in forced confinement by Yunshu under the guise of “she fainted and needs to rest.” Yunshu refuses to let the sisters see Grandma. Yunshu is the now in control of the household. Mr. Bai pleads with her to quit her coup and gives her an ultimatum—leave with me in three days or else I go to the authorities. Will Yunshu yield?

J loves teasing & annoying Jinn, they funny together & love that their parents r friends it's give this whole BL a very cozy warm feeling. but wonder how they gonna react when their son suddenly start dating. **************************************************regarding the dreams/visions why now he suddenly getting them? cause people who what any type of ability, have it since birth. hope it is explained by the end. the fact J doesn't know how to "deal" i get it - cause it has landed on him like a ton of bricks & this has never happened to him before so he wouldn't know how to interoperate, let alone deal with it in real time. ****the 2nd couple r cute (well Farm is hot) & i feel like he already has feelings for Van, but as Van is a player that has dated only girls until now he isn't letting his guard down & keeps trying to keep things strictly platonic.

Sigh ... writers resorting to plot-induced-stupidity.

This episode was a big let-down in quality again as the writers have Xy Yan acting very stupid and gullible. She allows herself to be influenced by Steve's obviously slanted take on Shen Hao Ming's actions. She also mysteriously acts like she wasn't aware of the whole Jinda + Barakin deal that SHM has been working on. And finally when they talk about how someone is aggressively targeting SHM she stupidly says, "That's not my concern". That makes no sense to say because whomever is targetting Hao Ming is using HER to do so! So of course it is 'her concern. And it's also why it means he has a _responsibility_ to help protect her from those attacks. This is all pretty simple and obvious and yet the writers are making her act stupidly just so we can have another episode or two of mistaken intentions and drama. The 'drunken hijinks' to start the episode were also kind cringy and contrived and didn't really work all that great. This is only the 2nd really dumb episode so far. Hopefully they will bounce back after this and restore the script quality.

Goodbye to the old villain and hello to the new villain

He Xian Wo the master of decaying immortal pavilion is ready to launch his plans by opening up the immortal array. Not only that but leading his clan and the spirit clan to attack the other sects of the immortal alliance. Xie Xue Chen and Mu Xuan Ling use their energy to try and close up the array. Mu Xuan Ling has an idea to enter the dark abyss to try and stop Sang Qi from any intentions he has of leading his troops into the human world. Plus she knows Sang Qi treats her as his disciple/daughter and wouldn't kill her even if she has the chaos pearl. Shd meets him and finds out he has no will to live anymore since his time is running low and so he can rest with Su Ning Xi. He gives up a spiritual energy filled with power into Mu Xuan Ling's body as he dies. Past memories of him and his love are shown before he vanishes away. There goes our main villain for the first half of the show but all along he wasn't that evil to begin with. Xie Xue Chen enters the dark abyss to help Mu Xuan Ling. They used Sang Qi's spiritual energy along with their's to help close up the immortal array. They both collapse knocked out. When she wakes up, she sees someone and this is the fallen diety mentioned in the previous episode. I think he's like a demon lord. But the biggest shock is that this demon lord who was sealed away and has awakened is played by the ML actor Zhang Bin Bin who is the other version that saved a young Mu Xuan Ling back then. I did not expect that. Zhang Bin Bin playing two different types of characters in this show both the hero and villain. I was convinced that Nan Xu Yue would take over as the new villain because of him working with the decaying immortal pavilion. Also I can't stand his character now faking being nice with the protagonists/still in love with Mu Xuan Ling even tho she's clearly with Xie Xue Chen. The viewers are the biggest winner who will get to watch Zhang Bin Bin play a evil role now and trying to seduce Mu Xuan Ling as his love.
