This movie really blew me away..... I looked it up...and it looked good and interesting, I decided to watch it....

Howling shows the viewers what and how reality is.....the exact picture.... how women are been treated poorly, even though we say we are in a civilised and developed world....The issues causing chaos -- drugs, sex trafficking, prostitution and all..... What happens when you overstep your boundaries when talking to your boss.... Family issues

I love animals, as in dogs, cats and the rest.....but keeping them as pets isn't a tempting offer ....but I couldn't stop the tears.... We have the story of the wolf (wolfdog), how it was trained.....

Howling is all about making use of the system and thinking out of the box to get what you want.....well that's what was done in Howling....

It's WORTH the watch.... I'm not good at re-watching movies and all, that's why it's a 7...

Sometimes you are stuck somewhere. But there is always someone who, take you by the hand, show you way and accompany you to your destiny and beyond.

At first what attract me was the name. I love books. I love libraries. A heartbreaking romance in a library... My kind of story!! But what I found, totally got me by surprise and leave me breathless.

It was beautifully presented, beautifully acted and "slow" pace of the story, make me fall in love with it!!! Is is a very emotional movie...

And LEE DONG WOOK?? That is a MUST see!!

This is a story of being lost...Being found...And the people who accompany you, in the road we called life.

We always thought that we are alone...But we aren't alone. There is always someone, somewhere that love us. That guide us. That give us strength and comfort.

This movie make me laughed. Make me cry. But above all, make me think of that hugs I didn't give...Those "I'm sorry" I didn't say...Those "I Love You" I hush...

I totally love this movie, and I recommend that you prepare some tissues... Because you will need them!!!

This is the first part of the two part Red Cliff saga directed by John Woo.

This movie is a masterpiece, the battle scenes are epic and in particular, the choreography of the Yinyang/Tortoise formation was awesome and the high expectation for the final battle is something to look forward to but that will be in the second part of the movie. I loved all the war scenes in both movie.

The overall plot of the Red Cliff saga is similar to the American movie Troy, a host of invading army lead by an ambitious but love struck general will try to conquer 2/3 of China because of a girl. This first part covers the forming of the alliance of the 2 neighboring countries, and shows of human frailties and strengths of the defending leaders.

The cast were likewise outstanding, especially Takeshi Kaneshiro as the strategist who have a little knowledge of a lot of things.

Rewatch value is 10, well worthy of a second viewing.

This movie is unbelievably touching. I found myself crying when Koyuki was singing even though I couldn’t hear his voice. I love the cinematography and the story. Some of the acting leaves a lot to be desired, but I didn’t care. I found myself gripped by how music can move you in ways you never thought possible. I enjoy all kinds of music and a song can take me to any place I want to go. This is expressed so beautifully. Look past the obvious story and toward the deeper story and I think you will love it.

I have never given 10 points to any drama or movie. This movie, for me, was absolutely outstanding! Acting was great. I'm a fan of Hiro Mizushima, so I was in heaven.

Music- I think I started be interested in jrock because of this movie. Very beautiful music. And I think It's good that we can't hear koyuki's voice while singing. As we imagine it should be something amazing but If we could hear it not everyone would be satisfied. So in my opinion it's great idea to remove his voice.

Plot is wonderful - unusual, unique, with deep message.
Why did I judge rewatch value on 9 ? - because I never watch one movie two times. But after this movie...who knows. ;)

Summarizing : FOR ME, this movie is PHENOMENAL. I ABSOLUTELLY RECOMMEND. If you want to know what am I talking about, just watch it yourself. ASAP.

thank you for reading my personal opinion ^_-

The closing chapter in the Vengeance Trilogy.

Though it’s far less bloody than the first two, Park Chan Wook’s Sympathy for Lady Vengeance should be held in just as high regard. It outclasses Tarantino’s Kill Bill as a revenge story with far deeper turmoil.

Filmed in an almost grotesque fairytale manner, it is about the struggle between a saintly pale faced damsel in distress and a cunning witch donned in red eye make-up and classy heels. Stranger yet, is that both characters are one and the same - Ms Geum Ja (Lee Young-Ae) who seeks vengeance for crimes committed against her.

This film has the right blend of humour, love, family elements yet maintains an incredibly intense dark tone throughout. The surreal shots, the use of music and the progression of the story are nearly flawless.

I would happily use the words 'compelling' 'heart wrenching' and 'beautiful' to describe Park Chan Wook’s Sympathy for Lady Vengeance. However, to this description you must also add 'chilling' and 'horrifically sinister' to fully appreciate the depth and complexity of this film. Lady Vengeance provides the audiences with intense off-camera violence and in this film it is the aftermath of the violence that is most effective. It’s not the violence that bothers the viewer but the situation in which it arises.

This offering by this amazing director is not for those who can only stomach physical brutality but that of the emotional type, thus making opinions surrounding this film as divisive as its predecessors. Like most pieces of art, it really depends on one’s taste. But one thing is for sure; whether you’re swayed by the deeper emotional content or the hard to ignore visual elements, there is at least one thing you’ll love about this film.

Or if not, you won’t be able to forget it for a variety of reasons.

The great director, Kim Jee-won does every genre he takes on justice. As expected, acting-veteran Choi Min-shik easily turns stomachs with his darkest performance since his Sympathy for Lady Vengeance role.

