The princess is now playing the part of the indulged concubine….the immediate separation and brushing of robes once entered the chambers 🤣 Him peeling shrimp for her. If she only knew what memories this evoked for him. The cooking scene. Let me put the spiciest spice on these delicate shrimp.😂 must eat they are watching.😂 They play off each other nicely and then tuck into their respective corners plotting. The sister has arrived home. She is over the top but likeable. She has found a location for women trafficking but the crowd doesn’t believe her. Throwing rocks at the Prince😂 he is not street smart enough to understand the significance of the act. The meeting with her and the bodyguard. I enjoyed this sparring match. The sister has preconceived bias about Princess but she respects the abilities of the bodyguard and speaks in her defense when the chancellor got the wrong opinion. They decide on a wedding fit for a princess figuring this will give the map holder opportunity to pass it off. They look beautiful and elegant in their ceremonial attire and it’s a shame it’s a sham. The Princes four are all in attendance which is an unusual accomplishment. I like how the three brothers make the psycho brother look cheap. The maid of the wife has passed a message to him and the pieces are in place. The wife gets the sister involved as a distraction and is somewhat successful. The princess and bodyguard see the maid leave and know the handoff is about to take place while the psycho prince threatens sister for assaulting him. The Princess has decided what her move will be when the episode ends.

I couldn't stop crying, it was that depressing.

Started watching the episode, but I didn't know that it would be this sad, the old lady who felt guilty because she suggested that newspaper advertisement to her friend to work in a factory in Japan, but instead it was a trap to lure in girls and women for Sexual Slavery, wartime rape, etc. I never knew about this term "Comfort Women" when I searched it on internet it was so depressing like something like this actually existed, it just proves all the more that this is an awful world. I was reading the articles and the thing that was more depressing was that the fucking government had the audacity to deny that this thing never even existed. That's too awful. Having no tomorrow to look forward to, violence, bruises, I can't imagine what they must have endured. Even if they survived such a tragic thing, their own people criticising them, and not accepting them was worse, how much pain they must have been in. I cried so much throughout the episode. The Character Yun-i the old lady 's childhood friend was a sunshine person, cheerful, helping people in need. She sacrificed her life to save the other girls. Cinnamon Roll's past life was mentioned and he was related to this case, he was one of the soldiers who helped those women escape. When the new young reaper met the past people, it was sad. Another user was right that this episode was an educational episode for korean viewers who are unaware of something that was a big issue but not many people knew about.

Challenge made but is it accepted?

Luckily for Princess prior experience kept her from the trap of the tea with crab cakes diarrhea. This also saved her body guard. She now knows the chancellor has set her up so pretends the food poisoning worked. He knows something is off with the timing but continues with plan anyways. The crown prince is a sadistic psychopath and the chancellor intends to frame him for the princess’ murder. There’s just one problem, his lady assassin failed and it isn’t the princess dead. She dressed like a servant to escape and that slow turn and smile at the close aide that didn’t recognize her was beautiful. She swapped garments with bodyguard who fended off assassins quite well. I love her character. They figure out they are duped and the search widens for princess. The pig’s blood was a big ew😝 but to plunge a dagger into herself is upping the game. She seeks shelter from the prince she was supposed to marry. He has a servant tend her but the servant refused to stitch her up without anesthetics. By this time the chancellor has arrived and tells her to stop faking injury so they can go home. When she doesn’t get up, he uncovers her and sees a large deep gash. She told him the cover story she told Prince but she pointed the finger at him for not believing her. He stitches her up and told the servant any scars would be where only he could see it so didn’t have to be stitched well. After the chancellor left banquet early, psycho crown prince beats and kills a servant. The sound effect of him crushing her larynx was too real😬 He gets her home and watches over her at her request. There is a flashback to her mother and we see a proud free spirited strong woman sharing knowledge with her daughter. The wife is nervous seeing actual emotion from the chancellor. She is the only one that has the real map but nobody else knows that yet. Our princess does an excellent job drawing a compilation of the paintings in his study. She gives enough intel for antidote with the caveat to get the real map. She has figured out the chancellor doesn’t have it yet. She is on thin ice with both countries. She offers the chancellor the chance to work together and find out who set her up and hiding the real map. He gives her a huge grin and she grins back but there is yet to be a true alliance. I liked how his aide grinned at the pouty bodyguard when she is told to wait outside the door. These two are a bit of cuteness in a very harsh unforgiving environment.

this momma pmo like no other mother in this universe. okay i get ur trying to protect ur kid from ending up like ur other one but controlling them is not the answer. it may be because our cultures are different but darn. my shaylas deserve a happy ending so hopefully next episode they talk it out bc if they don't i will crash out. this episode made my blood boil so much that i was screaming into my pillow. these cliffhangers got me on the edge of my seat and im eager for zhang jingyi to go to university. it feels like the only woke one in the family is my girl qingyu like honey she's real for those flyers because if u mess with my sister i'm gonna mess with you right back. hopefully episode 14 and 15 hurry up.

A little payback chancellor

I love how she quietly gets back at chancellor. The nice big piece of pork and getting others involved to be sure rituals are correct so that he has to show up😂 He got her back with the toast until she kissed him and gave it back.😂Beautiful move. Her truthful responses and then calm demeanor when her poison counteracted the truth drug. The wife is the dangerous one. She has intercepted the painting. The chancellor has countered since none of them have seen it. She can’t be certain if he is bluffing or telling the truth. She tries to frame the princess and is almost successful. The princess is caught sneaking into secret compartments but she astutely figures out which servant led her there. The writer of this gave her astute attention to detail. The chancellor has tea with his wife and warns her of mixed loyalties. He then has a meal prepared for Princess that has all her country favorite dishes, but she is scared to eat them. He leads her on a chase with chopsticks and surprisingly chooses a piece of pork to eat. He leaves after telling her she is going to attend a banquet with him. She suggests Lady Wen the appropriate one but he comments that her eye for detail will come in handy. He and the prince are playing chess with dangerous moves. I am hoping the Princess does well. Guess we will find out next episode. They have rated this drama 6.9 whatever haters did this, ignore. This is a min of 8.5 just these 3 episodes. It is action packed, well acted and plot so far decently written with lots of intrigue and harsh political moves. This is literally do or die so life is always on the line in this drama. There are no kind sides.
