A Lot of Potential, But What the F Am I Watching?

Okay… I finally finished watching Wuju Bakery, and honestly, I’m still trying to figure out what the hell I just watched. 😂

Considering all the fiascos and delays that happened before this series was finally released, I really wanted to give it a fair chance. And to be fair, Barcode and Jeff Satur are good actors. They’ve proven that they can carry emotional scenes and deliver when given the right material.

But here’s the problem: they somehow feel like anchors holding the rest of the cast together.

The biggest issue for me is the story and the overall execution. The series feels like it wants to be too many things at once, and the result is a narrative that is all over the place. Even the language use—Korean, Thai, English—sometimes feels less like a natural part of the world and more like something thrown in because it sounded interesting.

And come on… if the goal is to attract an international audience, invest in the story and the world-building. That should be the priority.

I don't think the production needed some insane, Hollywood-level CGI to make this work. The fantasy elements could have been effective with a stronger script, better settings, more consistent world-building, and a story that actually knows where it wants to go.

Instead, it feels like the production invested heavily in Barcode and Jeff, expecting their presence to carry the whole thing. And while they absolutely did their best, even talented actors can only do so much when the material around them isn't strong enough.

There were moments where I could see the potential. The premise could have been genuinely interesting. The actors had moments where they showed they were capable of much more. But the series needed a tighter story, better pacing, stronger supporting characters, and a more convincing setting.

So, overall: Barcode and Jeff? Good. The potential? Definitely there. The execution? A mess.

I don't hate the series, but I can't pretend it delivered what it could have. After everything that happened before its release, I honestly expected something more polished and cohesive.

Please, production teams: stop thinking that putting two popular and talented actors in a project is enough. Give them a damn story worth acting in.

Hua Yong is a different kind of pervert and I love it!!!

I was a bit intimidated by the reviews I'd heard about this series before I started it, but turns out that it was all just noise!

I really enjoyed this for the toxic value and Hua Yong's utter shamelessness in his pursuit of Mr. Sheng. I kinda liked that there wasn't anything big and dramatic in the way everything resolved. Hua Yong is crazy and Mr. Sheng accepted that pretty quickly by how fast he folded.

I'm not rating this higher because Gao Tu deserved better and I cannot in any way be satisfied with that ending for them. I'll be sad about this for a while😭

So, please. Can we get Season 2? ?

I have a complete denial when it comes to watching dubbed Chinese series. 😂 And yet, somehow, Sammy’s Children’s Day became an exception.

Not only did I finish it… I actually wanted MORE. 😭

And the funny thing? It’s Cantonese! I still went for it, and honestly, I’m glad I did.

I really enjoyed the story. The way it explored the Hong Kong gang setting, especially the way they lure in this nerdy boy, was so interesting. But what really got me was the slow-burn emotion. It creeps up on you quietly, then suddenly you realize you’re completely invested. The tension was chilling, yet somehow soothing at the same time — the kind that just stays under your skin.

The production also deserves praise. Good budget, good direction, and a well-written script. Everything felt thoughtfully put together, and the story knew how to build its atmosphere without rushing things.

My only complaint?

IT FELT TOO SHORT. 😭

Just when I was getting comfortable and fully invested, it was already over. I was left sitting there thinking, “Wait… that’s it?! What happens next?!”

So, please. Can we get Season 2? 🙏

Because for me, this was genuinely good. It surprised me, pulled me in, and left me wanting more — which is probably the biggest compliment I can give a series I never expected to finish in the first place.

Good story. Good direction. Good production. Slow-burn emotions. And definitely too short.

Now give us Season 2, or else. 😤😂

I finally finished Love of Silom, and overall, I’d say it was okay and enjoyable to watch.

One thing that really stood out to me was the bar production and performances. The dancers were really good, and the performances felt like a full production rather than just something happening in the background. Honestly, those scenes were some of the highlights of the series for me. 👏✨

And of course, I was always rooting for Tai! 😭 I honestly thought he was going to get a side couple storyline, but he ended up being more of a supporter of the main actor. Still, I enjoyed seeing him on screen and was hoping for a little more from his character.

