Such a heartfelt and meaningful message communicated through the show!

I have never had to deal with such serious disorders or diseases, but this kdrama really made me feel like I was one of the nurses living through what hospital life felt like. The characters were so relatable, and I liked how there were a lot of different representations of different disorders and such. Moreover, I did not expect such a change throughout the other end of the show; when she begins to feel depressed and gains symptoms slowly, I thought that was really well portrayed as it didn't happen quickly, but more gradually. Through the female lead, I was able to see the challenges she faced during her job and the adversities she had to overcome as a nurse with depression. Especially during that episode, I guess I saw that doctors and nurses are also people and humans who have feelings.

Personally, I think the only thing that is making me hesitant about making it a full 10/10 is the pacing and a little bit of the romance that was depicted. Don't hate me for saying this, but I think the childhood friend had more chemistry than the other doctor! Maybe because they just clash well together and had better banter, but I felt like the romance between the fl and ml felt rushed and kind of forced. From giving rice cakes out and quickly developing feelings for the fl, I feel like it was too quick. However, I did like that he never gave up on his feelings and pursued her: that is what made him better than the childhood friend. He had more courage and wasn't a coward like the childhood friend, but I just wish I could see them interact more, as I didn't feel that spark between them that I did with the fl and her childhood friend.

Overall, this kdrama had an excellent plot, and the actors did such an amazing job with their roles! I loved how the story showed that professionals can also feel feelings and can experience hardships just as much as their patients. I felt connected to the main characters of the show, and I especially loved the head nurse and her story about her sister. It made me feel like she was fit for her job.

world building lacks a bit

Throughout the whole show I was wondering how certain details about the world building each kingdom's cultivation techniques, etc. work. I'm not sure whether that information was lost from book to series adaptation or if it never existed in the first place. It makes me want to read the book.
I also felt that the dialogue was weak at times and the script could've been better to have a stronger sense of relationship between certain characters or to build up tension in moments of danger and through hardships.
The story itself was very enjoyable, although I think the ending happened a bit too quick. The final battle lasted way less than I thought it would, as though it was too easy.
Aesthetically it was very pretty and I liked all the actors on it.

One of my favorite series!

One of my favorite series!

As a FirstKhao fan, this show met all my expectations in every way. I loved seeing Khaotung as a ruthless hitman who turns into an absolute cutie whenever he's around First's character. Meanwhile, First's character, consumed by guilt, gradually gets caught up in the situation and spends the last six episodes trying to make amends.

Episode 6 is, by far, the best episode of the series for me.

I also discovered JoongDunk through this show and was immediately won over by their chemistry. Dunk, in particular, plays his role perfectly.

However, I have to say that what truly sets The Heart Killers apart is its soundtrack. Every song is carefully selected by P'Jojo and fits each scene perfectly. Even a year later, the soundtrack is still among my favorites on Spotify.

I highly recommend this series without hesitation.

A series well worth watching again without hesitation.

This series is truly on a whole different level compared to most of the shows I've watched. Let's start with the historical period it portrays. As a European, I wasn't very familiar with Thailand's history, and this series taught me a lot. The costumes and the music were my absolute favorite aspects. I love this era, and the show really makes you feel transported back to the 1970s.

Even though it's been several months since I watched this series for the first time, the soundtrack remains one of my all-time favorites. I can't even count how many times I've listened to Hold Your Hands :-)

And of course, the actors are outstanding. Mile and Apo are truly extraordinary—two mature actors who perform with such naturalness and talent. The SonEuro couple was also a real revelation. Even without a happy ending for them, they undoubtedly left a lasting impression thanks to their incredible performances.

A series well worth watching again without hesitation.

A MUST WATCH DRAMA!!

I have never wrote reviews before but this drama is so good and excellent with a strong storyline, great acting and beautiful cinematography. The romance is developed beautifully, combining emotional depth, longing and genuine chemistry between the characters. Every stage of their relationship feels natural and meaningful, making their journey incredibly engaging. It’s well-paced, heartfelt and truly unforgettable from start to finish! The actors did a great job indeed. Each and every episode of this drama is beautiful! And the osts are also amazing!

