"Draken is Mikey's heart..."Woo boy, is that true! What an ah-mazing movie! It reminded me so much of High & Low, Mikey & Draken, they were so much like Cobra & Yamato! Which means they were totally up my alley, pushing my buttons, making me squee like a silly goose! Goodness gracious!
I loved it so much, I loved the switching between the present and the past, how things kept changing with Takamichi going back and forth, everything but Draken's death which then always led to Hina's death. I especially loved the change that happened in Mikey who used to be so silly and fun but after losing Draken, he died on the inside, he was just going through the motions, not caring about anything or anyone, because with Draken he lost his heart. The dragon tattoo on his neck was the perfect touch!
Oh wow, oh my! I'm kinda sorta vibrating on the inside because this movie is so full of bromance and whump and the chemistry between Yoshizawa Ryo (Mikey) and Yamada Yuki (Draken) is out of this world!

I really wanted to like this movie. The cover and synopsis are amazing and I'm such a horror/paranormal junkie that I thought there would be no question- that I would love the heck out of it.I was wrong.
I know "slow build up" is a big thing in horror/thriller, but come on... don't put your audience to sleep. I wanted to cut this off 5 minutes in, that is how slow and draggy it was. But I kept pushing myself thinking it would get better. Again, I was wrong. As soon as Hiroki showed up, I knew I would stay for him and him alone because I saw ZERO hope for this movie actually turning in to anything. I was right about that.
I felt zero connection to the characters and if anything the main female irritated me to no ends. When she would panic and over react her breathing. I wanted to scream shut up. Everything she did was over reacting (this is my personal opinion, don't come for me). I wish they had casted someone better for her. Maybe then it would be a little better?
The storyline was the same as any other, honestly. I'm not hating on that though, there are a lot of horror shows/movies out there that are pretty much cut outs of a different show but they somehow make it just as good.... this one fell short. Way short and left nothing to the imagination. Not far in, you pretty much know who is who and what is what. No mystery at all. Lol

People need to take a film for what it is, entertainment.
If I was Son Ye Jin's husband, I would be okay to her having 2 husband's. Jokes aside it was an entertaining film and had a lot of LOL moments, there are quite the good and and bad with the film so let's start.Story: first time hearing the plot from YouTube, I was intrigued but thought it was strange as well. As it started they were already a couple 15mins in therefore I wasn't feeling the chemistry at first(more on that later) and unable to empathize with our main character. Added to that is how annoying both are. It's a shame because I actually liked it and laughed a lot while watching but overall was not more than a 6. It had a good message at the End and is recommendable as a B side Romantic Comedy
Acting/Cast: the late Kim Joo Hyuk played the character well, he showed the confusion, anger, loneliness, and love of a character having a wife that loves him but not only him. Son Ye Jin as always is a staple in romance movies, I love how she shows such an absurd character in to life and delivered the lines in a manner where I believe YeJin actually wants 2 husband's. Their chemistry as I said was lacking at the 1/3 of the movie but got better as it progresses.
Music:. The music was placed at the right places at the right time. The tracklist we're perfect for both the comedy and romance of the film.
Rewatch Value: i enjoyed the film however this is not something i would want to rewatch any time soon. It was a great romantic comedy but there are many other films that are far better in storytelling and plot with still showcasing the romcom.
Overall: all in all this film can be something you may want to watch with your partner and see the opinions of yourself and your partner to the issues that are presented in the film. Dobby warned the film 18 + movie there for you wouldn't want to watch this film with someone who will make things uncomfortable.

Low Key Sci-Fi Sweet Movie
The cat is a cutie. The humanoid robots (the actor and actresses were fantastic, especially the receptionist ones) are decent. This should've been a show and not a movie, they needed more time to really get the Sci-Fi part better. I was happy with the acting from everyone. The "villain" wasn't dark enough, but still worked. I was pleased with the ending. The OST wasn't anything special, but at least it didn't annoy me and I didn't have to mute the TV due to it.
I will watch again. A solid 7.5/10 overall!