I also think the overall story reflects the reality of people who have experienced similar struggles — family problems, financial difficulties, and the pressure to earn more money. Sometimes, when people are struggling, they’ll try almost anything to survive or improve their situation, and I think the series captured that aspect quite well.

The actors did a good job with their performances, although I felt they could have been given stronger material. For me, the story could have used more plot twists and unexpected turns to make it more exciting and keep the momentum going.

Overall, Love of Silom was an okay watch. Not perfect, but there were definitely things I enjoyed. And if there’s one thing I’ll remember most, it’s definitely the bar performances and those talented dancers. They really stood out! 💃🔥

And yes… I’m still rooting for Tai. 😂❤️

I am so sorry, old friend

Just realized I have free will and I don't have to watch the special episode, so yay, Jack and Joke. After god knows how long (615 days; I am so sorry), I have finally finished this show, and like always, I have a lot of thoughts, good and bad. I will give a 9 (8.7) out of 10. Then I am going to say what I liked, what I didn’t, do an episode overview, and finally lay baby girl to rest.

I don't even know where to start because it has actually been so fucking long lmao. I guess I can start with Yin and War, because I love them a lot, but I know them and their track record, and that's why I'm not watching the special episode. I am especially in love with War, him and that soft voice, god I want a piece of that, my lord. I thought their chemistry shined through in this, like always, and their acting was so good; I didn't even want to finish the show lmao. But yeah, love my boys, but we need some whimsy with their next show because why do we never have any whimsy? Like whatever, can't wait for their next show and loved them in this shit despite it taking me so long to finish. YIN (and his beauty marks on his neck) BLACK TURTLE NECK EPISODE 7 I AM WET. Okay, I am done.

Despite this show's track record, it is actually beyond fucking funny. Like, my lord, I was laughing my ass off almost the entire time, so that's always good to see because I feel like shows with a bunch of plot always try really hard to be serious, and sometimes all you need is a good laugh to get you through the plot. So yeah, good on them.

Looking at my reviews, I think I liked the plot and their romance. They were starting to fall for each other, and ignoring that weird time skip, it was cute. Like, you could really tell the feelings with them despite the entire world not wanting them together; I loved that. I also think the plot was pretty good; it did get convoluted towards the start and the middle, but I still think they did a pretty good job with this. WAIT I DID KIND OF LIKE THE PLOT TOWARDS THE END, I FELT LIKE IT WAS A LITTLE BIT OF RUNNING CIRCLES AROUND EACH OTHER, IT WAS STILL KIND OF FUN. Like there's levels to this shit, with the 4 kings or whatever the fuck, I actually really enjoyed that, like a bigger fish to fry kind of thing.

HOPE AND SAVE. Or I think that was their names. I fucking loved them. Even though I hardly remembered their plot towards the end, my love for them did not fade, oh my god. I loved them, and they were lowkey perfect for each other, so go them (I would rewatch for them, I can't lie). Dog eat dog world for real. Eat the rich, not each other, bro.

And then finally, for things I liked, I actually put the ending on here. I thought the ending was good. Of course, the ending to THIS show and not the special episode that I will not be watching because I do not really have to do anything. That is the moral of this story: do whatever the fuck you want. But yeah, I thought the ending was fun, like, hey, there is always bigger fish to fry, and you guys think your pawn is in a game? Actually, the main villain is the pawn in the game of life. What a do. So basically, in a dog-eat-dog world, there is always somebody richer, a bigger fish to fucking fry, like, holy goddamn shit. I like that a lot. That was lowkey a good ending. They were dragging that shit, though, which I did not enjoy at all, but I am like, hey, okay, that is good. But that is fucked up that Rose's dad used her for the pawn thing, and it is also fucked up that Joke cannot spell. But I like that ending a lot. I know what is to come for the special episode, and sometimes you have to choose happiness over getting the true ending. So, yeah.

Regarding things I didn't like. I don't know if they did that on purpose or what, but the start was not good, like at all. I felt like we were just thrown in there, and I was god-awful confused. Not even like intrigued confused, just like, hey, what the fuck is happening? I think especially for a show with this much plot, they should have started it better, but that's whatever.