I will watch basically anything if it's wlw, especially if it features a masc/butch lesbian. There is almost no representation for masc lesbians anywhere, not just in asian media, so this miniseries is a welcome addition to the sapphic media landscape in my books. The story itself is simple and a little bit disjointed because of the extremely short lenght, but still very enjoyable and cute. Would recommend.

and the hits keep on hitting

I truly loved Bloodhounds as it had a more cohesive storyline and a purpose. the second season was a show to just demonstrate brutality, and though they win in the end, it there was such an imbalance that I developed Stockholm syndrome and rooted for the bad guys. why? who doesn’t like winners. and that’s why I didn’t enjoy this show as much because of that. unlike other bullying shows, there was a build up of hope. this shows didn’t have that. everyone either got sick, broken or died. of course in the end the bad guys loses and so what, the good guys were losing from the beginning. acting is superb but these are the shows why bullying is growing in this world, it seems to give them hope they’ll win the battle.

Sonya and Lookmhee deserve better series than this

I like Sonya and Lookmhee together since they have great chemistry, however, I have not really enjoyed any of their series. I wanted to like this one, since I thought a lot of the usual problems their shows have would not rise up in a rom-com but I was wrong...

My biggest problem with this show was the completely nonsensical personality shift that happened to Si at the end of episode 7. Her suddenly becoming really obsessive and jealous pretty much undid all of her great character development. I hate the "you can't talk to other women/men" charactertype in romace series in general.

What also really bothered me throughout this series was the weird lack of consent and ignoring of boundaries. There was a great moment in this series where Si told Klao that she did not like being kissed without her consent. However, not long after that, Si herself kissed Klao while she was asleep, not able to consent to the kiss. Again, the impact of the previous scene where consent was discussed in a meaningful way was basically undone. On top of that, Klao acts in a really uncomfortable way towards Si throughout the first episodes of the series, always groping her and trying to get unnecessarily close even when Si expresses that she is not comfortable. Like I said, there is one scene where consent gets discussed, however, I don't really think it covers all of the instances where Klao does not respect Si's boundaries. The relationship between Si and Klao is portrayed as healthy even though most of the moments where they are supposedly getting closer are set in motion by Klao harassing Si. With this kind of set up sexual harassment gets inevitably downplayed.

The conclusion to the plot concerning Si's ex was also not handled with enough care. Yes, this is a comedy and the scene where the ex gets beaten up by a rooster was pretty funny, but I don't think what happened to her at the end was right. I get it, she was a stalker and tried to blackmail Si, but I don't think her getting actually beaten up by Klao, tied up, and getting left in the middle of nowhere was the right way to end that plot. Call me the friend that's too woke but I don't think a woman getting assaulted and tied up is funny, even when it's done by another woman. She should just not have shown up anymore after she got hit by Klao and shat on by the rooster for the first time and it would've been fine. She was obviously in the wrong but so was what happened to her in the end. In a different kind of series it could've worked, but not in a rom-com where it's treated as a gag.

Now, what I really liked was Si's character development. She grew into a really likable character but still retained some of her brattiness which made her fun (until she did a complete 180 and basically regressed to her previous self after the wedding of course...). Klao was kind of fun too. Everybody else, though, was really bland. I would've especially liked to see more of Si's sister, Song, and how their conflict got resolved since that basically doesn't get explained at all. I think this series would've been a lot better if everything that happened after the wedding got scrapped and that screentime was dedicated to flesh out Si's family conflict a little bit more.

Sonya and Lookmhee are genuinely good actresses and I am praying that their next project is better than this.

Is your first love Food?

then, Start watching now.

Food analogy: Buffet.

I always start my reviews with some kind of food analogy but this series has so much food in it that i had to buffet it.

It is not just the food but Comedy gold. The story is incredibly heartwarming, filled with friendship and character growth. "Status window" Webtoon have long been famous in korea, it was high that it would enter the kdrama market as well. What i can tell you is that you would need tissues because you will cry while laughing so damn hard in every episode. The plot is pretty straight forward but the beauty is in thr form in which the story is told. To some it may seem like white washing the military like but i choose to believe that friendly military camps might exist, atleast in my imagination it does.

