bummer the eps r so short cause as it was getting good it ended. personally the start wasn't my cup of tea not enough the poor grandfather got scammed, Geum Bok who seems like an innocent babe that is just learning how to walk get confronted by the buffoon calling him a stalker. then he goes & gets robbed when he is asleep in the streets. only to the get bullied by a couple of kids - & a return of the hulking buffoon... the kiss & the strip show was the highlight of the ep - cause it made me laugh. ********btw wondering was Bi Hyeong the one that stole Geum Bok's shoes & coat?!? or that zoom in wasn't relevant to the plot

Meeting scummy father

The opening of this episode is well done. Sword aimed at Changhe immediately stopped by younger Xie clan member stabbing elder. That was unexpected by me but the smirks between Changhe and younger Xie said a forgone conclusion. The Mu’s are an eerie lot that make children and others be puppets for them. I like them least of the three clans after the three wastes in Soul Reaper hall that gloat about causing chaos and ordering Patriarch to do their will. These three seem to be the most worthless of them all and the driving force of everything wrong and most challenged by Blood River members. They are obeyed by force but have no loyal subjects so waiting to see how they will be dealt with as story progresses. The next fight of Changhe was against a top Mu family member. While he was battling Muyu was also in battle and the drama nicely flashed between battles to give you the highlights of both and demonstrating how well balanced Changhe and Muyu are as friends. I also liked how Changhe gave Muyu the credit for his puppet skills which means these two friends give unexpected skills to each other to help in combat. Changhe again provides humor when he tells the Su members to say how he almost was killed and had done his best. The humor is a nice touch to lighten the scene a bit but it does not distract from story or overdone. Muyu is holding his own to protect the healer. Her family story wasn’t believed by him til surprisingly confirmed by Uncle Zhe who went from wanting to kill her to questioning her closely about her mother. This starts more rebellion as they were not supposed to marry outside the three families, tho ironically the three families are formed by the combat tests and not by blood. At this point Uncle Zhe changes sides to protect his daughter and help her complete her mission. Muyu offers to leave it to them but both request he stays. It is an awkward meeting of father and daughter and neither want to be alone with the other. They continue to patriarch where she reveals that if she cures him she dies. Here the host asks if one can die in her stead and before we get the answer it shifts to the Mu’s. There is discussion how to sway their leader’s mind and the coin tosser turns to him and says his death will. The spider sect surprise Muyu with a show of allegiance to him and to take the Dormant Dragon sword as patriarch when the elder patriarch dies. I do not think he expected such a single mindedness from the group. Muyu’s character has been pointed out for having least expression and wooden face. This is true. However, he is singularly different from all of them. Coming from the no sword place, he was taught to have an aloofness from their craft with weapons. He is not driven by the weapon and this sets him uniquely apart from the rest of them. While he is still labeled an assassin, he uses his skills to defend more than kill and has to have a reason he thinks valid to be a blade for another. As the new snake member pointed out, he is the light of Blood River. When fusing scenes together the production team does an excellent job of broadening depth to the story and understanding while not diminishing the flow of the various battles to storyline. This is unique for me as a viewer.

Breaching the spider nest

So the Spider sect is made up from the three families to guard the Patriarch. This position is either revered or seen as betrayal depending on the family member. This explains for me why Changhe could throw a dagger at his sister even tho he knew Lianyue would intercept it. The Xie’s and Mu’s are battling things out while Uncle Zhe and Changhe wait for cleanup detail. This is the amusing aspect of the fights. The miracle physician has tried the soul exchange and has both found her father and witnessed the hell of Patriarch’spast. There is a river of blood with countless bodies and she is horrified at what she sees. Not sure if it’s a revelation or memory for her that her mother poisoned her father to mark him. She was surprised to find out they have already met. Is there more to her since she is familiar with battle moves? Even the patriarch wants to know. Muyu has used his 18 sword technique for the Xie sword fanatic. That was a very interesting battle, especially when the multipliers came out. Muyu and miracle physician find themselves in a deep descent that takes them to an escape route. Mu Wei followed with poison and the healer had a very interesting way to dispose of it. Muyu fortunately was given the antidote. The healer has deduced why she is actual poison and has agreed to heal her if the price is right and they are no longer enemies. The patriarch has escaped from the sleep mist with three guards. His whereabouts are currently unknown while the three families vie for position. For now, the healer is in their sights along with patriarch for top killing orders. Uncle Zhe and Changhe have entered the fight. The Xie elder and Changhe had an interesting battle while younger Xie observed. He has said he found a weakness in Changhe’s battle techniques. The episode ends as a weapon is coming at Changhe’s head. The cast and production team are doing an excellent job of introducing the characters and choreographing the battles. It is an enjoyable watch.

given they both working in the same profession…

given they both working in the same profession of course sooner or later they would audition for the same role. the fact neither thought about this possibilities is weird. but Yuki reverting to his old self was mad - like fair u wanna be on equal footing with Asami. but making rules to exist in the same house but not interact until the end of the audition's is crazy. IMO. & Asami is being understanding cause he is in-love & will go along with anything as long as it means Yuki wont abandon him like his father did. guess change takes time, but Yuki needs to stop with the insecurities, especially when they end up hurting the one he loves so much. find a batter way to do with his insecurities.