Emotional Rollercoaster
That was one hell of a ride. I admit, I had been curious about this movie for a while but kept seeing low ratings so I always passed it up. Finally tonight with nothing else better to do I thought "eh why not?" -- Dude, I have no idea why the rating is so low on this movie. It was fucking amazing! From the start I was laughing my ass off. This movie is so weird and unique but without a doubt they managed to pull my heartstrings until I cried.
Every character was interesting, I couldn't help but to love them. (well... most of them.) I kinda wish this was a show so I could see more of them. The actors were phenomenal.
I think the only issue I had about the movie was how it ended. I'm actually really confused at to what happened? I really don't understand it so I feel like I'm missing out and even though I want to be happy, my confusion makes it where I really can't be?
There is really so much I want to day about this show but because every piece is tightly woven, I feel like if I say to much I'll give everything away. Lol Gah I didn't want this to end though. It was so good. I wish there was a second movie or tv series spin off (given IF they kept the same actors. lol)

PAINFUL AF!!!!!
Typical story where you fall in love with your childhood friend, then when you grow up, a girl comes into the picture. When I watched this, the only thing I thought was 'poor Jonathan'
He deserves better; not a 'friend' who had sex with him even when he's straight and had a gf. The girl's too, she's kinda annoying? Like, she tried to be kind - acting like a best friend, while she's supposed to stay back and let the men cleared things out (glad that in the end, she did it tho)
Anyway, Shane is an asshole. Maybe he's confused idk, but he didn't want to lose Jonathan as his best friend, and his girlfriend. Bruh, you can't have everything in this world. He's even making it worse by having sex with Jonathan then acted pitiful in the end. So, in conclusion: Shane is a red flag walking.
For Jonathan, I was hoping that he had a stronger character in the movie. Yes, love hurts, bae T.T I also felt bad at him because of his father demands for his future. If only Shane understood him better -.- but no, Shane only cared for Jonathan to watch his basketball so that he could act cool blablabla.

"The whole world seems cursed"
I don't usually watch horror, but the story of seemed interesting and fascinating. So, I thought I should give it a try. I just finished watching it, so the emotions are still fresh and raw.Just like as headline says, for Ga-In, her whole world seems cursed with no way to escape from the curse. The first half of the movie progresses into her realizing the curse she always bore and the last half is about her life turning into an empty pithole of what is real and what is not.
《Don't trust anyone. Your friends, your family. Not even yourself. Then, you just might live》
Those are the words that she thought to be an escape from her curse. A ray of hope to survive. But those words were what created a path that led her into destruction.
There are several jump scares and out of nowhere, dream sequences that gives it a disguise of our typical horror movie. But it really isn't. Those sudden dream sequences serves a purpose. And I believe those jump scares are way of alerting viewers of the possible danger. Then, when a seemingly normal person enters the scene, it makes viewers and Ga-in feel relieved only to be introduced with the real danger.
The acting was the main reason why I feel some of the most ridiculous scenes felt fascinating and intriguing to watch. All the actors done their part almost perfectly. But the actor who played as Ga-in did a very great job. All the emotions she potrayed and how she delivered her dialogues which weren't that imapctful left an impact and captivated me as a viewer.
The storyline was gloomy and somewhat thrilling and the actors did a great job to keep the vibe in their acting. Even a smiling face seemed sad and a sad face scary because at times, it's just Ga-in's delusion and at times, the face will soon show a new level of insanity.
I didn't notice the music much as the story was pretty fast-paced in my opinion and I didn't want to miss any important scenes.
I don't think Someone Behind You will be as much thrilling to watch the second time as the first time. But I think if you enjoy the gloominess of this movie, then you will be able to re-watch it, maybe, not with the same excitement, but at least, without getting bored since it is somewhat a fast-paced movie with talented actors and a good storyline.