Watch for the cute characters that will make you root for them as well as the light undertone of predictable mystery will give this show an umami flavour.

Good watch for heavy days.

WOW DOMUNDI HAS DONE IT AGAIN!!!

Love Upon a Time is in great contention to be the best BL series of the year!

I love that Domundi is obviously really trying their best and putting enough money in their series.

The series, centered around the timeless love of 2 souls out of their time, is a high value production with good cinematopgraphy, beautiful set pieces and intricate costumes. Wonderfully executed by the same director of Khemjira (which clearly influenced this series with their past-lives concepts) and fully embracing the Thai history and culture which made the series all the more unique and enjoyable.

The cast were amazing. NetJJ chemistry is so electric- i am so glad they found the perfect new partner for Net. Net is born to be an actor and is just a natural on screen - and that bathing scene in the river will forever be etched in my brain. JJ may be amatuerish and at times may feel "overacting", but as the episodes go on you just cant help but fall for his charm, his cuteness, and comedic timing. The way he uses his facial expressions so candidly can be so disarming. LatteKim is also the perfect second couple, but let me warn you about Latte because this guy has no right to be this HOT.

I initially brushed this off because i thought it was going to be a copy of the recently concluded series 'Im the Most Beautiful Count" - it has the same present to past time travelling concept, but boy am i glad that ididnt skip this because not only did LUAT execute the concept better, they even tied the story in a very neat bow to make us all feel good after finishing the series. In fact i think they ended the series so beautifully and conclusively that it leaves zero chances for a sequel.

This series will also remind you of two of the most famous K-drama time travelling series - Scarlet Heart and Bon Apettit Your Majesty - and im glad to report that LUAT has managed and ended this series far better than those 2 korean series.

It is also important to mention again that i loved that this series (just like Khemjira and Duang before it ), is not following a strict 45min or 60min runtime, but instead allows each episodes to run in varying length to fully tell their stories. Yes, the episodes maybe longer than usual but it doesnt drag the story - it feels like they have carefully planned and mapped out the entire story. perfectly sprinkled with all the BL tropes we all loved, with a hint of bright violet unicorn fart While i understand that not every series and production companies allows a free range runtime especially those who are airing on freetv, im glad that the Domundi series being produced lately is fully taking advantage of its platforms to be free to tell their stories in their own way and in their own time.

Do i also need to say how much i love Domundi is pushing the limits with regards to their sexy scenes?

While the series has a lot of strength, its not without flaws. One main point where the creators took a lot of creative liberties is the acceptance of gay and same sex relationships in old Thailand (and its neighboring countries in SouthEast Asia for that matter) - it is widely believed that the Asian cultrues are more accepting of the sane sex relationships during those times before the western colonizers came to the region. Another matter in particular is romanticising the concepts of slave servants wherein the slaves acts as if they are friends to their master. I also hate the reincarnation idea that once a servant always a servant because even in the present times all the slaves in the past are stuck in the same low social status.

Will i rewatch ? Already saw all episodes twice. Will i recommend? Are you kidding, of course! Overall its a 9.75. I really hope that Domundi can keep this momentum going.

Yes, it was okay

I'll make this as direct as possible.

They tried. Mostly delivered in script, acting, pacing and cohesiveness. They lacked in conciseness of ep, length of series, unnecessary moments, circular story patterns and there were some moments that gave pause for the purpose. Why? Like tone down Meng (voice) and LatteKim nc (rushed slightly non feeling performance and Kim's expression). Less is more.

Net, JJ, Tonnam, Kim and Latte in that order. Net gave a plausible and endearing performance which I loved. JJ comedic skills were nice but stretched on for too many episodes. Were there kinks still to be smoothened in their responses to each other? Yes. Are they beautiful and full of chemistry? Undeniable. There was not a moment that they did not light up the screen when they were together. Tonnam (Chuai) was a delight everytime he was on screen. Perfectly cast here. Kim did well for an effeminate male in the past and Latte, hopefully, with more experience would grow smoother in delivery. Though I did like his more pensive moments than the clownish.