Keita is trying to come off friendly but he suspicious as f*ck. as Yuki doesn't seem to recognize him i wonder why Keita looks like he is holding a grudge - did Yuki get a job he wanted?!? or he just jealous that Yuki is successful & he thinks he is better looking & more talented & should be the one shining?!? will have to wait & see. ***************************************************regarding the main's i get moving in together & their jobs keep the busy 24/7 - so when they r together they focus on themselves. & yet it is weird to me that they never talk about something they r existed about or a new role they r auditioning for or the director they really work for... then they both wouldn't have gotten blindsided as they did - meeting to audition for the same role...

am glad the little hurdle that came their way, didn't make them 'trip & fall' especially Yuki, i was worried he would go back to his self-conscious ways, where he would close in on himself & run the other way, leaving Asami "for his own good" this time around he didn't do what was best, but thought about what was best for them (as a couple) & is stronger in his own skin. really a joy to watch.

Dark, Haunting, and Unforgettable: A Unique Start to Mystique in the Mirror

I was completely lost during the first ten minutes, so I had to pause and read the plot summary. That was the best decision I made because everything made so much more sense afterward. My biggest tip for anyone starting this series is to read the synopsis first. It doesn’t spoil anything, but it gives you the right context to understand Alan and what’s actually happening. This is the first time I’ve seen Tou in a leading role, and his performance as Alan absolutely blew me away. He’s intense and expressive, showing fear, confusion, and raw emotion with every scene. There’s one shower scene that stood out not just for his perfect physique but for how terrifying it felt because of the mirror. The combination of vulnerability and fear was brilliant.Pentor as Win finally got his time to shine after acting in so many supporting roles, finally got a main role in this series, and even though he only appeared briefly, I could already feel the chemistry between him and Tou. It’s a pairing I didn’t expect to work this well, but it does. The series opens with a dark, chilling atmosphere that immediately pulls you in. The haunting score, eerie visuals, and strong cinematography create a sense of unease that doesn’t let go. It’s intense, psychological, and slightly terrifying. This is my first BL with a visual hallucination and mental hospital setting, and I love how different it feels from the usual light, fluffy stories.I genuinely don’t recommend watching this alone at night like I did because it left me staring nervously at my own mirror afterward. But despite the fear, I’m completely hooked. For anyone who felt lost after watching the first episode like I did, don’t give up or judge it too quickly. The confusion is part of the experience, not a flaw. If everything were explained right away, the mystery and tension that make this genre so captivating would disappear. Mystique in the Mirror is meant to leave you questioning and uneasy, that’s what makes it so intriguing. Personally, I thought the first episode was executed really well and perfectly captured the tone of a true psychological BL.If the next episodes keep up this level of mystery, emotion, and tension, Mystique in the Mirror could easily become one of the most unique BLs of the year.

just rewatched the 1st season & this 1st ep feels like there wasn't a break between the 1st & 2nd season. that no time passed at all & i like this feeling, it's very organic & seems like real life & not a drama/BL. the mains r still in their honeymoon period which make's me smile & Yuki seems like (almost) a different person, he isn't the introverted tightly wound character that seemed like he would span at any moment (in the 1st season). being with Asami has done him the world of good. ***************so sad that at the end Asami's manger is gonna come between them. already in the 1st season there was a evil-witch aspect about her, that never was utilized, guess it is this season lol ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************but wondering who the tall good-looking dude was & what his deal is, does he know Yuki??

A Love That Feels Eternal

This episode was incredible, fifty minutes passed in what felt like five. That almost-kiss is still stuck in my mind, leaving me restless. Now the wait for the next episode feels endless, like seven days will stretch into seven years.I’m sure they’ll finally kiss in Episode 4, especially with that water scene from the trailer. Everything between them is moving so fast. They argue and clash constantly, but there’s something deeper connecting them, something that feels older than this lifetime.Maybe they were lovers in the past, now reborn and drawn back together again. The historical flashbacks make me wonder if their story has been repeating through time, waiting for this moment to begin again.
