The tension between the leads delightfully ratchets up as they juggle their own issues. The dialogue is witty and the story progresses, setting the stage for this captivating world. Utterly addictive.

The finale was...there I guess? it happened? To me this will be one of the least memorable finales of a series ever, EXCEPT for one thing and that is that for the first time (as far as I know), a GMM couple is engaged and will get married for real. Congratulations!Too bad that I had to play the proposal scene at 1.5 speed though.

must say i don't get why Ramphueng is so powerful & wish Peem told Khem that the reason he can't help him, is cause it could cost him his life or the life of someone close to him. & hope just for Khem to live, "they" won't sacrifice a side character. the worse would be those spirit kids Peems got by his side 24/7. sorry not sorry Khem not worth the sacrifice. *********************here i don't even like him much, he the type of character where the whole plot & character's revolve around his sorry ass & i don't get why. was he needed to hold a candle for Jet & Chan??? if he was a good friend, the sec Chan came by, he would find a reason to leave - as Chan & Jet might bicker but u for sure can feel there is more between them. why insert ur-self into their story?? why everyone gotta cater to his pathetic ass? i don't find him cute in the least (the actor might be, but the character - NOPE) & the sad puppy dog eyes don't move me in the least. *********************************************************************** ****************************************************************************************************************************************ironically when the plot doesn't revolve around him, it's quite interesting, even cute & entertaining (even if he is in the scene) as long as the focus isn't on him - this good. but the sec he is the focus, i lose interest cause i know it will take him ages to talk, move, react like a freakin sloth *******************************************************************************************************btw mentioning Chan - i knew he would remain behind for Jet, sadly Khem is thick & can't catch a clue to save his life. he stuck like glue to Jet, so there is no chance of anything developing between Jet & Chan - which is a shame, as i am sure they would be 100% much more interesting & entertaining to watch. oh well - ********************************************************************Krittanai might be a good guy, but seeing him in this BL reminds me of his character in Work From Heart, he was a narcissistic ass-hat in that & the gaslighting let alone the SA didn't ender him much. so seeing him & that smile makes me uneasy. i know he gonna be the catalyst that forces Peem to admit his feelings if not act on them. but still Krittanai's character Ohm is to vivid to forget & sadly that not a plus. good acting as i hated him lol - but now i feel like i need to prepare myself to whatever he's gonna get up too - ugh

I don’t usually write reviews, but I think I’ll start now- please be kind, it’s my first one. This episode left me absolutely speechless. First off, even with its nearly two-hour runtime, the pacing never dragged. The story flowed beautifully, and the way it was delivered kept me hooked the entire time.- KengNamping NC SceneThis has officially become my favorite DMD nc scene ever (and perhaps even one of my all-time favorites). I felt every single emotion. Seeing P’Peem completely naked felt like the ultimate act of vulnerability: as though he were saying, “I am giving myself to you without any mask or veil, both physically and emotionally.” What we witnessed was a man who had been holding himself back for years finally allowing release (again: both literal and symbolic). The acting was extraordinary. The performances were so convincing that I almost felt like an intruder, a third wheel in their intimacy, yet I couldn’t look away. The framing and composition of each shot mesmerized me; every detail carried weight, every angle intentional. From Khemjira’s perspective, there was a palpable mix of excitement and apprehension, as this was his first real experience with physical intimacy. His character has longed to be “normal,” but has carried the weight of the curse his entire life, leaving little to no room for romance, even if he longed for it. What this scene captured was two people experiencing different kinds of “firsts,” both stripping themselves bare of everything that shielded them in their own ways. And the sound design? Brilliant. I deeply appreciated that the sequence was underscored by a delicate, almost ethereal score that set the emotional, reflective tone. At selected moments, the faint, distant sounds of breath (mostly from Peem) were woven in just enough to remind us of the raw, human carnal passion beneath it all. Yet these physical expressions were deliberately subdued, reinforcing that the scene’s true core was emotional intimacy. It was the peak of closeness: two individuals merging into one presence, even without going all the way.- DirectionI have to praise the director. Every detail, every frame, feels so intentional. The way the story is visually told with the gazes, the pauses, the framing, never fails to amaze me. Every little detail is thought before hand, everything has a reason to be somewhere specific. - StorylinesI really appreciated finally getting some backstory on Rampueng’s vengeful feelings. I suspect she’s behind Yai Si’s illness, though I’m not entirely sure yet. I love how this central plot remains consistently present, while still balanced against the romantic arcs and nuanced character development.- Charn and JetTheir relationship unfolds in such a different way than Peem and Khem’s. They first surrender to passion, acknowledge their feelings but then take a step back, deciding to build something carefully, with all the uncertainty that entails. I love the contrast with PK's relationship building as it makes each story feel unique.- Phor Kru / Peem’s ArcI don’t think Peem’s confession and openness came too quickly at all. If anything, it felt like the natural breaking point after years of holding everything in. When he asks Khem to call him just P/Peem it’s clear he’s tired of the constant restraint that comes with being Phor Kru. He just wants to exist as himself for Khem, yes, but also for his own peace. That hit me hard, his yearning to shed the constant control demanded by his role. For once, he can exist freel, not as a 'spiritual-teacher' (wouldn't really know how else to describe it lol) bound by duty, but as himself. This moment of liberation felt essential both for his relationship and his own self-acceptance. (And side note: the haircut this episode? Perfection. I couldn't stop screaming everytime he was on screen- And major points to DMD for finally giving us realistic tattoos!)- ActingNamping absolutely floored me. The way he cries is just beautiful, it feels so genuine. And I especially admired how well he played a character who’s bad at lying. That’s harder than it looks, because you have to “act badly” on purpose, while still keeping it believable. He delivered it flawlessly.