Side note: Writers please retire any name that will be shortened to Thi/Tee. Enough of the Phi Thi, please.

Resolving a time travel plot would have issues if not handled correctly. Having a character re-appear in the past is more easily explained than him disappearing right before your eyes and from your grasp. That is grounds for a mental institution for life or constant care from Dr Jom. Their meet in the future was really cute tho. Then the resolution at the ruins solved the modern day ache.

I didn't expect much and it stayed in that scheme so I was not disappointed. Would I recommend to watch, yes.

Wanna punch someone but...

... you can't because there are laws and all, watch this.
Food analogy: hot and Spicy ramen
It makes your eyes and mouth weep but fills your heart with satisfaction.

I won't say that this drama didn't have any flaws but it actually is true to it's name. It does "teach a lesson" to those who needed. It takes realistic issues and resolves them in an unorthodox lawless way, which to me, who watches a lot of fantasy drama, doesn't take away from the satisfaction that i felt after each episode. Most people generally day-dream about the horrifying ways that the bullies should be punished, this show just brings them to the screen. Although, in the later episodes, I felt like the issues were pretty loosely dealt with, mainly because they had to rush to end the issue. Nevertheless, Who doesn't like watching Karma bite someone in the back.

One thing i can assure you, if you love watching bullies get what they deserve. You will be pretty satisfied with the show.

Will definitely rewatch it during my frustrating moods.

Good but not the best. The drama was basically spammed 10s to raise the rating

I am a huge sucker for historical dramas. It may be straight or BL and this is probably on the bottom on the list. Now that doesn't mean this is bad. It's an above average show. Pretty good just not the best. After having a 7.2 during the initial episodes fans basically spammed 10s to raise it's rating but yeah 8.5 is reasonable.

I started this show cz i saw edits on the trailer and it looked sooo good but then the 1st few episodes. Especially ep 1 were disastrous. With JJ just screaming for no damn reason in ep 1. I really wanted to drop it but then i didn't wanna judge it too fast and fans were like give it a chance and that's how i ended up chucking netjj on dmd 2. Well I think I hated this drama till ep 5. I literally forced myself to watch it cz it was soo confusing and the whole time travel thing felt pointless along with the drama on its own. But later it improved. The drama got much more engaging, interesting and JJs acting also improved. But i felt they should have distributed the plot a bit throughout the series instead of revealing everything in the last 15 mins of the drama. I personally wanted a few more episodes in the modern era but yeah they pretty much tie up all the lose ends although a little late.

Coming to our pairs netjj and lattekim.

Netjj - as someone who has watched and loved bed friend I wasn't very convinced that NetJJ would work on screen. But they work just fine🤭 there are times where both are on absolute different wavelengths and not in sync when it comes to acting but i think they will get a hang of it as they work together. They definitely did a great job and u could see they're comfortable with each other.

LatteKim - I've liked Latte in dmd1 and i didn't know he got a partner and such a pretty one at that. I was pleasantly surprised and loved it. I literally waited for them the whole series our precious JomKaew❤️❤️❤️. I've got 0 complaints with them. They did an amazing job.

2 of my fav scenes are related to them. 1 is the scene where the bowl in the painting gets fixed in the last ep and 2nd could be TutorYim's cameo n Jom's trauma 🤌🤌🤌🤌 i went from hating jom to loving him.

Overall yep it's good u can watch it.

Love never ends

I saw NetJJ in The New Prince with Zeenunew so thought i would give this a try and I am glad I did... The story isn't unique as it has been done before in I feel you linger in the air, (literally the only reason i dropped it half a point on story) but the acting is wonderful and makes this a stand out watch for me. JJ is so likeable, cute and enthusiastic, whilst Net is just so effortless, in the best way. 10 minutes into the finale and i was bawling like a baby, Net is so good at showing emotions, i really felt it. I am so glad they got their happy ever after, as well as the second couple...Kim as Kaew /Pun is so beautiful and Latte as Jom/Thee - I am a sucker for a happy ending. I dont do sad!! I dont feel like it dragged at all and looked forward to it every week.