RUN AROUND. One thing about this show that I do remember is this run around shit. Like, hey, how much can we do the same thing over and over again? I will answer that you would be surprised. Like, oh, we are stealing, oh he's lying to us, or wait, now we are mad at him. Come on now y'all, what are we doing? That was just kind of irritating. I can't lie. Like it doesn't really give me any comfort; it just felt like, oh fuck, it is happening again, and it became more of a dreading-it thing. Adding more to this runaround shit, we started to drag-plot it too, and I really did not want this to be a drag plot, but we were losing the plot rapidly because we were trying to push it to 12 episodes. But yeah.

ON TOP OF THE RUN AROUND SHIT. ROSE THAT MAN IS NOT YOUR MAN AND HAS NEVER BEEN YOUR MAN, OH MY GOD HE DOES NOT WANT YOU CAN WE PLEASE LAY OFF (I MEAN SHE DOES, BUT IT TAKES FUCKING FOREVER). LIKE OH MY GOD HE IS GONNA PROPOSE, YOUR MAN LIKESSSS DICKKKK BITCH. HE DOESN'T WANT YOU, BRUH.

The horsemen people. Babe, we were playing some childish ass games and making it to be this whole thing. Babe, we played Snakes and Ladders and Monopoly; why are we making it this whole thing? Like bitch get me some fucking Candy Land while we are at it. That pissed me off, silly, and then hangmen shit (I was really into that though), but god, y'all come up with some better games.

Okay episode overview time, yayaya. Episode 1: " Yep, not a clue what is happening. He's funny. Okay, bruh, what is happening? That was not a good start in my opinion, and I feel very confused, but I am going to give this show a chance lol." Episode 2: "A kleptomaniac, ass pathological liar whose morally grey falls for some poor kid who just wants to be a national champion." "Holy fuck bro looks so sexy in this washed-out lighting." Episode 5: "Whoever is on camera duty is making their height difference look almost criminal lmao." Episode 7: "LOOSING MY MIND WITH YIN IN THIS FUCKING SUIT HOLY SHIT. A tear just ran down my leg, maybe even a few more for him in that black turtleneck. Save and hope the betrayers!! Dog eat dog world bro, and it be your own fucking people." Episode 8: "Jack has made his bed, and now he is going to lie in it. He is the only one to blame now. And save fuck him. Joke is scared of his dad, dude. Look at those eyes. They are playing Snakes and fucking ladder lol and making it out to be this big thing. He looks like he is being held at gunpoint in that video. In a world where everyone seems to hate you, having that one person who loves you is the best feeling in the world. The beauty marks or moles, if you will, all on Yin's neck ARE SO SEXYYYY. Not to be feral in these desperate times, but shit. I should sleep and be happy while I sleep and not let this show ruin my life." And then Chloe didn't watch the show for two years lmao. Episode 10: "LOWKEY AT THE END OF THE DAY, HE'S ONE GUY; WE JUST NEED TO GET ENOUGH ANGRY PEOPLE, AND YOU CAN TAKE HIM DOWN. OR FLEE LIKE COWARDS, I GUESS, I DON'T REALLY KNOW." Episode 11: "But yeah, I have an inkling I know what's coming, but really acceptance is really the first step. I don't really know. Maybe that's the moral here: accept your fate and life will be easier. ALSO, boss is just a guy; why don't we fucking shoot him? Or are we too fucking dumb to do that, huh?"

I will give it to them; I got really into this show. So into it, I didn't want to finish it lmao, because you know. Give yourself some peace of mind and just watch this, not the special lmao. And just like this, we are finally. Goodbye old friend, you will be missed. Okay bye!

Overall, it is a very nice series. This is the third time I have watched this.

Actors ... Most were very good.
Characters ... I was able to feel a lot of the characters and have an emotional connection with them.
OST ... lovely.
Storyline ... Actually, pretty good. It is nice to see something different.
CGI ... Was not great.
Fight scenes ... Good, sometimes very good.

I really enjoyed this show and the chemistry between FL and ML was lovely. They played their roles very well and the emotions they gave suited the story and progression.
The second ML was lovely to watch, albeit painful. His acting was superb and I could empathize with him and feel his frustration. His regression into insanity was believable.
The other supporting roles were OK but a tad boring.
The comedy was great, not too much, but the timing was done well.

