Chemistry was chemistriyng .?
Rewatched it , to be honest first and second time dropped after 3 ep.Coulnd't exact find the flow , but renewed my Netflix account only for this drama. 💖
The 5 age gap .😂 in real lifr girls 16 date guys 21.
What was the fuss about age , the drama is so beautiful written .
First like a brother and little Sis who has a Child like crush.
And from that little sweet love restrained because age.
Developed a beautifull amazing story, with love that runs the bucket over.
So many sweet moments, uncertainties , dought , love that bloomed like a lotus flower in the mudd and grows .🪷 when the lotus seeing the sun and greetz is with a smile.
I cried watching this drama, and i never do .🥺 after all it's just drama.
But this love story, went under my skin , and touched my soul.

Okay i am a fan of fresh of the sea but this i don't knowI am not a dex hater because i like him in adventure series also he is great.
But when you make a show dex only thats weird. I felt it was just him and not in a good way right now i am watching the new seas of fresh of sea. Its amazing because it feels real and fun to watch.
On the other this feels scripted and forced and the dex we love feels distant. This is not his genre wrong crowd maybe 🫡
The forced romance. Bromance my god 🤯its Unbreable

Cute, sweet, simple
Cute. Very simple, short, and extremely sweet. Pretty clean for a Japanese drama.I liked that the FL never lost weight or had a "glow up" but was emphasized as perfect how she was. (obviously she is not really plus size, she just has a round face and was dressed in super baggy clothes. Still, it's something). She is adorable and liked her in this series. ML was fine.
The acting, music, and production were all very typical and just fine. The pacing was pretty good for only having 8 short episodes.