My heart hurts
Ahh, I must say the movie is very well made, the actors are v good I usually don’t really watch movies/series without skipping at least one scene but I didn’t skip any scenes sooo must be a good movie!!This movie felt so raw and real. The acting was so wonderful I genuinely believed that these were real people and not just characters in a movie. The conversations they shared will definitely resonate with a lot of the audience. The cinematography was also breathtaking; almost every scene felt like art and I just loved how the music complemented every scene. It’s everything a coming-of-age movie should be.

THE ONES LIVING FOR TOMORROW GET F**KED BY THE ONES LIVING FOR TODAY
Since this movie has had a lot of reviews obviously, I would write something unconventional.Won Bin, I dunno why he halted his acting career, the man is so talented.
What an outstanding performance!
That child was magnificent, she even won an award for her performance.
Although the plot is conventional, the execution is gripping.
Each and every actor in this movie is phenomenal, leaves an impact, whether it's the gangsters or the protagonist, even the police officer played a great role.
All this can only be possible if the director is legendary.
By far this could've been his dream work.
The movie is well thought and executed, each and every scene is important along with the violence and profanity it showed, but also managed to focus on the human side of nature.
A child brings a lot of emotions especially when you see a cold guy like him in the movie.
Some people hate children, I've come across quite a few but then again they remind me of the essence of why a child is important, why childhood is important and moreover why being a child is important.
Each child is an enigma in itself.
As the movie says, just giving birth isn't parenting.
Children realize the parenting values towards anyone they can get the warmth and feeling from.
~ Special mention to the villains, Kim Hee Won and Kim Sung Oh.
Who knew these guys could play such an ultimate villain, I've only seen them in stupid roles in the dramas.
They were magnificent in the movie.
A scumbag of a villain is always the ones that look weak but can do the most heinous crimes possible.
Kudos to the director for finding such actors and making them execute their talent.
Kindness and Humanity go hand in hand with the dirty heinous part of the world .
The profanity of scenes in this movie is what makes it special, it was ugly indeed but you could see it through.
And believe that this exists but in the same world a love exists too.
Marvellous effort.
And who can forget the bass in Won Bin's voice? Top-Notch dialogue delivery.
Overall, this movie was such a great experience to have.
One of the best ways you could've spent your 2 hrs.

Not Like Original. Watch It as a Stand Alone.
Unfortunately because this was supposed to be a sequel to the original oscar winning movie it never had a chance to cut thae grade of the first. But if you watch it on its own merits by the dynamic casting of Donnie Yen and Michelle yeoh, both legends in their own right, and look at the rest of the young cast there is good solid acting and great potential for the younger. I loved it because I watched it on its own merits and the combination of Donnie and Michelle and what was once thought to be was not I looked upon this as telling the story behind Michelle's character. How she coped with Chow Yun 's death and finding out a death had come to life. It is still a movie about honour, dignity, duty, piety, the martial world and a love refound and a love started. I do not think they could have made this in any other way because the great figure in the first movie was like no other. In this it shows that they had flaws and made wrong decisions and not everything is as you may think. The sword was supposed to be the centrepiece but truthfully I believe it was Michelle's character and opening her eyes and her heart and still remain true to herself and keep her love locked in a space in heart for another to be able to enter. There is now way you could compare the 2 movies as they were different stories and as I said before, it could not surpass the first. But it was wonderful to see what happened to her afterwards. It gave closure for me. Watch it as a stand alone movie.. You will enjoy it more. Was this review helpful to you?
yeah i agree, it's disappointing and if it weren't for raul, i wouldn't watch this
this is my first time writing a review in mdl so pls bear with me. i really want to write a review about this movie because it's so bad and disappointing, i had to let my frustration out. i'm a new fan of snow man and when i heard that raul has a movie i got excited and watched it only to feel disappointed and bad for him. the storyline sucks and very cliche and when i saw on the synopsis that he has a secret i got intrigued only to get disappointed again. really? that was the secret? i was expecting more. okay, raul has the potential in acting but i guess honey lemon soda isn't for him I MEAN, WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH HIS VOICE? I hope they can give my boy more projects where his character is alike with what he really is like in real life. Anyways the girls in this movie are all so pretty like seriously. Was this review helpful to you?
Watch for the cat and the humanoid
7 Tips to Find that Door into Summer:1. Pete the cat is adorable. I want that cat. Scratch that. I NEED that cat.
2. Pete the humanoid is equally adorable. He is more human than the human in this movie.
3. Acting kudos goes to Pete the cat AND the customer service humanoid. They are believable in their characters.
4. Expect some mind-blowing sci-fi movie? Lower it down.
5. Pete the cat is adorable. I just need to say it again.
6. Watch if you need a respite in between or after a heavy gut-wrenching drama/movie.
7. Treat this movie as if you're going to watch a super fluffy romcom/comedy.