I must say the ending was real fan service! I wish it was 16 episodes. I wish I know more about the reign of his brother and more scenes of his majesty cooking for FL. But for 12 episodes, thank you for a rollercoaster ride of emotion and gastronomy. I might have gained. A few pounds watching this!

Ding Yi is so smart! He's an actor of the theatre for sure! The way he acted out "Joseph Lee" was perfect~ I've never watched Zhang Yi Shan's dramas before, but now I've become his fan~ And wow, Zhang Tian Ai, my diva, she's so beautiful and charismatic~ I love her so much! Elvis Han is dashing too!

Khem is a really annoying character, in the previous ep he was throwing himself a pity party cause he was useless. & then what does he do add to everyone's troubles by following Yod - when he knows he got a she-devil after his ass. but master berating him, telling him he just cause trouble wasn't enjoy or a warning to try & avoid sh*t... dude is so annoying he beelines for any one pothole... idk why writers & producers find this type of character endearing. IMO this type of moron that can't find his ass with his own two hands is insufferable. idk why Jet is still his friend or what Peem wants to help him. yeah he says no but u can see that there is a part of him (since he was a teen & 1st came across Khem) he wanted to help him. **********************************the main bummer there wasn't enough of Chan & Jet -******************************************************************************btw i don't get how or why an avenging spirit go more powers then a snake spirit god & even before he lost a scale dude backed down & allowed her to stay on the mountain - like what gives?!? also would really like if someone started question who she is & how she is connected to the OG Khemjira.

so was right & the chick from 1939 was current day Khem & am guessing her bff's (that were a couple on the downlow) one of them is the spirt with the grudge. but what did Khemjira do to her friends? as is she seemed really sicky, cause she had a heart condition & then Phawat going off to war, just made her sicker. so why was her lineage cursed?!? ********************************but pleasantly surprised that Peem hasn't broken & started to cater to Khem's every request just cause he keeps making cow-eyes at him, already refreshing the mold is being broken for the usual tropes. *****************************************************still find the coincidence that they were all connected in a past & their lives r still intertwined & the fact ghost stalking Khem is Phawat's/Peem's younger brother is weird. also would be nice to know why it's cool that spirits hanging around & not passing on/reincarnating. not to mention this camping trip Jet & Khem's group r on - there a timeline for it?? weeks? months? **************************************************************************************************************************************************really enjoying the 2nd couple Chan & Jet r so enjoyable & likeable. they bring a smile to my heart - wish there was more of them.

the reason i take breaks from Thai BL's is how the "bottom" is usually portrayed - it's like, cause he is supposedly the "FL" the usual trope of the damsel in distress is the prototype for who "she" must be - to be worthy of being the lead, as then the ML can be her knight in shining amour (more like bodyguard, personal assistant & caregiver all rolled in one). this trope is getting tedious & cliché in straight dramas, why would i enjoy it when i watch BL's?!? ******************************************************say what u will, Khem is not just male he is 20 yrs old(!) not a child & yet he walking around like he's this fragile new-born foal that keeps tripping over his own feet most of the time, taking timid steps while speaking or doing anything & watching this is doing my head in. i just keep time skipping & ironically nothing much happens, cause the dude keeps giving those long ass stares & silence's as if they supposed to add to the dramatic effect - but the scene is nothing of the sort. bottom line this ep was though to sit through. & had to rewatch some parts cause i was worried what i missed like the time jump to 1939 (or was ot 1949) either way how this connected to the present & the ghost in the end that called Peem "Phawat" i have yet to find out - guess we will see... & was the chick that climbed up the tree Khem in a previous incarnation?!? ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************but i really like Chan, there was a sec where i was worried we would get another annoying trope of the triangle where Chan is the 2nd ML that will be left heart broken as Khem will end up with Peem. but thankfully Chan is gonna get paired with Jet & i already love they bickering back & forth. can't wait for more.

I ugly cried nearly whole ep, it was so so beautiful. From the start we saw how a granddaughter was trying hard to have her last moments with her grandpa. Then it turned to the grandmother who was such a lovely wife and tried to make inarizushi for her beloved husband for the last time. And I completely lost control when the grandpa was also retrying so that he could confess his love to his wife. The most beautiful part was, they both knew how much their partner was loving the other. Even though it's considered important to use words, sometimes you don't need them at all. Your behaviors and things you do for the other party screams your love the loudest. Bakaryhtim you are a genius for making series like this!
