Bon Appetit, Your Majesty Episode 9

the King headbutting the Chinese envoy was epic, am sure he wanted to do it from the start (i for sure wanted to punch him in the face a couple of times) & then the Queen Dowager In Ju came in for the kill. it was kinda hilarious. but what annoyed me was that no one noticed Prince Je San face when Ji Yeong's team was declared a winner. he acts the fool & cause of that no one is taking him seriously, that's why he is getting to close to achieving his goal. ******************************************************i hope Prince Jin Myeon doesn't die - poor kid is innocent & neither Prince Je San nor Mok Ju hurting him, let alone killing him just to get at the King - via Ji Yeong

Wow! Fated Hearts just started with a BANG! There is no flaw at all! Li Qin jie, my god, your Fu Yi Xiao is so 'handsome'!!! I'm gonna use handsome for her, lol, cuz just look at her aura as the commander~ I can't help but fall for her~ (੭ˊᵕˋ)੭✨ Also our ML, the first prince of Susha, Feng Sui Ge; sir, you're extremely dashing that you stole my heart away with each gaze~ Now, I can't stop swooning over both of them~ Them together in the same frame is a blessing for me~

I was glad he let the women go. Funny enough I am not a fan of sous vide but I do like the cooking elements in the show. Kang Mok Ju was a prisoner but some how became the 4th consort? Can some one tell me how? Or will it be explained later?

I am usually not a fan of these time travel dramas but this 1st episode was some of the funniest TV I have seen all year. When Ji Yeong was telling the King she knew Tae Kwan Do I died. The back and forth between the 2 was hilarious the entire ep.

Is deceit ever redeemable? “My truth is that I really do love you and I was afraid the truth might mean losing you”. “Well I never loved you but you fit my purpose”. Damning truths after all but the end results are the same. Lies never should be a stepping stone. Awesome episode.

A flashback shows that the cops witnessed a man beating his wife in public and did NOTHING. He was one of Mantis's victims. She stepped in because the cops are too dumb/lazy to do their job apparently. Then the present time cops finally get around to thinking of the first and most obvious question to find the killer. Who would know about the original killings? Of course they don't actually investigate it, they just ask Mantis "who she remembers" from back then. Stupid, but whatever. We finally get an interesting character in the boy next door. They do not take him in for questioning until they get into a physical altercation after illegally trespassing on his property without a warrant. Oh, and when they do take him in, they do not rid him of the weapons he's keeping on his person. He can just casually bring them out of his pocket during an interrogation. Meanwhile the other criminal who's hospitalized after being shot in the head is able to take out the cop watching him and escape with no real issue. She had no defense against a slightly agitated recent coma patient. And the Mantis also escapes, in a very silly Hannibal Lector scene, where the only cop on duty to guard that entire house jail gets tricked into taking her secretly attained poison. Because no one was ever checking her space and no backup or medical people are available to call. What does Mama Mantis want? Still no clue. Maybe she'll get her daughter-in-law to realize just how shit the cops are at helping anyone. Is ML gonna make it all about him again? Yeah probably. So it's a mixed bag. Boy next door is an actually compelling character, and with Mama Mantis on the loose, maybe she'll finally do something interesting. But yeah, literally all of these cops are completely useless. They suck at their job.

It would seem the only person who ever gave a damn about Saenkaew the the one person who is no longer around, his mom. And to hear it told from the piece of shit father (he is no dad, yes there is a difference) Saenkaew is the one who killed her, though it was the piece of shit who did it with his crap additude. I thought maybe his grandmother did, but after hearing her tell Saenkaew to get married for her, even though looking at his face you can tell he doesn't love her and he does not want to marry, nut no one is caing about what e wants, they are only thinking about themselves. For anyone to say he does love her and want to marry her, they are f-ing stupid. All you have to do is look at his face to know he is no happy, Hell Pin is even dumb, thinking that he will one day love her. If she doesn'y by now, he won't in the future. She is lost in her own little world not wanting to see the truth, I can't fullily blame her, after all she does love him, but life is not your little world and you can't make it so only you are happy, because in the end you won't be. I sooo want Saenkaew to just slap his father back when he does it to him, or when he says stupid hurtful shit that would be the hightlight of the whole series... but that won't happen.... to bad. 😮💨

I'm having real trouble sticking with this series. It has high ratings, and I've seen people gush about it, but I'm 3 episodes in now and still don't really see the point. There is a copycat killer that the cops have apparently no hope of catching, so they make a deal to talk to the original killer from 20 years ago. But what help is she? She has no information on this new killer, she already confessed to all of her crimes, so the police have all the relevant info on who/when/how she killed. She's not some brilliant psychiatrist or profiler like Hannibal Lector. She's JUST a killer that a new killer is copying. Talking to her has done nothing except have the cop son repeat over and over that she's a criminal and he doesn't want to talk to her. Nothing is happening in terms of any characters' relationships. Nothing is really progressing in terms of the investigation. We don't know anything about any of our leads besides "cop" or "criminal." Now we finally get SOMETHING in the ML realizing mom must have killed dad, but this doesn't seem to change literally anything. He doesn't care about the motivation behind it. He still hates her for being a killer. She hasn't changed her mind or attitude about any of it. And the copycat kill is already done. There's no point to her involvement with the cops. The only thing they should be looking into for her is who she's had contact with and/or who has had access to her information to know about the kills. The prison should have records they can check and the rest is just going over who she was close to back in the day. This is boring and frustrating me, but I want to give it one more episode to convince me.

i am glad i was wrong about Man Su [8th rank senior cook] & the reason he was being (or what looked like) mean to Gil Geum also glad he came clean to Ji Yeong. but they were being so transparent in their subterfuge - Mok Ju's personal court lady isn't blind or stupid. i hope Man Su's mother does pay the price, cause Mok Ju doesn't look like the forgiving & understanding kind.btw the person/character i have come to hate the most is Prince Je San - he is just gross / slimy & i hope Yi Heon (the King) will start suspecting him. as is Ji Yeong hasn't thought to warn him & i fear it will be too late when she does. there too many good people that could die cause of the rebellion...

i really liked the group, pity this didn't turn into a quest where the 4 just went on a long journey until the end. all the palace intrigue is so tiring & even depressing to watch. until this ep i felt really bad for Man Su [8th rank senior cook], yeah he was Mok Ju "rat" & would constantly do her bidding - BUT when push came to shove she did't stand by him & she wont in the future. so i get that he is powerless & can't refuse or evade her orders. but his going after poor sweet innocent Gil Geum - really pissed me off. like WTF dude why target her (yeah i know he thinks if she leaves it will hurt Ji Yeong) & yet Gil Geum lack power & is so innocent she can't hurt a fly - so i am pissed ugh.