The only downside to this series was the FLs character. Wow was she annoying, I get she was playing a certain manipulation game, but her voice actually hurt my ears. When the ML told her to talk properly ... I was yelling inside my head ... YES!! PLEASE TALK PROPERLY! PLEASE!

Growth, this was a hard one, I didn't feel ‘growth’ but saw change ... I guess it is similar, but it is hard for me to explain. I don't think this series called for growth, more acceptance, and reliance.
This is ‘rewatchable’, but the end is a bit boring.

On a side note, the kitty cat and dragon ... LOVE THEM!

A Masterpiece!!!

When Life Gives You Tangerines is not just one of the best K-dramas I’ve ever watched — it is one of the most beautiful stories about life I’ve ever seen.

It’s about love, but not the perfect kind of love we usually see on screen. It’s about the love that stays. The love that works, sacrifices, forgives, grows old, and survives through all the different seasons of life.

I laughed, I cried, and I saw pieces of my own family and my own life in this story. It made me think about parents, children, dreams we had to change, sacrifices nobody noticed, and all the ordinary moments that eventually become the most precious memories.

The acting, the scenery of Jeju, the music, the writing… everything is beautiful. But what makes this drama unforgettable is how deeply human it feels.

Some stories entertain you. Some stories stay with you.

When Life Gives You Tangerines stays with you. 🍊❤️

One of the best dramas I have ever watched. A masterpiece.

A Beautifully Crafted Seven-Lifetime Love Story

Love You Seven Times is a delightful xianxia romance that balances humor, emotion, fantasy, and tragedy remarkably well. The seven-lifetime premise could easily have become repetitive, but the drama keeps things moving with different settings, conflicts, and relationship dynamics in each arc. Basically establishing a genre for each life.

Ding Yuxi is excellent as Chu Kong, effortlessly moving between arrogance, comedy, vulnerability, and genuine emotional depth. Yang Chaoyue is equally charming as Xiang Yun, and their chemistry is undoubtedly one of the drama’s greatest strengths. Their playful banter makes the lighter moments genuinely fun, while the more emotional scenes have enough sincerity to land.

I particularly enjoyed the pace. The story rarely feels unnecessarily stretched, and each lifetime contributes something meaningful to the development of the central relationship. The balance between comedy and heartbreak also keeps the drama engaging without becoming overwhelmingly heavy.

The visual effects and production design deserve praise as well. The heavenly realms, magical battles, costumes, and fantasy sequences create a beautiful, dreamlike atmosphere that suits the genre perfectly. While not flawless, the CGI is imaginative and enhances rather than distracts from the story.

Ultimately, Love You Seven Times succeeds because beneath all the mythology and reincarnation, it tells a simple and timeless story about two people repeatedly finding their way back to each other.

A charming, entertaining, and visually appealing xianxia with excellent chemistry and performances.

All very much following the usual trope which made this show unbearably boring.

Oh, how I tried ...

This is a typical romance drama. Starts off with a group of young friends then for some reason, lose contact but eventually find each other again.
The connection didn't work for me. They were too young; they did not build the friendship enough to result in feelings that deep, I could not feel the emotion. The FL just came across as obsessive, stalker type.
The child actors are very good, and they all have great friend chemistry, but I think the flashbacks were a little too much.
It was boring. Perhaps a bit of comedy would have helped, but there was nothing funny about this show.
The parent being ridiculously overbearing was unrealistic. To threaten families ... so her child can have better grades, really needs to think up better story lines. This forced angst gets tiring. But maybe it is a cultural thing, and it is a little hard for me to understand.
The reverse roles were different; I guess, but still the chemistry fell flat.

Underdeveloped

Itou and Nishi meet on a white line on the road as they try their best to stay on it.

What I Love
I love them, they’re super cute. I also love the cinematography and how quirky this show was in Episode 1. I love it in Episode 2 when they had a long conversation it was probably the highlight of the whole show. The actors are also incredible and I’m glad we got proper kissing. I also love that this show tackles themes of internalized homophobia and interracial marriage.

What I Don’t Like
Its too short that moments appear out of the blue, they never got proper character development. Everything is too fast, it has time skips for no reason other than it doesn’t have the time. The show shows them from ages 17-40, most of the time the time skips feel unnecessary especially in the last episode.