When Your Friend Group Turns Out to Be a Gay Squad
I think very few people would argue with the fact that We Are is a comfort series.Like, let’s not lie to ourselves here. Everything about this show is designed to be light, entertaining, and just silly. You’ve got university life, a friend group (a friend group with WAY too many members, if you ask me), couples slowly forming, and generally speaking, everyone is just vibing. The world is peaceful. The grass is green.
There isn’t necessarily a huge amount of depth, and sometimes the humor is a little too omnipresent, but honestly? It knows what kind of show it wants to be.
And because there are approximately a LOT of couples in this drama, I feel like the best way to talk about We Are is to go through them one by one.
★ Phum & Peem ★
I’m going to try to be as honest as possible here, even though I’m not going to lie: Pond and Phuwin were a big reason why I started this drama in the first place.
Am I allowed to admit that I basically came here to see their performance ? ¯\(ツ)/¯
Anyway. I loved this couple.
Their dynamic is genuinely fun, especially during the first few episodes. Their first meeting is iconic. Peem, his little ponytail, and that majestic sandal throw? Yeah. Absolute Cinema. That moment is permanently engraved in my brain.
Now, is turning your crush into your personal slave actually the best way to keep them close? Apparently...
And somehow, it worked.
The constant teasing between Phum and Peem, the slow progression, the little moments where they get closer and closer, and then THAT kiss that practically made the entire sky explode into fireworks… yeah, I was entertained.
Would I say this is Pond and Phuwin’s best performance? Probably not. But honestly, We Are is such an easy, light show to watch that it doesn’t really need to be more than that. You just sit down, turn your brain off a little, and follow along.
However, I do think Phum and Peem suffer from the same issue as basically every other couple in this drama. The line between:
“I’m hitting on you.” / “We’re dating.” and “You’re literally my boyfriend.” is WAY too blurry.
Like, at some point, Phum and Peem are practically trying to absorb each other’s souls through kissing, but because the show has sixteen episodes to fill, apparently these kisses are still not enough proof that Peem might actually be attracted to Phum.
No. We still need to ask for permission to hit on him.
PLEASE, Peem.
Stop communicating through words for two seconds. Your actions, and especially your lips, have already made your feelings VEEEEEERY clear.
But hey, we do love a BL with a little resistance before someone finally gives in.
I also want to give the director some credit for actually giving Phum a family background. Yes, it’s cliché. Very cliché. But at least it adds a little bit of depth to a drama that is otherwise very much committed to being feeeeel goooood.
The problem is that even though we can clearly see that Phum’s past weighs heavily on him, I feel like his reconciliation with his father happens WAY too quickly.
Peem tells Phum to open up, so naturally I’m sitting there thinking:
Okay. Here we go.
He’s finally going to talk about how his childhood shaped him. He’s going to explain how much having an absent father affected the person he became. Maybe we’re finally going to get an actual conversation about how badly he wanted a father figure in his life.
No.
They just eat together. Phum shares some food with his dad. And suddenly, we’re good.
And I’m sorry, but I found that a little… hypocritical? Unrealistic?
It almost feels like the show is trying to give us this very utopian version of how family problems are solved. Just sit at the same table, share some food, and boom! Childhood trauma deleted.
And because of that, the one storyline that could have added a little more depth to the drama ends up feeling almost as light as everything else.
Still, though. They’re cute. That’s undeniable. And I think they were probably my favorite couple to watch.
ALSO. THE MUSIC.
Shoutout to whoever decided that Pond and Phuwin’s voices needed to be part of this experience because seeing Phum and Peem slowly getting closer while their songs are playing in the background was just ridiculously cute for reasons I cannot even explain.
ARRRGHH. I loved the music !!
★ Q & Toey ★
So… No. I’m sorry.
It’s weird because I don’t even necessarily hate them. I just never managed to love them that much. ‧₊˚❀༉‧₊˚Milkshake boy and pencil senior ‧₊˚❀༉‧₊˚
I think the biggest reason why I struggled with them was mostly because of the way everyone went about getting them together.
Personally, I’m very much on team:
Your friends should not interfere that much in someone else’s love life.
And unfortunately, that absolutely did not happen here. The whole plan was basically:
hihihi, let’s make Q jealous so we can FORCE him to reveal his feelings.
And I’m sorry, but the plan was dumb.
Because in the end, forcing him to reveal his feelings only proves that he had them from the beginning. So why couldn’t we just let things happen naturally instead of coming up with some twisted middle-school-level plan ?
Anyway, I’m not gonna lie, the friends constantly being around was already giving me the urge to hit something. I wanted to scream:
IT’S FINE. HE’S A GROWN MAN. STOP SHOWING UP ALL THE TIME.
And then we have the whole: “You’re my inspiration.” “Thanks to our Post-it notes, we created a strong bond.”
Listen. It’s cute. It’s cheesy.
But I don’t know, I just struggled with this couple.
It’s completely personal and probably a little unfair, but I just couldn’t get into their constant teasing, which, in this case, I found a little too childish.
And then: “You’re my special someone.” Oooof. Okay. Sure. (That's 100% ragebait.)
★ Tan & Khaofang ★
This couple genuinely surprised me. I loved them.
There’s something really addictive about Tan and Fang’s dynamic. I absolutely loved the extrovert boyfriend × introvert and loving boyfriend combination.
The only thing I found a little disappointing is that they got together way too quickly and easily. Sure, it was cute, but because of that, their relationship ended up taking away from their screen time.
We didn’t get the whole blurry: "I’m hitting on you.” /“I’m dating you.” /“You’re my boyfriend.” phase.
And for once, as blurry as that line was for everyone else, they clarified it WAAAYYY too quickly.
The chemistry between Aou and Boom is INSANE. And honestly, that word might still be too weak. I can’t really explain it, but their kisses just hit different.
That’s why I think it’s a shame they weren’t given more attention. You could clearly feel that this couple was stable, and yet we apparently preferred giving more screen time to the THREE OTHER COUPLES 💀.
★ Chain & Pun ★
I’m going to be brutally honest. I hated this couple.
I found them unnecessary, awkward, and superficial. They add absolutely nothing to the plot.
Honestly, the presence of this fourth couple made me feel like this friend group was nothing more than a bunch of couples attaching themselves to each other.
Like, I don’t know. Can you not look any further than your own friend group?
First of all, Pun and his obsession with penguins. I could scream.
That was the moment when I realized just how simple the writing was. Even back on Wattpad in 2016, people were trying to create smoother progression for couples to get closer.
Chain likes Pun. Or the penguins. Or whatever.
And he constantly drops these awkward, heavy flirting lines while Pun remains completely clueless. Seriously, is Pun the only guy who doesn’t know that neurons are supposed to connect?
The result is this painfully awkward teasing where Chain drops a flirty line with a face that makes him look constipated.
(Seriously, it looks like keeping his feelings inside is physically making him tense up.)
And then his entire friend group teases him in this weird way while Pun understands absolutely NOTHING.
And I don’t even think I’m going to talk about the ending.
I watched the last episode at 2x speed, and I can tell you that I was twice as surprised when, within an extremely short amount of time, he kissed him and made him his boyfriend.
Once again, this couple has weird progression and somehow makes the entire friend group feel even less believable.
Seriously, does everyone just want to kiss each other?
The only one who managed to calm his pheromones was Beer, and honestly, I thank him for that.
★ Overall ★
We Are is still a good drama.
There’s no denying that you have a good time watching it. I would say that the first ten episodes are definitely worth it. After that, though, it starts to feel long, and maybe sixteen episodes was simply too much.
But it’s still nice to see healthy and cute love stories on screen. Maybe a little too healthy and cute.
And the friend group and university dynamics add a lot of warmth to the drama.
This drama is definitely utopian, though. Personally, I would not recommend forming this many couples within the same friend group ☝️.
And also.
WHY did they thank each other so much???
Argh, the writing was really simple.
“Thank you for loving me.”
“Thank you for allowing me to be in your life.”
“Thank you for being my special someone.”
....... (100% ragebait pt.2.)
Anyway, I’ll also end this review with a thank you.
Thank you for reading me.

Not happy about the AI parts.
The production kind of failed this drama. I really can't stand AI, that's just being lazy and take the art away from making a good drama. The dubbing was badly done. The hair color was inconsistent from dark to light, in time frames that it shouldn't change.
The story was actually good, but unfortunately a few parts of the story felt incomplete.
The actors did a great job, the mains had good chemistry.
Kisses were ok, not great! Good NC scenes.

