cute 1st ep, liked Guy he adorable. but i don't get Whal, does he know that Guy has a crush on him? or does he just enjoy the fact that he is Guy's only friend so the sole focus is on him?!? & as Guy doesn't have a life he will always be there when Whal want's to hang out?!? either way he is taking him for granted & if u made a "date" with a bff u don't spring a stranger on them. & then just hangout with the person u brought. if i was Guy the sec i saw that i was being turned into the 3rd wheel i would bail.**i donno yet what to make of Thiu, he's good looking but we knew that going in lol - but is more a bounce then a mafiaso, but that's coming to a conclusion from what i saw - cause a mafiaso wouldn't just beat the crap out of those "clients" he would do some permanent damage, especially after getting his palm cut. so we have to see more. ******************************************also from the description i assumed that Guy & Thiu were more then just players in the same group, the way it is portrayed i thought they used to have private conversations after they played & the others in the group left. from what there is in this ep it doesn't seem the case. there for sure aint no "...kind sister.." vibes

Of loneliness, guilt, doubt, injustice, misunderstanding and more. This was a great drama to watch! Has all the elements I like-romance, comedy, mystery. I like that no one really stood out as a killer. I was suspicious of everyone but no one seem to be bad and ruthless enough to do the murder. Feel good right up to the end.

The body was a model and the suspects were one percenters. Jin told the detectives who each one was they entered the room. Detective Lee still hates him but she and Jin bounce ideas back and forth and get the job done between them. When the case was closed and they were at their celebratory dinner the kid of the group had the right question for Detective Lee….why was she splitting up the team when Jin had been helpful? He of course had a meal planned for all of them that she snubbed and made the other two feel guilty if left her choice of places. It was rather petty and she’s running out of excuses to be mean spirited. Jin’s step mom makes detective Lee look like a sweet angel comparatively. She is a horrid woman and it is no wonder his dad has the disposition he does married to this harpy😝 We now know they are step brothers and the family was combined. Jin asked him why he didn’t hate him when they invaded his home. He did at first, but his harpy mother was so obsessively mean to Jin that he took pity on him instead. If there is any hidden resentment, he doesn’t show it as he offers freely to bridge the chasm between Jin and both parents. Once his mother was killed, his dad fed him to the harpy and never looked back. We don’t know how the family was prior to her death, but it was certainly dysfunctional after. It’s a wonder these two men turned out normal in any capacity considering the lack of parenting. Jin had more appreciation for his stepbrother after seeing the mixed family and hatred between siblings. It may not improve his relationship with his dad, but he might actually be maturing on his own in spite of him. I am sure he was tempted to choke stepmom when she was sliding the wineglasses down to crash on the floor, but if it gets rid of her to lose his home, he still got the best end of the deal. Detective Lee is still being an ass but she and Jin did have a candid conversation as Jin paid for a proper funeral for the victim. He wondered what dollar amount equated to a life? The detective went with all lives are priceless. This episode had Lee and Jin working better together with her sidekick feeling kicked to the curb and the youngest on team Jin’s biggest fan.

well this ep flew by - cause i was fast-forwarding all of it. not much to add to the fact that this had potential but fell flat somewhere along the way cause of the 2nd couple... or rather Phat & Junji. ironic that both bottoms turned into a pain in the butt. but it was a one off & it got over quickly so whatever... this a one off & a never again!

i am sitting here going through the motions & bored out of my mind - the 2nd couple might as well not exist to me as from the start Phat was an annoying character & he didn't do a thing. & after pushing Bay away cause of misguided anger. he acting like the aggrieved party - like plz b*tch. so anytime he or they were on screen i rolled my eyes. ****************************************but the mains couple doesn't exactly save this BL. they r similarly going through the motions, heck Hill is carrying that "relationship" all on his own. id k what Junji is doing - so i am kinda over this & really wish this was just 10 eps. but one more ep to go & i can't wait to check this off & put it behind me. which is a pity as Hill really carried this BL & had potential to be so much better - alas he was paired with dry wall.

An episode that makes you want to continue watching this series. The characters were all roughly introduced. Nothing was spoiled, but some scenes made me curious, as they gave me some "hints" about the next episode or the development/backstory of a character. I also liked that the main story was introduced slowly so that it was easy to follow along. (Spoiler for the ending: Oh Injoo finds money in the yoga-club locker of Jin Hwayoung) <-- This expecially made me curious for the next episode. -- My favorite thing in this episode:I really really loved how they portrayed the different social classes in Korea and how poverty restricts one in both professional and private life.

Jin is learning that with one exception he really isn’t liked or wanted at the police station. Detective Lee is shown in her family home to be personable, but at work she is a spiteful creature because of Jin. After she broke his nose and wrongly arrested him causing a company and political campaign to be jeopardized as well, she should be more amenable. I get that she doesn’t appreciate a fake cop rich boy in her space, but her and sidekick’s continual hate fest towards him wears thin. He had a shrewd move to get the old man with dementia found before dark. There is now a bet between Jin and Lee about catching the next murderer. Neither want to lose. The fight scenes are decently choreographed but even those don’t override the snide behavior of Lee. When talking to her dad she started to recognize her bias but put it aside. She doesn’t have to be likeable per se but she should show him how a professional acts and that has yet to be seen. I am not sure if that was PTSD or overwhelming empathy with the victim that he was experiencing, but that was a twist from his carefree ways. He is a lot more serious than he lets on and buries it under his games and lazy appearance. If he made it through law school he is far from dumb so why does he choose to act in this nonchalant manner? Is it just to piss his dad off?