A waste of time

This drama was a let down.
It started as a not-so-innovative, but still cute drama, and then it dragged on and on, and on...

The drama is at no point remarkable, but the last few episodes really pissed me off. I wanted to see the bad guys punished, the good guys rewarded, the prejudice trampled upon. But no, the klichés kept flowing til the end. A flow as vapid and tepid as the overall story was.
The side romance was so boring, I can't even...

The only character I looked forward to watching was Jeon Gi Tae.
Also, kudos to the set designers and the cinematographers: the office is very pretty, and so are some outdoor shots.

When simplicity pays off

This is the most engaging and romantic drama I have seen in a while. The confession in ep. 7 will live rent free in my head together with the song for a long long time.
The strongest point is the simplicity of the plot and how it develops in a natural way. No unecessary characters and side stories, no useless scenes or dialogues, no gratuitous violence or inexplicable dramas. You see how it starts, you understand why it develops the way it does and you love how it ends.
I already miss these two, I think I will soon start watching it all over again.
You're not too late to watch it, you're right on time!

Comedy, Romance and a Social Commentary. Just perfect.

Things I adored

1 The ML

2 The FL

3 The relationship between the ML and the 2ML. This what you doo when you want to give viewers something to love. You start at point 1 and you go up to 10 in a natural way that doesn't seem like you planted things just to advance your agenda. I hated the 2ML at first and I was waiting with eager the day the ML would fight back so I could see his fall. Then, I started see who they were, have a glimpse on their past and their friendship and my heart started to mellow.
These boys were both victims to fate, to stupid decisions they had nothing to do with, to life. Still, I didn't expect to love their bromance so much. I was equally happy for their relationship as I were for the romance. I truly wish there was a follow up. The relationship was so well done, you couldn't help but want them to be friends again. At some point we could see they started trust each other again and that was so heartwarming. Not to mention the so many funny moments between them.
The actors did a fantastic job, the best I've seen in a series that has a that kind of relationship. I praise again the screenwriter and the director for the attention to detail and the way they managed to convey all the feelings. My favorite part of the series along with the main couple's romance.

4 The 2ML. Were do I start? First of all I don't have 2ML syndrome. Never. I don't remember any 2ML to be my favorite, I'm always with the ML. Same here, I never wavered between the two. That said, he's my favorite ever 2ML. Not because of the FL alone, but because of the character and the way he evolved. I understand everything he went through. The dark phase about the suicide and the blame on the ML, the feelings about the FL and the realization that he would never be the one. The struggle to get over it and to fond another way to be happy. I fell for him every step on the way. If you ask me which character, amongst the hundreds I've watched, I'd love to be happy it'd be him.
He was someone I wanted to smack at first because I knew he was unfair to the ML but bit by bit he became that perfect friend who you ant to hug and make the pain go away. He cared and protected the FL every chance he had. He stayed with her when she needed him, he pushed her toward her happiness. Yes, the scene in the staircases was heartbreaking. When he said: he'll leave and you have to run if you want to catch him before he leaves, my heart bled for him. When he was thinking about his moments with the FL same thing. He was caring and honest and smart and funny. He would be the perfect ML. Just not here.
I loved the way he went against the bullies, against the "friend". He was there even when she knew nothing about it. He dealt with even the confession in the best way. If the writer writes one day a story about him finding love I'd be the happiest. The actor did a great job and I want to praise him. He made me fall in love with a character I hated at first.

5 The main couple. I know I talked already about them, but I have to make a new entry about their relationship because after watching hundreds of dramas I rank it on the top 3 without any doubt. They were perfect for each other. The way they were together was perfection. Even when they were at odds in the first episodes it was a delight to watch them interact. I will be honest, I wasn't mesmerized by the kisses. I was e4xpecting much better but they weren't terrible as many I've seen in other dramas. They just weren't up to par with the quality of the drama.
That is my only complain, but everything else was perfect. The small details, they way they were looking at each other, smiling, holding hands, being jealous, teasing, everything worked for me. Their chemistry was unparalleled. I wish they'd do another drama together. I think my heart fluttered the most because they were the same age and everything felt natural and rewarding. That he knew about her was great, it made me feel that she had someone on her corner. When he protected her at school my heart exploded. This is how you create swooning moments that stay with you. The best couple along with a few others like the You're My Lover Friend or The Love You Give Me or the Love is Sweet. I loved the couple in hidden Love, but there was always the age issue and it wasn't as perfect. here it was perfect from start to finish. Yes, definitely my favorite.

