Cute but not happy ending
I actually like this one. I usually don't like films with unhappy endings but this one is different. The wlw couple is very cute. A man asks the second lead to go out and that was the beginning of the end for their relationship. The second lead doesn't tell the man that they are together. It really causes problems. I believe the flashback was the cutest part. The acting was really good. I liked the story too. I did not really pay attention to the music . I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it but it was good.Was this review helpful to you?
Cute feel good story
It was so cute. I haven't stopped thinking about it since I seen it. It makes me so happy. Their height difference is cute. The characters felt like actually people. It felt natural. It was amazing. I hope to get more backstory and something about their future. Honestly they are both so cute I hug want to give them a hug. Strongberry is always making the best queer shows. It is so nice to see representation that isn't about homophobia or coming out. I like those stories to, but this was such a feel good film. I'm in love with it.Was this review helpful to you?

I am in love with this wlw film. It was so realistic. It didn't feel fake at all. It felt real and I love that about it. The love confession was so sweet. I love how shy they were. It was only one scene and yet it was so impactful. I totally recommend it to everyone. Strongberry proves they are superior. It was so wholesome and sweet. I will probably re-watch it a few time just to relive it. I really hope they make a second one where they reconnect in college. Strongberry seriously has some of the best LGBTQIA+ representation in Asian media.Was this review helpful to you?

cute wlw couple
It had a nice main couple, but I just have a problem with the fact that the first lead changes her mind so fast. She was in love with the man one second and the next she was kissing the second lead. I think it would have been ironic if the two guys got together too. I want to watch the second one and the two mini series. Hopefully it explains everything better. Not exactly like the Fatal Frame games, but still great
I love this movie. It is one of my favorite wlw movies. I'm obsessed with the two leads. They are so attractive. So many wlw couples throughout. I loved the story. The plot twist was so good. I'm not too good at predicting things, so it might have been a little predictable. To me it wasn't predictable at all. I was in love with the leads relationship. I honestly hope they make a spinoff of them, or some of the couples in the photograph room. They don't use a camera in it- which is a big part of the Fatal Frame series. cute mlm story
I liked it. It was fluffy. It did not have much plot, well it did it just had too many plot holes. It was very cute and fluffy. I liked the first leads voice. When I was done watching As If You Whisper, I had more questions than answers. I feel like if it was a longer film, strongberry could have filled the plot holes better. I still think it was cute. AND Strongberry has great queer stories. I feel like the actors had a lot of chemistry-especially in the cute scene on the side of the road. I love Strongberry because they don't fetishize queer people. Overall it made me happy, but a little confused.Was this review helpful to you?
Love the representation <3
(TW: the movie had some rape and assault themes in it. It isn't that explicit and only shows a little bit of it)I love this movie. One of the best LGBTQIA+ Asian movies. It only had two sex scenes and as a person who doesn't enjoy (straight) sex scenes it was okay . I was really rooting for both relationships. I feel like I could relate to all of the main characters. I personally got so much gender envy from the trans man. I love him so much, All of the main characters were lovable. If you are queer, I would totally recommend it.Was this review helpful to you?
cute representation but not the best
I personally liked the story. It could be improved yes, but I liked it. I wish it would have ending different. I would recommend it if you want a some (maybe) one-sided wlw story. The actors were very pretty. I think they did a good job. It is worth a watch although it might not be for everyone. I have a soft spot for queer short films. I did not like the second lead's character until it was almost over. It felt like a small slice of life movie, and I love that. I wouldn't watch it again out of love but I would watch it again out of boredom. That being said it isn't bad at all.Was this review helpful to you?
Weird. Intriguing. Familiar cast.
Let me just start of with saying that the soundtrackof this film is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately I can't find it anywhere, and scrolling to the end of the film to listen to it is starting to get dull.
I liked the ending and the first half hour best, the rest was confusing (boring, dare I say) and in the end it felt like there was still something missing. This does have to do with how much creative liberty was taken here.
The director did an excellent job at showcasing loneliness.
Edit: I had rated it two stars (4/10) but this film has lingered with me. Not all parts were good but I can't shake the feeling it gave me. All in all a very cool film.

Janice wu is such a great actress
This was so good i was expecting that sehuns acting will be mediocre at best but wow he wrecked my expectations in a good way and janice wu's actin was great as expected and their chemistry did feel like it was just acting but still they felt like a genuine couple in some ways and i watched another cat/human drama and honestly i liked this more only because i liked their chemistry more and janice wu is just one of my top 10 greatest chinese actresses and sehun the only reason ik who EXO are because of love shot and the only one i knew before sehun is kai cuz he dated jennie anyway back to topic my only problem is the fact its a movie in movies i always feel like the romance is rushed but here it really did feel like genuine progression of their love when you consider they were in love when they were young.Was this review helpful to you?

