ian will always love kelly

Out of curiosity i had watch this movie due to Netflix’s suggestion - without knowing that this film will be my fave sad romantic movie ever..Jing Boran and Zhou Douyou amazingly portrayed their characters Jian Qing and Xiao Xiao perfectly..even the soundtrack was also amazing and adds up to the buckets of teard i’ve cried especially when Xiao Xiao read the letter made by Jian Qing for her before he passed away. Im
lost for words on how good this movie is…Will watch this some time again and would definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to know the real meaning of LOVE.

Please note that this movie mentions: drugs, suicide and violence.

It was a great movie, easy to follow, nothing out of this world. It was emotionally captivating and left me crying quite often. I have one problem with this movie though, the same actor playing the 2 different characters, after a certain scene you realize who is who but before that it's hard to tell.
The actors still did a great job portraying the characters, they really made the scenes come to life. This is the type of movie I'd watch again, for comfort in that last scene, where the teacher lets the kids know that they are not alone... heart warming indeed. Overall, great movie. Please do consider watching!

I have mixed deliberations regarding this film. I did revel in its action sequences, especially the opening scene. It was shot in the first-person point of view which made it seem as if I am playing a video game and I was the one in control of all the action. I also liked that Ok-vin's character was not the typical femme fatale whom are oozing with sexual seduction. It was great to have a woman do actual action scenes because it is a necessary part of the plot and not because of the subtle intention of objectifying or fetishizing her. Well, it is doubtful to claim it with utmost certainty, but I just appreciated that she was not portrayed completely using the infamous male gaze.

Though, I have certain doubts regarding the whole story line. I think my problem sometimes with most Korean shows is that even when they're doing thrillers, they almost always have a tendency to become melodramatic. Even the plot twists in this supposedly action film seemed more like a melodrama sensationalism found mostly on makjang dramas—a genre that I just don't seem to enjoy nor appreciate greatly. I am also not a very big fan (especially nowadays) with the "vulnerable past" as a vehicle for most action films. Sometimes, it's just nice to have an action protagonist/s chasing life and death because of a current or future goal.

Still, it was not a wasted experience to have witnessed Kim Seo-hyung, Shin Ha-Kyun, and most especially Kim Ok-vin's exceptional performance. She truly gave an adept and convincing portrayal of being both vulnerable and invincible. She truly was the villainess.

Not bad

It is so so. I mean, it is actually expected because it is just a movie.
I just felt sad for the lovers because the girl adopted someone home then this someone is actually the demon they are looking for. This demon then fell in love with the girl so he decided to hurt the guy. Nice depiction of selfish love and ungratefulness . One thing I dont really get is the ending. What is the purpose of lying?
Anyways they're all good but I honestly will not rewatch.
It is short by the way so no need much investment of time

Face the reality bravely

First of all, this movie isn't just a light-hearted youth film but also a well-thought-out story about how to embrace life. I had no preconceived ideas of what this movie was about as I didn't watch any trailers but just jumped into it because of the cast and director. Man... It hit me with waves of emotions and made me thoughtful for days.

I must say the storytelling is very well-executed. It's no wonder coming from that Director Leste Chen. The main theme of this movie is about embracing the reality with courage whether it is bitter or sweet and growing up along all the experiences you have while chasing your dream. Every character in the movie has difficulty accepting their realities or their real selves in the beginning but in the end, they finally learnt to find courage to reconcile with reality.
The cinematography of some scenes are so mesmerizing and hypnotizing that they gave me out-of-this-world feelings.

About acting and cast, Zhang Zi Feng and Wu Lei are 2 of the most promising actors/actresses in China. They bring depth to the characters that even surpassed the script (according to the director's words) and since they're still very young and very close to the ages of the characters, they look really cute together in school uniforms as well.

Electronic music is a big part of the male lead character's story and there are lots of scenes of electronic music festivals, so if you are a fan of electronic music, you are in for a treat!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FILM ! "THE HOWS OF US" totally blew me away. I wish i could give it more stars because this was a ride i will never forget.I AM COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY!