6 The relationships. I loved each relationship in this drama. I mentioned most of them in other entries, but there are still some I need to highlight. The relationship between the three friends, the ML, the 2ML and their friend who died. It was so heartwarming to see, I loved every scene they were together. The relationship between the main couple of course, between the sisters, between the two ML, between the the 2ML and hi sister, and here I want to mention his mom as well. She was there for a few scenes but they were so well done and so real. The friendships at school and the relationship of he parents of the FL with the Ml and the teacher. The relationship between the owner of the comic book store and the FL and the ML. As I said all were done in such a good way I couldn't help loving them. Even the less prominent characters had their shining moments.

7 The humor. I didn't expect to laugh so much, but although there was a heavy topic touched the interactions between the characters were so funny sometimes that it lightened the whole heavy feeling that weighed on you seeing what was happening. There were so many moments, but randomly: the wedding, the dumplings preparation from the two ML, the friends of the ML and the 2Ml teasing them, the teacher and his difficulty to deal with his fierce girlfriend. They even managed to make cute and funny the drunk scene with the ML. I hate drinking and the culture of it, but he was so cute and the dialogue so funny.
But the humor was also in the exaggeration like when the 2Ml talked about himself, or the scene the father saw them kissing at the ML?s house, or the hospital scenes between the ML and the 2ML. Another one with the ghost story as well as the hiding of the FL at the hospital. I'm sure I forget a lot, but all on all it was a fun drama and as I said I didn't expect that.

8 The details. What made me adore this drama are the details. The screenwriter and the director don't leave anything that they don't put care in. from their past to the connection to the future, the first snow story, the scenes they chose to show how their love for the FL grew or how the FL felt, everything is quasi perfect. My heart felt everything every time. The way they ended together in bed, the way every episode ends, the way the relationships are repaired or break. Everything is meticulously done. I loved that they didn't kiss while he was drunk and they made love after a few hours had gone by.

9 The ending. I think I read that some found the ending rushed or didn't like it. I thought it was perfect. We had time to tie all loose ends and we had enough time with the main couple to be happy for them and with them. The wedding, the friendships all was there. Most of all we had the chance to see the 2MLwith the FL and with the ML and feel that everything will go well. Was it also heartbreaking for the 2ML? Of course, but it couldn't finish any other way. I loved the comic book store scenes, it was the perfect way to end it for the main couple. I also loved that we saw them, well, saw is a big word, but we imagined them making love. To me it would be unfinished if they wouldn't act this way after so many years in love. So to me it was the perfect ending. I would rank it on the top 3 of all the endings I've watched and I watched a lot.

Things I loved

1 The premise. I thought it'd be difficult to make it work, but I was so wrong. They did a fabulous job. Everyone played so well their part that it was believable and got me laugh, cry, yell. I felt everything they wanted to convey in each and every scene and to be honest I don't remember any other series that made me feel so different emotions and so deep. Kudos to the writer, the screenwriter, the director and the cast. I wish I could start over.

2 The sister. At first, she got on my nerves but little by little I loved her. The actress is beautiful and she truly embodied the character. I won't deny that some scenes irritated me, especially those that had to do with drinking, but at the end of the day, she was a good person. A good sister, a smart and dynamic career woman and she had principles. There's nothing really that could make me dislike her. I loved that she was different from all Kheroines, but also different from her sister. It was interesting to see the dynamic.

3 The brother. Another character who irritated me at first and whom I loved in the end. That's something the screenwriter needs to be praised. That all the characters show growth. He was funny and touching and it was sweet to watch him interact with the 2ML's sister. I also loved his relationship with the FL. He got me in tears a few times when she was suffering and he was there for her any way he could.

4 The school days. It was interesting and well done. We had time to watch them evolve and to watch many different relationships. From bromances to female friendships and from teacher student relationships to romantic relationships, every bit helped paint a canvas that was interesting and vibrant. I loved every interaction happening at school even when it was heartbreaking because that's what gave the series its value.