My most favorite yoon do woon never have i ever seen any of this program
Dude made me fall for him
He ain't main not super funny he is normal guy from busan his accent and the way the dude is just so real.
He knows he ain't like others.
but i think thats why i loved the show they are just men being men. And the handsomeness of diverse characters of men makes it even more better, how each of them goes through the same but is different yet real is admirable.
The episodes i watched where perfetto. Want see more of yoon do woon and car the garden.

One of the few gmmtv bls that I actually enjoyed watching. Krist is rather cute here😁, annoying character but later episodes he's just cute and funny. Both him and Gawin are great.
Glad I watched it.
(I'm not that big on reviewing, I kinda lack media literacy so I avoid saying too much.)

I happen to not like either of these leads not because they don't act well but because of the *types* of projects they choose. The FL has some of the most memorable and heartbreaking chinese drama scenes. And yet, I couldn't finish this. I gave the series a go two times and dropped it both times. Maybe time and decreasing brain cells will allow me to try for a third time. ¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?

I Tried I really did
Okay, so i tried to give this another eshot. THat would be my third run at this show. I kind of enjoyed it I think. But honestly, the annoying character portrayed my the female leads just gives me hives. At least I know enough of the plotline to forward the extremely annoying parts. very very rarely do I abandon a drama. I can count it on one hand and I had to abandon this one. the writing was great however the main female lead Esther Yu was absolutely horrific. Originally, I thought it was a cultural thing to be annoying/cutesy and act childlike and then I looked at other of her works and realized the fault was all on her acting. honestly, I don't know how she got cast in anything ever again after My Amazing Boyfriend. I genuinely regret the casting choice as everyone else was doing a great job. I stuck it out for 22 out of the 36 episodes and then out of concern for the safety of my TV, I put the remote down and ate a cookie. I would suggest the same.¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?

Terrible Script but Great Acting
A heart breaking drama about a girl with leukemia and a power hungry vicious father. I think something important to learn here is that not everyone copes with being sick in the same way. She could not handle being a burden to him so she chose to run. Twice. I get it they loved each other but idk if my relationship could have survived that. That being said his whole abuse plotline was completely far out and should not have been tolerated regardless of what she had done in the past. The actors all did a great job (special shout out to the girls brother/best friend of ML for being a stand up guy and not putting up with BS.) They all did great with such a terrible script.

For the first three episodes, I kept wondering why I was putting myself through this. The throne alone in the first episode shows just how cheap this drama looks. The wallpaper on the throne is badly pasted on, and you can even see the assembly joints. So I almost dropped the drama. But the story made me want to keep watching for a little longer, and in the end, I found myself starting to enjoy the two main characters, especially the FL.
Let’s not lie to ourselves, though: this is still a drama with quite a few rookie actors and some pretty bad ones. The drama is clearly going for a very comedic tone, and in some ways, it works at times, but the direction is pretty poor. I’m not used to this kind of drama, so maybe that’s exactly what people who watch these dramas are looking for.
I think the main positive takeaway for me will be the FL, who, with a bit more experience and better opportunities, deserves to be in a bigger production.

Heartbreaking and Amazing but bring tissues
This show was an absolutely gut-wrenching love story. The two genuinely loved each other and I hope there is another life where they would have a happy ending. However, from the moment he chose to massacre her grandfather on the day of their wedding he lost that choice. Messing with her memory and lying about her family's downfall made him the villian. Even after all of that the phenomenal acting of the ML made your heary break for him because he genuinely loved her. However, again, he chose power over her up until the end when she gave her life to protect her people and their peace. And he had to live with that guilt and regret for the rest of his life. The writing, acting, and directing were amazing. Huge props to her head maid in the palace for giving her money and helping her escape. Her loyal warrior maid by her side deserved so much better.

All time terrible show
I truly don't understand how anyone likes this show. The ML literally kidnaps the FL while she has amnesia and gaslights her by pretending to be her husband for eight cringe episodes. Then he forces her to go to Japan at knife point and still doesn't tell her the truth!! It’s so creepy and people call it romantic. The only reason to even keep watching is waiting for the truth to come out and it takes eight full episodes and then when she finally finds out she turns around lies to him. Dropped at episode 9. If you actually like this show just admit that as long as the guy is handsome he can get away with anything.Oh and the acting is horrible. The crying scenes are really cringy. The leads are very attractive though, there's that.

Great Acting with an Overused Storyline
The utter heartbreak the ML goes through when he thinks she died in childbirth was so real you felt it through the screen, across continents and languages barriers, and then sitting home on your couch. It almost made up for his immature (bc it was) comment about her that caused them to breakup. I am proud of her for sending everything back and decisively leaving someone who acted in love with her but spoke badly about her to his friends. This is a strong character and one that was able to rebuild herself. I wonder if they had stayed together if they would have been able to save her other child. Possibly, money tends to open closed doors. Brownie points for the ride or die BF and her mom. Bonus points for his best friend for not giving a hoot about HIPPA. (do they have hippa in china?)¿Te ha parecido útil esta reseña?