Mostly, because of the terrific performances by Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo-the superstar on-screen (and off-screen) couple that continue to move thousand of heart all over the country, including mine.Although i am from Sweden. We get to follow a long time couple George and Primo who both love and struggle in their life together. What truly amazed me by both George and Primo is their need for each other, and how lost both were without each other. Both also knew it in their souls.George wanted to support Primo in his dreams of becoming a famous musician, she endured his temper and pride and stubborness in trying to achieve that dream...Primo saw that despite the cloud that consumed him. But a person can only take that much and it is clearly understandable when George exploded. My heart totally broke for these two.Their love and hopelessness...how they still loved each other with all their souls after all these years. How many unforgettable moments to treasure, i absolutely love the sexual tension that always sizzled between Primo and George-and it was easy to see why Daniel and Kathryn have stayed strong in their relationship for almost a decade. They easily convey the emotions their characters feel.We also get beautiful sets of Amsterdam,so happy they filmed there since i also want to travel there someday.

Godzilla and the humans learned a valuable lesson about butterflies/moths in this movie. Don't tick them off!

Godzilla vs Mothra was jammed packed with Kaiju and action. There was an asteroid, volcanic eruption, forest clearing megalomaniacs, a bickering divorced couple, the usual hapless leaders and military, and a Shobijin kidnapping! Mothra is usually a defender of Japan and the Earth. There are three things that will cause her to go into battle mode--(1) Godzilla or some other monster starts tearing up Japan, (2) people abusing the environment, and (3) anyone who messes with her besties, the Cosmos. Godzilla and the humans managed to check off all three.

Godzilla was awakened when an asteroid hit nearby where he was sleeping. It also uncovered Mothra's egg. And it awakened Battra, Mothra's evil twin. Godzilla wanted to be rid of Mothra's egg, and no wonder, she was the only Kaiju (aside from one other female) who had been able to run him out of town. After her caterpillar form and Battra's drove him off, he headed to Japan to start destroying things. Battra, judge and destroyer of those who abuse the earth was out to destroy the humans, leaving Mothra to have to broker peace and clean up the Kaiju mess. Greedy humans had kidnapped her BFF, the Cosmos/Shobijin which caused her to go on a tear as well. Once the Cosmos were safe she turned her attention to Godzilla and Battra.

Godzilla vs Mothra was good fun. Ifukube Akira's score always fits the mood. I'm always happy to hear the Mosura song sung by the Cosmos. The cinematography was better than usual as well. The less said about the humans, the better. Odaka Megumi was back with her ESP connections, a part of the Heisei legacy I've never been able to embrace . The human story worked better for me in this movie because the stories were closely connected to the monsters, especially Mothra. Godzilla's, Battra's, and Mothra's stories and interactions with each other and the humans was well woven throughout the movie. There were not huge swaths of time where the monsters were absent. Of course there were plot holes Big G could have stomped through, but they didn't take away from the enjoyment of the movie.

Godzilla and Battra looked properly menacing while Mothra had a cuddlier look. Cuddly for a giant creature who is able to do battle with Godzilla and could crush Japan if she had a mind to.

If you enjoy Godzilla movies with guys in big rubber suits and a butterfly which looked like it was made out of pipe cleaners, this is definitely one to try.

A hidden gem

Absolutely heart-wrenching, crime thriller...keeping in mind that this masterpiece was produced in 2003 before the case of the Hwaseong murders had been solved, this emotional rollercoaster of a film depicted with such great acting really has you on the edge of your seat. Whether you know the case well or not before you watch, this movie is gripping from the start to the finish.

The depictions of good cops and bad cops brings a certain degree of realism to the film, with Song Kang Ho's character development and his commitment to the case changing throughout the movie, it shows how at the start he was just focused on getting the job done, but as he becomes more attached to the case he realizes that he doesn't want to just get the job done anymore, he wants to find the right person no matter what it takes. He is already an outstanding, renowned actor in South Korea, and seeing him in his younger years in this older film really shows what incredible talent he has had from the start.

Kim Sang Kyung's character 'the good cop' plays the law-abiding cop who is passionate about the case, coming from Seoul to the very countryside areas of Hwaseong because he is determined to solve these murders and capture the correct criminal too, he is also depicted in an incredible manner. Out of the whole cast you will find yourself relating to this character the most, not only is he compassionate and determined but the frustration and continuous unanswered questions he is faced with will have you on the edge of your seat gunning for him to catch a break on this case.

Overall without too many spoilers, the acting in this film is fantastic, the cinematography shown despite the constant dark settings were filmed beautifully and effectively from the start to the very end of the movie, keeping you interested and engaged throughout it. The plot was developed in an interesting and realistic manner considering it's based off true events. Definitely worth the watch, and a re-watch.