5 The sister of the 2ML. Although she didn't have many scenes, she was great in these. I loved how naturally she came to interact with the FL and of course her relationship with her brother. I also loved how she was with the FL's brother and how they left things, it was cute and logical at the same time and I loved that they didn't force any romance. We can leave it to our imagination.

6 The wedding of the sister of the FL. Oh, my god, it was over the top but so funny. I can't believe the things that happened. So ridiculous and at the same time so well done and fitted to the tone of the series and the character of the bride. I laughed hard and I wish we had seen the MC also dance instead of just watching the chaos. Still, it was a great way to reward the viewer. The bride was also very beautiful and the kiss scene the cherry on the top.

7 That they didn't follow the novel to the letter. I never read the novel but it seems that the FL dates the 2ML when the ML is abroad. Thank goodness they didn't go there. I would have hated that. They gave us enough interactions to make us feel for the 2ML without crossing a line. I know in real life things could go otherwise, but I'm not watching dramas with romance to experience real life. Give me realistic scenes for everything except romance. I want the romance to be ideal and make my heart flutter. That's all. I loved the 2ML but if they had kissed or dated I'd be devastated, so thank you to those who decided against it.

Things I liked

1 The mother of the FL. I won't lie For at least half the episodes I wanted to smack her. I get the problems with her husband but what does this to have to do with the children and especially the FL? I was so sorry for her to have such an abrasive mother. But then they did also a great job and redeemed her. I thought of my parents and that even though they loved us with all their heart and did their best, they couldn't avoid mistakes. Five children each with their character and it wasn't always easy to make it work. So, I was happy to see her happy. Because at the end of the day this is what the issue was. She wanted her children happy so she can rest. She also had some funny scenes. That said, she irritated me so many times that U can't say I loved her. So liked it is.

2 The father of the FL. Difficult to have an opinion about him. Honestly he must be one of the characters I don't know how to rate. He loved his children and he was a decent person. Then again, he caused so many issues to his family, it's a miracle he could stay. I loved his interactions with the FL and his other children and the funny beats with the ML when he stayed at his house. He was a decent person and that counts. I wish we could see some success for him but well, this stayed realistic.

3 The relationship of the sister of the FL and the teacher. It wasn't perfect, but it had its moments and it was sweet how lost he was when he met her. I loved that he accepted her and didn't try to change her. Honestly, if I write so many things even for things and characters that could go without their entry is because even the details like these were to my liking. I love that both were ready to work on their differences and there were many instances that this happened. Some were touching some funny, but so good to see.

4 The friendship between the the FL and Su Jin. That's a tough one. I could put in things I loved and also in things I hated so let's go with the middle. I wasn't happy how their relationship evolved. I was fuming and I wanted the FL never to speak to that "friend". The thing is though, it wasn't her character so to remain true to who she was, she had to forgive her. I don't. I can't forget the pain the FL went through because of her jealousy and all the excuses of the world like the abusive father won't make me me forget or forgive.
That said, I was also happy to see her apologize and turn a new leaf. It was touching to see them reunite, the three friends, but I can't help thinking that I would do the same as the FL and that leaves me with a bitter taste. Because my heart would guide me and for this kind of tings I'd wish my head would take the lead. You can't break someone's heart and hope things will remain intact. Complicated relationship and so well done.

Things I disliked

1 The father of the ML. I was happy for him to get closer to his father, but to be honest to me it felt more like the character of the father was there to serve for the breakup and the suicide story. Did I mind? No, not really. It was well done and not so on the nose so it was good. It just wasn't rewarding that in the end he paid, but the ML also paid. Why would he have to upend his life for a father who was never the father he deserved?

Things I hated

1 The bullying. That was hard. It's such a hard topic for me I had trouble watching some scenes. But it was also good to remember what students all over the world go though. I wish the teachers had more to say about it and I wish the stupid students who perpetrated that paid one way or another. They got off unscathed other than the scolding and threatening from the 2ML. He was great, but it wasn't enough for me. These girls never learned a lesson and seeing they continued to harass the transferring student even later in the drama was frustrating to say the least. I wanted to kick their behind so badly. So sensitive topic, dealt quite well, but not deep enough.
