Why the lower ratings for this episode? It was a great episode, with HX finding vindication and being able to confront the scumbag who abandoned her, supported by her boss, our green flag ML who always steps up when she needs him. Making the former fiance kneel at her feet was a fantastic moment.

So many great moments in this! How adorable was her finding out about her new interview in front of the man who arranged it? She was SO happy, and that made HIM so happy, even though he tried to hide and downplay it!

A lot of c-dramas start out slow, but I loved the pacing of this first episode. The game world really kept it engaging!

I am very interested on how they’re going to end this show. Character development because jin on episode one would truly never. I’m so fucking sad this show is over. I don’t know what I’m gonna do with myself on Sunday anymore. Maybe go to church I don’t know. I think they could’ve done a little bit more with surfing Jarvis couple towards the end because it’s just like oh this happened. Oh, he slept outside. Oh no we’re back together. I wish they did a little bit more with that but it’s OK. Also, I wish they did a little bit more with the review with the Dad feel like we could’ve drag that out a bit more but it’s OK I’ll give The ending an 8.50 my two favorite scenes in the show one was this for surfing Java when Jarvis is fucking wasted and he’s like I’m gonna be fucked earlier because I’m so drunk right now love that and also the scene where they’re like the start of their relationship and like tried to send them on his lap, but he was like whoa stop love this show just dropped my knees in the Wally world parking lot holy fuck Also using the voice thing and I’m not going back to fix my mistakes. Okay bye!

Ugh!! The obligatory break up in the 11th hour after these characters started to communicate more. And I get it too b/c it still would look bad optically if she started to date him publicly. I just want characters to stop caring what people think. I know it's a hard sell but I'm never going to like episodes like this.

This case brought in the trifecta of leaders with biggest names and darkest tricks. They believe themselves untouchable and have networking down to a fine art keeping all bases covered to go their way. I like that they make us wonder if Kang Da wit will be tempted by a bribe and how he twisted that around to surprise them all. 👏🏻Ms Oh has plans and he is part of them, but she also brought in lawyer Woo. This was reward for helping with defendants. Da Wit is not happy but takes it in stride til he hears the first case they want to cover. Ms Oh even wants this to be the case that makes them go international. 😝 Let’s jump in to defend the company killing babies.😝 Da Wit put the babies pictures on their whiteboard and determined right then he wanted nothing to do with this firm. When Mr Oh told his daughter she was just like him, this first case makes that all too evident. Da Wit and the rest of the pro bono group cannot represent the victims unless they leave the firm. He is naming it eye for an eye and proudly marching his team out of the Oh building. I am truly hoping this is laying the groundwork for a season two. This drama covered thought provoking cases. They explored a lot of social ills and polarizing issues. It came full circle with him pointing out who had set him up and her admitting it. This drama is definitely worth the watch if you like watching court cases. It gives a nice view of all the machinations behind the scene that both assist and deny true justice. I am really hoping they have a second season with the eye for an eye firm in its own quirky location. I will definitely be watching.

Episode 8 is all about trust — and how quickly it can fracture. The ML’s studio goes head to head with the Rival Lead’s (RL) company in the design competition, and we begin to understand just how much history exists between them. The RL’s company was founded by the ML’s father and another partner, which explains the tension and unresolved resentment simmering beneath the surface. The RL, true to form, enjoys sowing discord. He deliberately implies that the FL would be easily swayed to his side — something that couldn’t be further from the truth. His company had already dismissed her as not good enough during interviews, while the ML was the one who recognised her potential despite her lack of experience. That contrast matters.Unfortunately, things unravel when the ML implies a lack of trust — and before he can clarify, the FL has already begun to distance herself. Her reaction is understandable, and the ML seems genuinely thrown by the sudden emotional distance.Fate (and the game) intervenes when they cross paths again. The FL is helping her best friend’s husband with a business deal involving a shady client — complete with uncomfortable physical contact — and ends up chatting with the ML as part of a game mission. It’s here that the misunderstanding is finally cleared up: it was never about him not trusting her, but about not trusting the RL.While the clarification brings relief, the emotional impact lingers. Trust doesn’t reset instantly, and this episode does a great job showing how fragile it can be when old wounds and outside interference are involved. It feels like the real battle isn’t the competition itself, but whether trust can survive when history and manipulation keep getting in the way.