This movie should have been a typical take on revenge executed in a typical 'cat and mouse chase' fashion and cushioned with a tons of gore and sexual violence.

HOWEVER!

It managed to be SOOO much more than that. Surprisingly deep and every act of violence has a purpose and a consequence. A story ultimately about how pain and grief can push one to the edge of humanity. Lee Byung-hyun makes us weep for him and not because of what he lost...but what he is willing to forsake just to get even.

Stellar cast, incredibly well plotted and an ending that stirs your soul.

Who knew that a small incident would lead these two lovable characters into a journey which changes both their lives for the better.

Story:
I L.O.V.E.D the girl. She's so tough, I mean the way she acts. Though there's a deep sadness within her, she tries to hide it with a cheery smile that does not fool our dear Gyeon Woo. It's also different from what I ever watched and I enjoyed it a lot! Seriously I never laughed so hard. There were particular scenes that cracked me up, there's this one where honestly I couldn't breathe because I was laughing so hard.

Acting:
*Nods head and smile* It is flawless. It's like Cha Tae Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun were made to play the lead roles in this movie. I loved Gyeon Woo's mother, always hitting him. In saying that all the girls in his life are always hitting him, poor thing. Jun Ji Hyun plays 'The Sassy Girl' (I just realised that he never referenced her name O.O). She played the abusive, easily drunk, tough, cute, delicate, gorgeous girl. I need to watch more movies with her in it.

Music:
Is it just me or Director Yann Samuell really really loves Canon D Majoy by Pachelbel. I watched his other movie called 'Classic' and the same instrumental piece was played throughout the movie. I'm not complaining, it's more like an observation.

Rewatch:
I sure as hell would rewatch this. It's soo funny,

Overall:
I LOVED IT. I know why people keep telling me to watch the movie. Everything made sense at the end and this movie really made me believe in DESTINY ~

The story:
It was cliche that's for sure. But I'm one of those people who don't mind the cliche (as long as its not TOO predictable). The storyline was confusing for some parts and whoever did the editing for me did a good job. I could tell that they were going back and forth from the past to the present.

The acting:
Every character did a fairly decent job of acting, well maybe not Jo In Sung. The guy is just a brick wall. I mean seriously buddy you need MORE EMOTION, MORE FEEL but he is kind of pleasing towards the eye, so I guess it kind of ok? XD
For me, Son Ye Jin stole the limelight. She bloody well deserves a 10/10 for her acting. Ye Jin ssi had to act as two characters, Joo Hee and Ji Hae and she did a FANTASTIC job of it. When she cried her heart out, I cried along with her. TT____TT

The Music:
As soon as I heard, Canon D Major by Pachelbel. I knew that I wouldn't be hating on the music used through the movie. I mean who the hell on this earth doesn't love that instrumental masterpiece.

Rewatch Value:
It's not a movie that I would watch again in the near future but I may.

Overall:
It is not the best movie I ever seen but it was worth my time watching.

The story is what caught my interest, since it's truly unique, but the way it unfolded left me a bit disappointed. Such a scenario had a great potential but it left some parts unexplored. They could have expanded on many scenes and cut short some others. I found it boring at times. But it had its bits of comedy too. Far less than I expected though. Overall however, the best word to describe this movie is 'weird'. It indeed has a big dose of weirdness in it. It's based on a rather tragic plot, so naturally it will have weirdness and depressive, meaningful moments, especially if you can relate to the characters' feelings.
The ending was fine to me. It fit with the movie's style perfectly.

I recommend this to anyone who wants to see something different. But expect something VERY different from most Asian movies.

This movie was so short that it's hard to say much about it, but I want it to have a review.
So basically I loved everything about it - The story, the characters, the acting, the ending.
The only thing that annoyed me a little were Shinya's hair and really, that wasn't tragic. ;)
I loved how it switched between friendship and love and how important the relationships between the characters were. I loved Shinya's narrating, too (he does have a great voice) and the overall dreamy feeling this movie had.
I'm surprised it's not popular. Go watch it.

First of all, I don’t know how I end up watching movies that have a sexually explicit scenes in them. This is twice now.
This is NOT a family movie. This movie was recommended to me and I watched it without even knowing what it was about. I love elephants so the name immediately caught my attention. Anyway, the story is unusual and by the end I wasn’t sure what I had just watched. It is a twisted, artsy movie.
Honestly, I love twisted movies and this was just up my alley, but I’m not sure just anyone would like it. View at your own risk.

This was really a great movie and not at all what I was expecting. The acting was amazing, the story something completely different and beautiful, sad and funny at the same time. Seeing that the movie is only one hour long that's already an accomplishment.
Without spoiling anything I can't say much about it, but you should watch it and be surprised. :)

First, I have to say that my being in my late 30s may be the reason why I didn’t enjoy this movie. The story is immature. Are they kindergartners??? I get why the Eun Seong is juvenile in his behavior. He has a lot of baggage dealing with family and friends and never learned how to love. However, Ye Won was just very immature for a high school girl. The path they travel is interesting and there are a few tropes that I have not seen in other Korean dramas, but for the most part I have seen this movie before and it was done better. The acting wasn’t horrible considering what they had to work with. The music sucked. I won’t be rewatching it.

I found out after watching this drama that Jeong Da Bin had committed suicide. It is very sad. RIP