Jin I Su has Batman’s wealth and butler combined with the narcissism of Tony Stark. He has lots of potential but has so far used it to play extreme games and party with his friends. On one of his game nights he finds his friend high and while he is handling a call his friend tangles with a knife carrying hoodlum. Jin goes to rescue his friend and ends up getting his nose broken, his dad’s mayoral campaign in jeopardy and a night in lockup because his buddy said the knife incident never happened. The arresting officer managed to lock up the hero and get the murderer in hospital as the victim. She does at least find the knife and figures out what happened but because they made such an issue of locking him up to teach the rich boy responsibility, it is now biting them all in the ass big time. Jin’s brother comes up with a plan to get everybody out of their bad press mess and has his brother be lawyer cop. They say he has been undercover two months and helped them catch the murder suspect that’s evaded them the last two months. Jin’s dad has disowned him and there is a flashback of a hit and run with his mom. This first episode had humor but there is a darker undercurrent running with his family and ironically him being forced to play cop for real might be of some assistance. Father and son don’t want to make up anytime soon so brother is running interference to calm things down. I would have liked another cop being the stubborn, mistaken one rather than the only female on the team. They have made her a rather unlikable hardass from the very beginning. This episode was definitely entertaining and I’m waiting to see how he fits in with the team that didn’t think rich boy would bother to show up to work. For now, fake cop and lady cop deserve each other.

Love between Lines Episode 26

This was such a wonderfully written and acted episode. The episode that everything(?) came to light. The first scene already had me in tears with the FL breaking down to her family because she can't let go of the ML. This couple really did their number on me. I absolutely love how the FL stayed on his side even after she had broken up with him amd wasn't in contact she still defended him (previous episode). Then to see the ML so broken by what happened at the Pei house and hiding himself away but of course our girl was the one to find him. And thennnn after they had their coming together our FL got kidnapped?! Like gosh cam they get a break?!The SL, I have a special place in my heart for him and I doubt it'll happen with 2 episodes left but I need him to come around. His emotions when he found out his dad had kidnapped and endangered the FL and then him realizing that he might be very similar to his dad in that regard (given that his actions led to her dad getting hurt again). Only for them to shock us with his back filled with bruises (I HATE his dad)!! I need him to get redemption. That final reveal at the end though. Amazing actor from the dad, I was absolutely disgusted. The way he twisted everything to push the blame from himself when it was literally HIS fault everything happened. It showed that even though 20 years had passed he was still the same man. Jaded and evil.To add, I dislike the mother. She hasn't done good by her son the entire show. So quick to throw him under the bus and then play sad about it. Bad mom, quite useless.

Subconsciously I was literally smiling and laughing. EunHo/OkSun and Siyeol were so sweet and funny. LOL. The mystery of gumiho deepens. Seriously hard to predict what's gonna happen next episode!

The Midnight Romance in Hagwon Episode 7

That's the immediate word that comes to mind when I think about this episode. Actually, the whole time I was expecting a punch out of left field especially towards the end, but instead it ended on a very sweet and peaceful note. Once again, this episode was more about Hye Jin and Jun Ho's relationship, which pushed the politics and school plot to the background, but that's not something I actually minded. Instead I liked how we stayed with Hye Jin throughout again (and also a little bit with Jun Ho) as she tried to navigate the change in her relationship with Jun Ho and her decision to leave the academy.I thought her reaction was very human and very "her". She clearly has feelings for Jun Ho (she kissed him back!!), and I thought the way she eventually accepted them was quite realistic. It wasn't drawn out. It was a very realistic depiction between two adults, which was again - quite nice to see. It could have very easily been boring to watch, but instead the script and the directing held up. I wanted to see what Hye Jin would do, even though I knew them getting together is the foregone conclusion, and that curiosity stems from the fact that Hye Jin and Jun Ho are both interesting and likable characters.Jun Ho felt very realistic as well, as someone who wanted her to return his feelings but also had to balance preparing for his first big assignment of the year. I liked that he didn't throw all of his work to the wayside just to prioritize his feelings for her. It makes for more of an interesting character if he's motivated by more things than just love and dating. I'm curious to see how their relationship will progress now that they know for sure that this affection is requited.

The snake empress’ evil plans are thwarted by Consort and first son. Together they changed tyrant king’s mind and he spared Chao Feng and QuingKui. When they return she finds her friend waiting and realizes her feelings for the first prince. She promises to help him see who the right girl is for him. The Empyrean and YeTan are ready for marriage much to his mother’s delight. Loved the sword dance they did together and the fireworks at stargazing place.🥰 The coriander has been found out but the prince helps her. That soul capturing device can only be for the twins. For now, there is a respite of happiness for the two couples.

this was such a great show, until the last 2 eps - idk what i am feeling. was annoyed at the 1st half, mildly interested in the 2nd & the last part was eye-roilingly boring. also the fact the main bad-guy, not getting his comeuppance (& sorry a bunch of ghosts crowding him, is not that satisfying's in the least.... same with nothing happening to King's dad - like WTF. ***********************but this was good on a whole

maybe it's just me, but i feel like Hill & Junji r more like bff's that kiss & show PDA from time to time. their kisses r dry & Junji doesn't even make an effort IMO (what with that hand in the pocket), as is he seems too laid back in his acting (as in bored & doesn't want to be there) & his being romantic is kinda, a turn-off! it's evident that he isn't into the romantic stuff. he is more comfortable laughing & being friendly with Hill. he isn't a newbie, so what do i chalk up the bad acting to??? is the uncomfortableness cause the character is gay?!?? he needs to shake it off, otherwise he will always only be a support character. ****************************************************************************************************************************************with Phat i get he was hurt & angry at his family & took it out on Bay. but i wont lie i am kinda bored when the 2nd couple r on screen - their only plus is their chemistry, which is hot & if i noticed this while fast-forwarding... i've said enough. but i need more from a side plot, then them having chemistry & knowing how to get it on.