Don't Click means Don't Watch..Okay, maybe not because everyone's taste is different. Some might see this as a work of art while others, like me, wish it didn't exist. Lol
I've actually watched this movie a few times..... because i keep trying to find the point, reason, SOMETHING as to why this movie is what it is.... but there is nothing. It's still confusing and makes zero sense imo.
It's pretty much if you ordered the Ring off wish. That's what i feel like this movie relates to. Lol. Least the Ring had a back story and reason. Still not sure why this happened in the movie, unless they did explain it and i blinked..... every single time. Lol
This was the biggest let down because this could have had a lot of promise.

Over all, I ended up loving this movie.Though, pretty sure I'm character/actor biased. Lol
First starting off it seemed like the usually (boring) slow-burn, but pretty quickly things started to pick up. I think the humor parts are what really kept this movie going for me because the surrounding scenes complemented it perfectly. It was serious and tense just enough to not make your head explode and the funny moments were timed perfectly to where it was just * chef's kiss*
Was not, repeat, was NOT a fan of Chen at first. But i wasn't a fan of Duan Mo Ze either..... I think previous shows and movies have made me sus over anyone who is "to nice" like he was. Lol.
In the end I did like Duan Mo Ze. Still iffy about Chen. But with the ending I think she did make right choice though lol. She is definitely not the shy, weak, take the punches kinda girl i thought she was. Lol
Even though this is the typical love triangle storyline that we can't seem to escape from, I still loved it.

Perfect Introductory work to Ran Masak or Masahito Segawa....
"Roman Porno from 1985. A young teacher heads off to teach fencing in a school in the countryside."This is a Japanese Cat III movie which contains lots of frontal nudity but it is not vulgar as other Cat III movies are...
The fencing teacher Noriko Saotome (Ran Masak), is invited to teach fencing at a remote mountain school, not realizing that her so-called friend, Saeko Okazaki (Izumi Shima) has a personal reason and ulterior motive in recommending her for the open position...
It turns out from even before the two ladies reach the school, that the male students in the school (young students (and later, the faculty alike) are misogynist. Also, an incident shows that the female students are very tolerant of this mindset.
First, mistreatment by students leads the main female lead into a world of sex, submission and perversion by all men, including the school's principal.
Although many reviewers believe this is not worth watching, I totally disagree. This is a great film featuring nudity but no raunchy sex scenes!
The cinematography is as good as any other regular film for its time, both the inside and outside settings. The music which assists in setting mood and segues in the movie is excellent and the actors/actresses play their roles convincingly and add to the overall atmosphere of this under-rated movie.
From my readings on the Internet, the actress Ran Masak maintained a special working relationship with director Masahito Segawa during their professional career years; I would recommend trying all the movies in which they collaborated.

Wrap Up.
The final stage of the Liar Game only had a single game. But, it is this lone game that people refuse to take risks with.I enjoyed the Garden of Eden a lot. The tricks were more intricate and I failed to see through many of them, just like the second season. But, Nao-chan had an incredible character growth compared to the first season. She is much more braver and less 'stupid' than before. Akiyama never really changes. (Which is a good thing.)
Though I liked the game, I understood why it was made as a separate one without combining with the episodes. But, I missed seeing more intense games like the first two seasons. Overall, it's an almost perfect wrap up to the Liar Game. I will surely miss every player's antics.

Emotionally Rewarding Story
"Welcome" is an uplifting movie that warms our hearts while watching it. It is a story of three youngster friends, Hye Sook, Gi Joo and Taek Gyoo, that grew up in Andong. Hye Sook is a chef that is married to a loser and she is running away from the loser husband. Gi Joo is a struggling author that is getting a divorce. Taek Gyoo is married happily and he is the one that works as a catalyst that glues the friendship back again. I really like Hye Sook's mom and Hye Sook's daughter, they are the guardian angels for Hye Sook. Also, Taek Goo is really a good friend, he saves Gi Joo from committing a suicide and guides Gi Joo during his struggles. I cannot forget to mention that the scenery in Andong is truly beautiful.I really enjoyed watching the movie, it is a heartwarming story, it would be a wonderful daily drama or weekend drama series. It has a lot of potential to be a memorable drama series since it warms our hearts and not making us stressful, while watching it on weekends or on weekday evenings.