I was searching for a relaxing movie today and came across this on netflix.

From the trailer i thought it would be like any other movie, like those you watch to pass time. But in the end it’s so beautiful.

Roy Chiu and Ann Hsu acted so good.

The story was well written

Their love is so beautiful.

By the end your eyes will be puffy from the cry.

Personally I found this movie one that I would recommend to anyone who likes movies with a bit more grit and realism.

Well worth watching!

Ah, what a fun movie! I am 100% sure i will watch this movie again AND AGAIN,it was that good! "Can't Help Falling in Love" is a film to move the hearts of all ages, especially us romance lovers! Its stars Philippines beloved sweethears Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. My heart is still beating HARD in my chest...and i am so touched and moved by this amazing lovely tale of Dos and Gabriela. Daniel haven`t before portrayed a character quite deep like Dos. (and Dos is darn sexy too) Dos is a carefree spirit who takes everyday like it is his last. He is a adventurer and a dreamer...and he falls utterly and completely in love with the woman he married by accident one year ago, Gabriela. Gabriela struggles to fulfill her mother`s and boyfriend`s expectations. She also knows that by marrying a total stranger by accident due to a drunk night out may destroy the "perfect" image she has created for herself so therefore she needs Dos help to get a annulment. It will be a crazy journey that will change her life forever. I have to repeat that i absolutely LOVE Kathryn`s and Daniel`s on-screen chemistry, they create magic in every scene together!

Too real

The 1st lead appears to be cheating on her girlfriend with a man. It appears to be biphobia though. I thought maybe its too realistic because the 2nd lead seems biphobic to her girlfriend. The first lead is maybe ashamed to be in a wlw relationship. They two women have conflict when a man interrupts their date and the 1st lead seems okay with it. The 2nd lead then gets mad and the rest is history. I actually liked it. I didn't like how fast the 2nd lead started sleeping with other women. It was pretty scary

Cute and Simple

It was a cute story. The kiss at the end was really spicy. I love the representation. The only problem I have with it is that she tries/does kiss her while she is sleeping. But overall it is cute and short. I would recommend if you want a cute short story. I haven't seen the second one but I will watch it soon. The beginning was really cute. I think the acting was good too. I hope more people check out the video and the channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrX33h5UHgY I love the channel. It has a lot of wlw representation.

At a loss, but ok.

You could say I watched this movie by accident. And I have mixed feelings, on the one hand, the slow development of the action discouraged me, and on the other hand, the plot interested me. And yes, in a few minutes I stopped watching and after a few minutes I went back to it again. It is certainly not a banal film, but that does not mean that it is an outstanding film for me. It moves on many levels, blurs the boundaries between reality and dream, between desire and realization, between superpower and impotence. But it just so happens that nothing is free. Especially when you reach for something illegally. Vice breeds vice. Does the hero settle accounts with himself? The end is in fairly bright colors. Money, quiet work in a bar with a beloved girl, but does that end the nightmare? In the last scene, Sang Yi is in the dark again. Lectures on the multidimensionality of time, id, ego, superego blur the picture even more.
When it comes to acting, I appreciate Darren Wang, although here his performance in moments of weakness and breakdown of the main character did not appeal to me. On the other hand, it made sense to me to give the character of Hua'er a seemingly expressionless, such overwhelming calm.
Good visuals, matching music and non-disruptive viewing are also pluses.
In summary, the film deals with various aspects of the human psyche and leaves the viewer confused. I will end with a cliche; so what was the author trying to tell us by that?

Fun and enjoyable

I really liked the dynamics between the ML and FL. They were fun, spontaneous, and had each others' backs. The other reviews captured a lot of what I thought about saying.

The final BIG incident was rather interesting. I didn't think it would be the last time they saw each other. I assumed that when she went to the music festival and saw his poster, she'd try to look him up to say, "hi!" and maybe having lunch before the movie was over. Not the case.

At least we got to see them both at the end, even if they didn't interact with each other.

The movie that represents life as it is, and not just in a drama form.

Loved the realness of their interactions, like real friends, and real life, not just a film/drama. I love this kind of real representation of life movies and series, they're the ones that touch me the most and leave me feeling as I was told a story by a friend. I f you like that kind of movie/series as well than that's for you.
The not very defined ending as well, such as life, we don't know how thing went but we chose to believe in how we wanted to go. Loved the music, the actors, the story line and the design of the film in general, the cinematography and photography where on point.