Enjoyable short movie
Overall: it has funny, sweet and serious parts. Watched on Gagaoolala.Content Warnings: none
What I Liked (very minor spoilers)
- many sweet moments like bike riding, sharing earbuds, dancing around
- funny moments like pretending to be a ghost
- the kiss was pretty well done
Room For Improvement
- we have the cliched evil female character with no consequences for her actions
- a few shaky camera parts
- wouldn't he have a cell phone? If there was parental interference, I wish there was a line about it

ah, we love a good cop movie
Okey dokey so I've been feeling kinda meh and really needed to watch something investing and funny. Oh boy did it deliver, gripping action, genuinely wicked gritty plot and eliteee bromance and witty bants between the leads. It was a great balance between comedy and seriousness, the weight of the situation was handled well and the morals were delivered well too whilst simultaneously making me laugh and wanting to rewatch certain moments. I'm in such a great mood after watching this wowee ahah, ah, looking back I really really enjoyed that, 1hr 50 mins very well spent indeed. As did everyone else who reviewed this movie, I really liked Ki Joon and Hee Yeol's dynamic, effortlessly funny honestly idek how else to describe it. The plot of this movie I just love, I feel like so much happens and all of it actually matters, no wasted time, no faffing with unnecessary side plots, straight to the point action we love to see it. I loved the little references they would make to previous parts of the movie and how cohesive everything was, nothing wildly complicated but still intriguing and intricate I felt.Overall, thoroughly enjoyed this movie woah I would have no problem watching it again because it was seriously so good and I had a great time watching it. I probably wouldn't jump to watch it ASAP because I don't feel like that would exactly do much for me ygm, but I can 100% see myself roping someone else in to watch it with me in the future. Ah, wonderful, wholly satisfied and feeling much better than before :)))

I wish I could dissappear, like i never existed
"Burning" has been on my mind ever since I saw it a years ago—and I've been yearning for a film like this ever since, but honestly there's nothing like it. It's smart. It doesn't cry out for you to spot little things and expect praise. It's just so minimal yet liminal. Burning is a mostly slow and subtle film but when it hits it hits hard. It often follows the protagonist in his seemingly mundane daily routine and very little information is revealed about the few characters involved. It's amazing, almost like magic, how this film keeps the mystery of a story so close to us. It's hard to describe the feeling it gives off after i watch it. It's like seeing an optical illusion. The theme of seeing what is not there is what underlies the story of this film. We can get clues about this from the scene where Hae-mi mimes eating oranges in front of Jong-su who gapes at the beginning of the story. It's so realistic, Jong-su can feel the sweetness of the oranges Hae-mi is eating, but there aren't really any oranges there. This film confuses, grips us tightly, makes us miserable by our own bad thoughts, it's so good and entertaining in its own way. The events in this film are intended to be a mystery, open to the interpretation of each viewer, how each of us sees things. The uncertainty of what really happened is the film's main strength.Burning is not like a traditional (Hollywood) thriller where clue after clue is dropped one after another, nor is it one where you are certain of what the end goal is. The extra-diegetic music is not used as a device to necessarily excite, but more as a way to help build tension and a mild anxiety. It is a quiet film filled with lonely characters. Because of that, I can’t recommend it to people who are looking for the traditional thriller because this film isn’t that – it offers more of a study on the characters, their surroundings
